Limb rehabilitation is one of the key issues for improving the quality of life in patients with stroke. Studies have demonstrated that the retention and recovery of active movement of hemiplegic limb have predictive value for the prognosis in acute stroke. The responsible lesion sites and rehabilitation training in the acute phase may be an important factor in influencing the recovery of active movement ability of hemiplegie upper limb. However, there is still lack of a large, multi-center study, and further related studies are needed.

Objective To investigate the distribution of measured value and the expected value of spirometry parameters in healthy children aged 5-14 years old in Beijing,and to provide evidence for clinical interpretation precisely.Methods Four hundred healthy children (198 boys and 202 girls) aged 5 to 14 years from the kindergartens and the primary schools in Beijing were selected as subjects.All of the parameters were measured by using Jaeger Masterscreen spirometry machine(Germany).Pulmonary function parameters including forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiatory volume in 1 second (FEV1),FEV1/FVC,peak expiratory flow(PEF),forced expiratory flow at 50% of vital capacity(FEF50),forced expiratory flow at 75% of vital capacity(FEF75),and the maximal midexpiratory flow(MMEF) were collected for analysis.The expected values of the 7 parameters above were calculated according to Zapletal prediction equations(4-18 years old).The measured value vs.the expected value was calculated.Results Children aged 5 to 12 years had similar height and weight between boys and girls,and the differences were not significant(all P>0.05);while boys were taller and heavier than girls in 13-<14 years old group and 14 years old group,and the diffe-rences were significant(t=3.35,2.05,5.99,2.67;all P<0.05).The mean measured value vs.the expected value of PEF,FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC of children in different gender and age groups ranged between 105.0%-114.7%,95.4%-106.8%,104.6%-115.4% and 105.8%-112.6%,respectively.The mean measured value vs.the expected value of small airway function parameters FEF50,FEF75,MMEF was as follows respectively:79.7%-103.7%,70.2%-110.5%,and 81.6%-114.7%.The low limit of normal(LLN) measured value vs.the expected value of the 7 pulmonary function parameters was as follows:PEF 85.0%,FVC 84.7%,FEV1 92.4%,FEV1/FVC 98.4%,FEF50 67.7%,FEF75 60.1%,and MMEF 71.0%.Conclusions The pulmonary function parameters of the healthy children in Beijing are higher than those of the Zapletal prediction.The measured value vs.the expected value of FEV1 92.4%,FEV1/FVC 98.4%,PEF 85.0%,FVC 84.7%,FEF50 67.7%,FEF75 60.1%,and MMEF 71.0% can be used as LLN in 5-14 years old children.

BACKGROUND: The studies concerning rehabilitation robot step later in China, many of which are assisted rehabilitation robot rather than rehabilitation training robot. Currently, the rehabilitation instruments in China can not satisfy the intelligentification and man-machine engineered requirement of robots.OBJECTIVE: Considering the predicament of supply and demand relationship of medical service for rehabilitation, to propose a combined robot system for assisted tele-rehabilitation based on remote operation technology and medical device. METHODS: Considering the safety, magneto-theological damper and direct current machine was adopted to design a combined manipulator, which utilizing tale-robot technology in training limb disability patients. According to the remote setting of rehabilitation therapist, patients could perform rehabilitation exercise, which can realize real-time and precision of stiffness display.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The clients are patients who have upper limbs movement disorders. Through disassembly and combination of the mechanical arms, it can provide different training modes and therapeutic schemes. The adoption of computer network technology allows the patients to accomplish rehabilitation according to the settings of the physicians via internet; the applications of virtual reality technology greatly raise the enthusiasm in patients and improve the rehabilitation effect remarkably.The experimental results show that the system has good applicability and safety.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between blood lipid level and low birth weight infants in late pregnancy.Methods:Data of 303 low birth weight newborns delivered in ShengJing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University were collected from January 2018 to February 2020, and 303 cases of full-term normal birth weight infants delivered in our hospital during the same period (birth weight 2500 ~ 3999 g) for retrospective study.The general situation of puerpera was analyzed, including age, gestational age, times of pregnancy, times of labor, weight growth during pregnancy, pre pregnancy body mass index, and blood lipid indexes of puerpera within one week before termination of pregnancy, including triglyceride, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, apolipoprotein A, apolipoprotein B.Results:The normal birth weight group was (31.60±3.90) years old, the weight gain during pregnancy was (16.29±5.31) kg, and the triglyceride levels was(3.21±1.33) mmol/L.The low birth weight group was (30.30±4.65) years old, the weight gain during pregnancy was (14.45±8.08) kg, and the triglyceride level was(2.88±1.37) mmol/L, and there were differences between groups( P<0.01). In the low term birth weight group, birth weight was negatively correlated with maternal age ( r=-0.24, P=0.01), positively correlated with gestational age ( r=0.24, P=0.02), and negatively correlated with pregnancy weight gain ( r=-0.26, P<0.01), and was positively correlated with triglyceride ( r=0.15, P=0.01) and total cholesterol ( r=0.20, P<0.01). Conclusion:The incidence of full-term low birth weight infants is closely related to the blood lipid level, age, gestational age at delivery and the growth of body weight during pregnancy.

Objective To investigate the application of statins in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke and transient ischemic attacks (TIA) in different risk groups,and to identify the factors influencing the compliance of statins. Methods Data were prospectively collected on consecutively encountered ischemic stroke or TIA patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from April 2009 to January 2010.All clinical characteristics and possible factors influencing the compliance of statins were collected; the application of statins was investigated at 3-month follow-up.The multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used for the analysis of influence factors of the compliance of statins.Results All 369 patients were collected,52.8％ of cases were prescribed statins for therapy during hospitalization.The application rate of statins in accordance with guidelines in high-risk group,extremely high-risk Ⅱ group and extremely high-risk Ⅰ group was 25.0％ (16/64),44.1％ (30/68) and 71.4％ (135/189),respectively. Logistic regression analysis showed that the statins application during hospitalization was associated with diabetes history ( P =0.032,OR =1.789,95％ CI 1.052-3.043 ) and the presence of carotid vulnerable plaques(P =0.000,OR =5.308,95％ CI 3.340-8.434).The general application rate of statins was 22.3％ (81/363),which was significantly lower than that during hospitalization. The application rate of statins in accordance with guidelines in high-risk group,extremely high-risk Ⅱ group and extremely high-risk Ⅰ group was 9.7％ ( 6/62 ),25.8％ (17/66) and 29.4％ (55/187) respectively.Logistic regression analysis showed that good compliance of statins was associated with discharge instructions on statins application ( P =0.000,OR =34.852,95％ CI 14.673-175.452 ). Conclusions The compliance of statins in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke and TIA is poor,and there is still a large gap between clinical practice and guidelines; Discharge instructions on statins application increase the compliance of statins.

Objective Evaluating the effect of situational questions for qualifying the students'abilities in physiolo-gy examination .Methods Comparing the difficulty coefficients and discrimination indexes between situational and traditional choice questions .Results Compared with the traditional choice questions , the difficulty coefficient of situational questions increased , while the discrimination indexes were more reasonable .The discrimination indexes of situational understanding questions were higher than those of the traditional memory and understanding questions . There were no difference between discrimination indexes of the situational application questions and those of tradi -tional application questions .Conclusions Situational questions not only improved the quality of examinations , but also facilitate evaluating students'learning ability .

Objective To evaluate the relationship between placental expression of Gab1 and neonatal birth weight in mothers with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).Methods From the singleton and full-term cesarean delivered women in Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University between October 2014 and May 2015,30 macrosomia babies with maternal GDM were selected as GDM macrosomia group,30 cases of GDM with normal neonatal birth weight as GDM normal group,30 cases without GDM but with macrosomia as normal macrosomia group,and 30 cases without GDM and with normal neonatal birth weight as the normal control group.Gab1 protein and mRNA expression in placentas were detected using immunohistochemistry,Western blot and real-time quantitative-polymerase chain reaction.Analysis of variance,LSD,Dunnett's T3,Chi-square test and Pearson's correlation analysis were used for statistical analysis.Results (1) Gab 1 protein location and positive expression rate:Gab 1 protein expression in human placenta tissue was located in the nucleus.The positive epression rate of Gab 1 protein in the GDM macrosomia group was higher than in the GDM normal group and normal macrosomia group [93％(28/30),73％(22/30) vs 73％(22/30)] and those in the normal macrosomia group and GDM normal group were higher than in the normal control group[47％(14/30)](x2=4.320,4.320,4.444 and 4.444,all P＜0.05).(2) The expression levels of Gabl protein and mRNA:The expression level of Gab1 protein in the GDM macrosomia group was higher than in the GDM normal group and normal macrosomia group (1.43 ± 0.58 vs 1.05 ± 0.67 and 0.95± 0.59),and that in the normal macrosomia group and GDM normal group were higher than in the normal control group (0.64±0.38) (LSD test,all P＜0.05).The expression levels of Gab1 mRNA showed the same trend as the expression levels of Gab1 protein in the four groups.(3) Gab 1 protein expression level was positively associated with neonatal birth weight (r=0.320,P=0.320).Conclusions The expression of Gab1 in placenta is involved in the regulation of birth weight in GDM mothers.

To evaluate in vitro release and transdermal behaviors of Huoxue Zhitong gel, modified Franz diffusion cell methods was applied to investigate in vitro transdermal absorption of Huoxue Zhitong gel and the content of paeonolan in receptor fluid composed of PEG400%-95% ethanol-water (l:3:6)were determined by HPLC. The results were processed and different equations were fitted. The release law were in accordance with Weibull equation and the fitting equation was In[-1/(1 - Q)] = -0.790 51nt - 1.7012 (r = 0.9809). In 8 hours, cumulative release of paeonol was 85. 18% and the release rate was 2.827 µg . cm-2 h-1. Transdermal actions were consistent with zero-level model fit and the fitting equation was Q(t) = 1.7579t + 0. 7213 (r = 0.9991). In 8 hours, cumulative transdermal rate and transmission rate of paeonol was 54. 85%, 1. 820 µg . cm-2 h-1. So the Huoxue Zhitong gel had a good release and transdermal properties.

Persistant infection of high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) is the primary cause leading to cervical cancer, which is ranked as second cancer threatening the health of women following breast cancer.Development of HPV vaccine is very important because there is no effective therapeutics for cervical cancer.Three currently licensed HPV vaccines based on major capsid protein L1 in the foreign market confered good safety and efficacy in clinical trials, but the current price is expensive due to high cost, which limits the wide application in developing countries.So far, the vaccines have not been launced in China market.Here, we review the progress and the current status of the HPV vaccine, which will attract the readers’ interest on the forthcoming emergence of HPV vaccine in China.
