Objective The study aimed to evaluate the effects of web-problem-based learning (WPBL) in the application of Fundamental Nursing. Methods The sample was purposively selected.172 students in School of Nursing in Tianjin were recruited as the control group (n=83) and the intervention group (n=89).Traditional teaching method and WPBL was implemented in the control group and the intervention group, respectively. The teaching effectiveness of the two groups was measured by the examination and learning initiative evaluation scale and the teaching effect evaluation questionnaire, and the teaching satisfaction questionnaire was implemented among the intervention group.SPSS 18.0 was used and t test was performed to analyze the comparison between groups. Results In the theoretical examination, the scores of comprehensive analysis of the nursing students in the intervention group were better than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).In the evaluation of active learning after school, the scores of control learning in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ([14.78 ± 2.16),vs.(13.58 ± 2.16),t=-3.58,P=0.000].83 effective questionnaires of intervention group nursing students' teaching satisfaction were recovered.73 of them (88%) thought that WPBL could improve the students' ability of independent learning,71 students (85.5%) found that WPBL could enhance the ability of information processing,73 students (88%) thought they could communicate well with their classmates in WPBL and cooperate well to complete the task. Conclusion WPBL which is on the basis of PBL and make full use of the network, could promote the ability of autonomous learning, information processing and communication with classmates and good cooperation, but in the application process,it needs teachers to organize reasonably, perfect the supervision mechanism, and reduce taking up students' spare time.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of atorvastatin calcium on the carotid intima-media thickness(IMT)and other related indicators in patients with metabolic syndrome(MS). METHODS:The data of 1 444 patients with MS were retrospectively analyzed and randomly divided into observation group(874 cases)and control group(570 cases)by different medication. All patients were given healthy lifestyle, antihypertensive, hypoglycemia and lowering blood lipid guidance. On this basis, treatment group was orally given atorvastatin calcium 20 mg,once every evening. The follow-up was conducted for 3 years. The clinic data in 2 groups was compared, including body mass index(BMI),waist circumference(WC),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure (DBP),pulse pressure(PP),IMT,total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low conspired lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment. RESULTS:After treatment, compared with before and control group, the BMI、WC、SBP、DBP、PP、IMT、TC、TG、LDL-C、HDL-C、hs-CRP and FPG in observation group were significantly improved, only TG、LDL-C and HDL-C in control group were significantly improved, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions during treatment. CONCLUSIONS:Based on the conventional treatment, atorvastatin calcium can effectively improve the IMT and blood lipid, blood pressure and blood glucose of patients with MS,with good safety.

Objective To study the effect and mechanism of Anchusa italica Retz on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion inju-ry in rats based on the target network of active compounds in Anchusa italica Retz. Methods The rat model of cerebral ische-mia-reperfusion injury was established by the thread occlusion method. After performing ischemia for 1.5 h and then reperfusion for 24 h,the neurological function of rats was scored and the volume of cerebral infarction was measured by the 2,3,5-triphenyltet-razolium chloride staining method. The molecular network analysis technique of network pharmacology,protein-protein interaction network, gene ontology(GO)enrichment analysis,KEGG signal pathway analysis, and molecular docking was used to study the mechanism of Anchusa italica Retz in the treatment of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. Results The administration of An-chusa italica Retz could significantly improve the neurobehavioral dysfunction caused by cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and reduce the pathological injury of brain tissue.Anchusa italica Retz could regulate inflammation, apoptosis, protein phosphorylation, and other biological processes through 143 ischemic stroke-related targets, and interfere with the TNF signal pathway,VEGF signal pathway,HIF-1 signal pathway, and other pathways. Conclusion Network pharmacology and experimental verification had shown that Anchusa italica Retz could effectively reduce brain injury and protect neurological function through multi-target,multi-mechanism,and holistic treatment of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.
