1.Effects of Nursing with Syndrome Differentiation and Conventional Western Medicine on Perioperative Patients with Breast Cancer
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(3):279-280
Objective To observe effects of integrated western and Chinese nursing on postoperative complications of breast cancer. Methods 53 patients with breast cancer who were treated with radical mastectomy, were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine nursing, and the treatment group was treated with syndrome differentiation nursing based on the control group. The postoperative complication of two groups was observed. Results The postoperative complication of the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group. Conclusion Integrated western and Chinese nursing of perioperative patients with breast cancer, can reduce complications and improve quality of life of patients.
2.Nursing of 56 Cases of Perioperative Pailents with Rectal Cancer
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(1):87-
Objective To observe the eriects of integrated traditional Chinese and western medical nursing on postoperative complications of rectal cancer. Methods 56 patients with rectal cancer treated with Miles operation were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was nursed with conventional western medicine, and the treatment group was nursed according to syndrome differentiation of TCM plus conventional western medicine. Results The postoperative complications of the treatment group were significantly fewer than the control group. Conclusion Integrated traditional Chinese and western nursing of perioperative patients with rectal cancer can reduce complications and improve quality of life of patients.

Objective: To investigate the effect and mechanism of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) pretreatment for reducing myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury in experiment rats.
Methods: Rat’s myocardial I/R model was established by left anterior descending artery ligation for 30min followed-by reperfusion for 180 min. The rats were divided into 5 groups:Sham operation group, I/R group and IR with BDNF pretreatment (1, 10, 100) nmol/(kg·ml) groups respectively. The LVSP, LVEDP, ±dp/dtmax were recorded after I/R;serum levels of LDH, CK and the cardiac tissue levels of MDA, SOD were examined;the ratios of left ventricular myocardial infarction area in different groups were observed by by Evans blue staining;cell apoptosis rates were evaluated by Tunel staining;the total-TrkB and p-TrkB in myocardium were detected by Western-blot analysis.
Result: Compared with I/R group, in 3 IR with BDNF pretreatment groups, LVSP, ±dp/dtmax were gradually increasing and LVEDP were gradually decreasing, all P<0.05;the leaking levels of LDH, CK and the content of MDA were gradually decreasing and the SOD activity was gradually increasing, all P<0.05;the average ratios of MI area/ischemic area were decreased from (47.54 ± 6.35)%to (28.68 ± 4.56)%, the apoptosis rates decreased from (37.89 ± 5.46)%to (10.24 ± 3.05)%, the level of p-trkB/Total-TrkB increased from (0.16 ± 0.03) to (0.42 ± 0.03), P<0.05.
Conclusion: BDNF pretreatment could maintain the cardiac function in experiment rats after I/R injury, it may reduce MI area, decrease oxidative damage and apoptosis, therefore, protect myocardial cells for reducing IR injury.

0.998 8).The minimum detection limit were 0.1~0.4 mg?L-1.The average recovery rates were no less than 96%(RSD≤7.19%).There were significant difference among the concentration of Ara-C and Ara-U in plasma, cerebrospinal fluid and testicular tissue.Ara-C in plasma hadn't been determined in low-dose group and medium-dose group except for Ara-U.CONCLUSIONS: The method is simple, rapid, accurate and reproducible for plasma concentration monitoring and pharmacokinetic study of Ara-C and Ara-U.

Objective To explore the influence of individualized nursing intervention on cancer-related fatigue in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with radiotherapy. Methods 60 pa-tients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were randomly divided into control group and intervention group with 30 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing while the inter-vention group implemented individualized nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The individualized nursing intervention included psychological intervention on patients, cognitive intervention, emotional, complications of intervention and behavior intervention. And fatigue and quality of life index of patients in the two groups were compared. Results Cancer-related fatigue in the intervention group was significantly less than that in the control group and the quality of life is higher than that in the control group. Conclusion Individualized nursing intervention could ef-fectively reduce cancer-related fatigue and improve the quality of life in patients.
