Objective To investigate diagnostic approaches of cervical glandular intraepithelial neoplasia (CGIN) for improving the diagnostic levels of CGIN.Methods Clinical data of 106 cases with CGIN admitted in hospital from Jan.2008 to Dec.2010 were analyzed retrospectively.All data from preoperative thin-prep cytologic test (TCT),cervical biopsies and postoperative pathological examination of the excised cervical tissues were reviewed.Results Among 106 patients,62 cases (58.5％,62/106) were low grade CGIN (L-CGIN),44 cases (41.5％,44/106) were high grade CGIN (H-CGIN) ; 25 cases (23.6％,25/106) were pure CGIN and 81 cases (76.4％,81/106) were CGIN mixed with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN).Fifteen cases (14.2％,15/106) were found atypical glandular cell (AGC)by TCT..In the 15 cases,there were 4 cases (6.5％,4/62) L-CGIN,and 11 cases (25.0％,11/44)H-CGIN,there was significant difference between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05) ; among 15 cases with AGC,11 cases of them (44.0％,11/25) were pure CGIN,4 cases (4.9％,4/81) mixed with CIN,in which there were significant difference (P ＜0.01).Seven cases (25.0％,7/28) were detected glandular lesions in 28 cases by endocervical curettage (ECC).Totally 23 cases (22.8％,23/101) were detected CGIN by colposcopy-directed biopsy,11 cases (19.0％,11/58) were with L-CGIN,12 cases (27.9％,12/43)H-CGIN,there was no significant difference between them (P ＞ 0.05).Among the 23 cases,13 eases(52.0％,13/25) were pure CGIN,10 cases (12.3％,10/81) CGIN mixed with CIN,which showed significant difference (P ＜ 0.01).All 106 patients were treated,101 cases treated with cervical conization and 5 cases performed hysterectomy; 23 cases were diagnosed CGIN preoperation,the ratio of preoperative diagnosis was 21.7％ (23/106),83 cases (80.3％,83/106) diagnosed postoperatively.Conclusions Routine diagnostic methods of CGIN were not satisfaction,most CGIN were diagnosed after cervical resection.Cervical conization may play a very important role in diagnosis of CGIN.The positivity of TCT in H-CGIN was higher than L-CGIN.There was no different in diagnosing different CGIN grades by colposcopy-directed biopsy.The ratio of preoperative diagnosis of pure CGIN was higher than those with CGIN mixed with CIN.

AIM: To determine the effects of valsartan on calcium channel and sodium-calcium exchanger current in isolated ventricular myocytes of congestive heart failure (CHF) rats. METHODS: Eight weeks after coronary ligation, the rats with heart failure were confirmed by measuring the hemodynamic parameters and divided randomly into the group treating with valsartan (CHF-T, 20 mg/kg) and placebo (CHF-C). Sham-operated group rats served as negative controls (PS). Twelve weeks later, 6 rats were selected randomly for the study of ion channel. Single ventricular myocytes of rats were isolated by enzymatic dissociation. The whole-cell patch-clamp recording technique was used to record calcium channel current and sodium-calcium exchanger current. RESULTS: (1) In the hemodynamic variables, HR and blood pressure were not significantly different in three groups. Compared CHF-C with PS group, LVEDP and Cm increased, LVSP and ?d p /d t max decreased ( P 0 05). (4) Na +-Ca 2+ exchanger current in CHF-C group increased significantly. Na +-Ca 2+ exchanger current in CHF-T group was smaller significantly than that in CHF-C group. However, CHF-T group and PS group were not significantly different. CONCLUSION: Administration of valsartan is effective in preventing from cardiac function deterioration, increases calcium channel current and decreases Na +-Ca 2+ exchanger current in ventricular myocytes of heat failure rats.

Objective To know the postnatal depression and anxiety state and its related factors of parturients from migrant worker family,and then reference to certain nursing counter-measures. Methods Sampled 73 parturients by spontaneous labor from migrant worker family and 45 local matched parturients,interviewed them by SAS and SDS to know their postnatal depression and anxiety state,and then analyzed the datum between them. Results The level of postnatal depression and anxiety in parturients from migrant worker family was significant higher than that in local parturienta.Different level of depression and anxiety was existed in different parturients from migrant worker family by different educational attainments,different family type and different financial state. Conclusions The state of postnatal depression and anxiety in parturients from migrant worker family is severely,related health education should be strengthened,associated social secu-rity and support system should be established to help them release their unhealthy emotion.

Objective To enhance the cognition about the adult contagious atypical pneumonia for an expectation of earlier diagnosis, prevention and treatment.Methods We analyzed and summarized X-ray lung and clinical characteristics of 34 patients with contagious atypical pneumonias who were admitted to our hospital from Feb to April. 2003.Results X-ray findings of lung were characterized by mostly involving unilateral and presenting ill defined cloud or patches-form opacities. These lesions progressed and varied rapidly. The clinical manifestations were characterized by the onset of fever (34/34), mostly associated with systemic and joint aching pains (29/34) and dry coughs (29/34). Leucocyte counts showed normal or lower than normal. Patient with a continuing high fever might tend to develop ARDS (2/34). All the 34 patients recovered after combined therapies (anti-inflammation, anti-virus and promoting immunity ) and were discharged from hospital. The average in-hospital days were (10.6?4.2) days. Conclusion X-ray examination is the main method for the early diagnosis and observing state-variation. The predominant clinical features of this disease are fever, dry cough, aching pain in extremities, unconspicuous pulmonary signs as well as hemogram not rising, a continuing high fever may lead to the tendency of ARDS.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of antioxygen reaction of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) in renal tubular epithelial cells of rats with oxidative stress induced by H2O2. Methods Cultured cells were divided into control group, H2O2 group and EGCG group. Cell survival was observed with MTT. The expressions of Nrf2 mRNA and -γ-GCS mRNA in cultured cells were examined by real time quantitative PCR. Immunohistochemistry and western blotting were used to detecte the expressions of Nrf2 and γ-GCS protein. Results The survival rate of tubular cells was 97. 61 ± 6.33 in control group. There was a significant decrease in H2 O2 group (56. 38 ± 5.57) (P < 0.01), while increased when the EGCG concentration were 5,10,20 mg/L(77.42 ±5.31,83.27 ±5.94,90.24 ±5.72) (P <0.05,P <0.01). EGCG up-regulated the expressions of Nrf2 and γ-GCS mRNA and protein in renal tubular epithelial cells with dose depen-dentment. Conclusion The expressions of Nrf2 and-γ-GCS increase in renal tubular epithelial cells with oxidative stress. Resulting from suppression of oxidative stress,EGCG exerts protective effect on NRK,and this antioxidative effect may be partly induced by activating the Nrf2 signal pathway.

Abstract Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is the most common spinal deformity. With increasing incidence in recent years, it has become an important public health problem threatening the health of adolescents. Adolescence is an important period for accelerated human growth and development, and endocrine hormones will change significantly during this period. Studies have shown that melatonin, estrogen, vitamin D and leptin are closely related to the production and development of scoliosis. Exploring the role of endocrine hormones in the pathogenesis of AIS can provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of AIS.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between aged diabetes mellitus and cognitive impairment in community elders.Method 308 type Ⅱ diabetic patients, including 225 diabetes patients and 164 diabetes with hypertension patients, were random selected in our study. 225 hypertension and 186 healthy elders were random selected as controls. Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) was tested on each case. According to DSM-IV, all participants were classified into three groups ( normal, MCI and dementia) .Result MMSE scores in diabetes patients were lower than that in healthy controls(25. 87±3.33 vs 26. 86 ±2. 82, F = 9.62, P < 0. 01), and scores in diabetes with hypertension group (24. 68 ±4. 36 ) were much lower than that in healthy controls ( F =37. 16, P <0.01). Conclusion Senile diabetes were positive correlated with cognitive impairment. Diabetes were a risk factor of dementia in seniles. Diabetes with hypertension can increase cognitive impairment in community elders.

Activity of IL-1 produced by peripheral blood monocytes stimulated with lipopolysaccharide in vitro was detected from 17 acute cases, 14 chronic cases and 19 advanced cases of schistosomiasis japonica. It was found that the level of IL-1 was significantly increased and positively related to the body tempereture in the group with acute schistosomiasis. The activity of IL-1 was statistically reduced in the chronic and advanced groups, especially in the latter. After inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandin with indomethacin, the level of IL-1 was significantly increased in three groups of patients, but no apparent change in the normal contro group. The results indicate that IL-1 may play an important role in inducing the inflammatory reaction in patients with acute schistosomiasis japonica and in the immunoregulation in the chronic stage. The changes of IL-1 activity in patients with schistosomiasis japonica may be closely related to prostaglandin.

Objective To explore the effect of NPY on activation of primary microglia and the production of in?terleukin-1β. Methods Rat primary cortical microglia was cultured and divided into control group, LPS group, NPY+LPS group, NPY group and BIBP3226+NPY+LPS group. Microglia in control group were incubated with serum-free me?dium for 6 h;microglia in LPS group were incubated with serum-free medium plus LPS for 6 h;microglia in NPY+LPS group were incubated with serum-free medium plus NPY and LPS for 6 h; microglia cells in NPY group were incubat?ed in serum-free medium plus NPY for 6 h; microglia cells in BIBP3226+NPY+LPS group were incubated in se?rum-free medium including BIBP3226 、NPY and LPS for 6 h. After 6 h , Primary cultured microglia were stained us?ing IBA-1 antibody and examined under the fluorescence microscope. The protein levels of IL-1βin the culture media and the mRNA expression levels of IL-1βin the microglia of different groups were detected using the methods of Elisa and RT-PCR. Results After 6 h, the contents of IL-1 βin the culture media and the mRNA expression levels of IL-1βin the cells of LPS group increased remarkably compared with control group (P<0.05) and the microglia were activat? ed. Compared with LPS group, the contents of IL-1 βin the culture media. the mRNA expression levels of IL-1β and the activity of microglia in LPS+NPY group were significantly decreased .Compared with LPS+NPY group, the contents of IL-1βin the culture media. the mRNA expression levels of IL-1β and the activity of microglia in BIBP3226+NPY+LPS group were increased (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the contents of IL-1βin the culture media. the mRNA expression levels of IL-1βand the activity of microglia between BIBP3226+NPY+LPS group and LPS group or between NPY group and the control group. Conclusion NPY can inhibit the biological activity of microglia and IL-1βproduction through NPY Y1 receptorin the microglia.
