Objective To investigate the application of Computed tomography perfusion imaging (CTP) in superficial temporal artery-middle cerebral artery bypass(STA-MAC) treated moyamoya disease (MMD).Methods The clinical data of 21 patients with MMD who received STA-MAC surgery were collected.CTP was performed before and after the surgery for all the patients included.We routinely delimited the corresponding position as regions of interest (ROI) and obtained value of the cerebral blood flow(CBF),cerebral blood volume(CBV),the mean transittime(MTT),time to peak(TTP).The deviations of rCBF,rCBV,rMTT,rTTP between the affected side and corresponding area were analysed and the paired t test was performed.Results Unobstructed blood flow was observed in all patients received STA-MAC surgery after DSA examination.Increased CBF was observed in 100％ patients and increased CBV in 80.95％ patients,shortened MMT in 80.95 ％ patients,shortened TTP in 85.71％ patients.Difference of CBF,CBV,MTT,r-CBF,rMTT between pre-and post-Operation had statistical significance (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion CTP is important in elucidating the hemodynamic changes before and after STA-MCA bypass,which indicts a crucial role in evaluating therapeutic effect of surgical treatment for MMD.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of DEK and Hpa infection in uterine cervical carcinogenisis.Methods Formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded samples including 45 cases of squamous cell carcinomas,25 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CINⅢ,and 20 cases of CINI-Ⅱ,10 cases of normal cervical tissues were studied using polymer detection system for immunohistochemical technique to examine the expression of DEK and Hpa.Results The positive ratios of DEK in cancer tissues,normal cervical intraepithelial lesions,normal cervical tissues positive rates were 88.9％,24.4％,10.0％,respectively.The positive ratio of expressions of DEK in cervical carcinomas was significantly higher than CIN and normal cervical tissues (x2 =38.054,P ＜0.01 ;x2 =5.774,P ＜0.05).The positive ratios of expressions of Hpa in normal cervical tissues,CIN and cervical cancers were 75.6％,24.4％ and 10.0％,respectively.The positive ratio of expressions of Hpa in cervical carcinomas was significantly higher than CIN and normal cervical tissues ( x2 =31.69,P ＜ 0.01 ; x2 =12.94,P ＜ 0.01 ).The expression of DEK and Hpa in cervical lesions was highly related in the cervical cancer tissues( r =0.617,P =0.001 ).Conclusions DEK and Hpa possibly played an important role in the development of cervical cancer.Cervical intraepithelial lesions and cervical carcinoma might be associated with changes in the expression of DEK and Hpa,and interact together to influence the development of CIN and cervical cancer.

Objective Through summaring all the randomized controlled trials published in Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion during the last 30 years,to investigate clinical researching situation of acupuncture in home and to provide objective and reliable data for other researchers.Methods All clinical research papers published in Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion from 1981-2010 was categorized and scored accordingto the size of sample,methods of grouping,and having or not having international or national diagnostic criteria,and then made a comprehensive analysis and comparison.Results ① RCT articles published in Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion has increased annually.②The methods of grouping has become more and more normative,which indicates that the level of RCT has been elevated.Of them,randmon digital table has been put into use the most frequently.Conclusion The quality of acupuncture clinical research papers are improving continuously,but the descriptions of the process need to be standardized.

Objective The cell proliferation, cell cycle, apoptosis and the impact of senescence after RNAi were performed. This research provided a theoretical and experimental basis of the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. Methods According to DEK nucleotide sequence in G enebank, 56 nt o1igonucleotide fragment containing specific target DEK sequence was designed with computer software, and the fragnent was synthesized and cloned into the eukaryotic expressed plasmid vector psiRNA-hH ineo.Then it was transfected into CaSki cells by lipofectamine. DEK mRNA and protein expression were detected to verify the gene silence effect by RT-PCR and Western blot analysis. CaSki cell proliferative inhibition rates were accessed by MTT assay at the 48th hour after DEK siRNA transfection, at the same time cell cycle and cell apoptosis were analyzed by flow cytometry, and SA - β-galactosidase enzyme cytochemiatry was used to identify cell senescence. Results DEK mRNA and protein expression was significantly reduced in psiRNA- hHDEK transfected CaSki cells(0. 28 ±0. 02). Cell proliferation was decreased, cell cycle was inhibited, and cell apoptosis and senescent cells were increased afar DEK gene was silenced. Concluslon DEK siRNA eukaryotic expression vector was successfully constructed and DEK gene expression of CaSki cells was effectively silenced. DEK gene silencing could induce CaSki cells into apoptosis and senescence.DEK gene played an important role in the occurrence and evolution of cervical cancer, which was not only a senescence suppressor gene but also an apeptosis suppressor gene.

Objective:To assess the clinical efficacy of two different diameter Osstem MS one-stage implant restoration of small edentu-lous space in the mandibular anterior region.Methods:85 patients were treated by Osstem MS one-stage implant with the diameter of 2.5 mm(n =66)and 3.0 mm(n =66)respectively for the restoration of small edentulous space in mandibular anterior region.The mesi-al and distal marginal bone level and soft tissue were statistically analyzed after 1 2 and 24 months of functional load.The implant survival rate was evaluated according to Wheeler's survival criteria.Results:The survival rate of the implants was 1 00%.The mean changes in marginal bone level(mm)on the mesial side of 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm diameter implants were 0.275 ±0.638 and 0.098 ±0.31 9,distal aspects were 0.360 ±0.588 and 0.1 09 ±0.323 after 1 2 months of functional load;while 0.299 ±0.672 and 0.099 ±0.31 8,0.381 ± 0.581 and 0.1 07 ±0.31 9 after 24 months of functional load.The mesial and distal marginal bone loss of 2.5 mm diameter implant was greater than that of 3.0 mm after 1 2 and 24 months of functional load(P <0.05).No significant change on the marginal bone level was found aomog the same diameter implants from 1 2 to 24 month observation(P >0.05).No relevant complication of peri-implant soft tissue was shown.Conclusion:Favorable clinical effects including function and aesthetics can be achieved by Osstem MS one-stage implant with the diameter of 2.5 mm or 3.0 mm for the restoration of small edentulous space in the mandibular anterior region,however,the mar-ginal bone loss was greater around 2.5 mm diameter implant.

Objective To compare the effects of desflurane and sevoflurane on somatosensory evoked potentials (SEP) in patients undergoing spine neurosurgery. Methods Thirty patients with ASA grades I-Ⅱand undergoing spinal deformity orthopaedic surgery were selected and divided into two groups: desflurane group and sevoflurane group (n=30) . Bispectral index (BIS),the state of muscle relaxation, SEP and hemodynamics were monitored during operation. By maintaining the BIS in the range of 35-45,the state of muscle relaxation disappeared and hemodynamic became stable. Adjust the concentration of anesthetic step by step from 0 to 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 maximum alveolar concentrations (MAC), then inhaled different concentrations of drugs. Record the incubation period and amplitude of SEP before inhaling anesthetics (based on the value), in the moment of achieving each inhaled concentration ( T1, T2 and T3) , and the moment that the inhaled anesthetics blows completely (regression value) . The percentages of T1, T2, T3, and the regression value compared with basic value were calculated.Results Compared with the basic value, T1, T2 and T3 of left arm, left leg and right leg in desflurane group, T2 and T3 of right arm in desflurane group, T2 and T3 of left arm, left leg and right arm in sevoflurane group,and T2 and T3 of right leg in sevoflurane group showed incubation period delaying ( <0.05) . And the incubation period extended along with the increase of inhaled anesthetics dosage. Compared with the basic value,T1,T2 and T1 of left arm and left leg in desflurane group,T1 of right arm in desflurane group, T1 and T2 of right leg in desflurane, T3 of left arm in sevoflurane group, T1 and T3 in left leg in sevoflurane group had decreased amplitude ( < 0.05), especially T1. Compared with desflurane, sevoflurane showed a weaker inhibition effect on the incubation period and amplitude of T1,T2,T3 of left arm and left leg,T2 and T3 of right arm and right leg, and the amplitude of T1 of right leg ( < 0.05) . Conclusion Both of desflurane and sevoflurane have inhibition effect on SEP. The inhibition effect gradually strengthens along with the increasing of dose. The inhibition effect of desflurane is stronger than sevoflurane.

Objective To explore the effects of aerobic exercise and resistance training on center arterial blood pressure.Methods Fifteen healthy men who had not practiced aerobic exercise or resistance training within the previous 6 months were enrolled in this study.A self-matched pairs design was adopted.All of the subjects performed moderate intensity aerobic exercise,for 30 min initially,and after 2 weeks,performed resistance training at 60％ of their l-repeat maximum effort (1-RM).Their central aortic systolic blood pressure (CSBP) before and after aerobic exercise and resistance training were measured and compared,respectively.The changes in CSBP and an augmentation index (AI) of radial artery and relative blood pressure were compared between the two interventions.Results CSBP decreased significantly after both sorts of training.The two types of training showed no significant difference in their effects on CSBP.However,after a 20 min recovery,systolic blood pressure and pulse pressure were significantly lower after aerobic exercise than after resistance training.The significant difference persisted after 20 min and 40 min of re-covery.The AI of the radial artery was also significantly lower 5 min after aerobic exercise than after resistance train-ing.Conclusions After moderate aerobic exercise and resistance training,CBSP,AI and systolic pressure all display favorable changes.However,moderate intensity aerobic exercise provides the better effect in improving blood pressure.

Objective The study examined the influence on marginal bone levers at implants which implants were assigned to open healing and implant-abutment connection restored according to a platform-switching concept. Methods One implant were placed in the first molar of mandible of 48 patients , randomly assigned to open (OH) or submerge (SH) healing. Standardized radiographs were obtained after implant surgery, when implant transfer and crown mounting, and 6 ,12 and 24 months after implants restoration, then evaluated for implant-bone-lever alterations(ΔIBL). Results After 6 months after implants restoration,ΔIBL were (-0.25 ± 0.08)mm mm(OH)and (-0.26 ± 0.12)mm(SH). After 12 months follow-up, ΔIBL were (-0.29 ± 0.13)mm (OH)and (-0.31 ± 0.14) mm(SH), and after 24 months later, ΔIBLwere (-0.34 ± 0.15)mm(OH)and (-0.33 ± 0.11)mm (SH). Conclusions Platform-switched implants showed very limited peri-implant bone-lever alterations. The healing-mode neither affected the total amount nor the temporal patterns of ΔIBL.

Objective To observe the effects of 510. 6nm laser irradiation on the apoptosis rate of vascularendothelial cell and smooth muscle cell in rabbit. Methods After the abdominal aorta of rabbits were irradiated bydifferent dosages of copper vapor laser (100mW/cm~2?500s, 100mW/cm~2?1 000s, 150mW/cm~2?500s, 200mW/cm~2?500s, 200mW/cm~2?1 000s, 100mW/cm~2?500s), the apoptosis rate of vascular endothelial cells andsmooth muscle cells was detected by use of TUNEL staining. Results The apoptosis rate of vascular smooth musclecell in each laser group was 21. 2%, 24. 5%, 30. 8%, 37. 3%, and 34. 5% respectively, while that was 3. 4% inthe control group and there was significant difference between control group and each laser group (P 0. 05, respectively). Conclusion The irradiation of copper vapor laser would induce ahigh rate of apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle cell, while had no significant effect on endothelial cell at the same sit-uation.
