OBJECTIVE:Discussion on the improvement of pharmaceutical enterprises competence by the practice of sup?ply chain management(SCM)in China.METHODS:Combing current situation,to analyse the requirement for the practice of SCM in China.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:It will be the key of raising the competence of pharmaceutical enterprises in China to establish integrating idea,optimize the system of SCM,reform the flow channel of pharmaceutical commodities and establish new system of assessment.

OBJECTIVE:To discuss problems concerning the current sampling test of drugs in China.METHODS:The rationality of the current drug sampling test method was analyzed empirically according to the theory of sampling test.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:The current drug sampling test method is far from perfect and by which the quality of drugs was unable to be effectively controlled.It is recommended that drug monitoring institutions should work out more scientific sampling test scheme so as to ensure the quality of drugs.

Objective To investigate the evaluation of the employing hospital about nursing undergraduate students,to understand the actual working capacity of graduates and explore the quality requirement and individual needs of nuring undergraduates according to the findings,to improve the quality of nursing undergraduates and personnel training specifications.Methods The self-evaluation questionnaires on nursing undergraduates was used to investigate eight hospitals which accepted three or more graduates of our college by letter investigation.Results The employing hospital had the highest satisfaction degree on the moral character and working attitude,respectively 98.1%and 96.2%;the satisfaction degree of management and research capability was the lowest,respectively 81.0%and 80.0%. Conclusions Overall assessment of the quality of graduates is better,the graduates' clinical competence,interpersonal relations and psychological quality is satisfactory,nursing skills and adaptability should be improved;foreign language,scientific research,administration and management capacity is rehtively weak.In the future,the college should adapt to the reeds of employers in the teaching process,strengthening the training of practical ability and adaptability,using appropriate methods to enhance research and foreign language skills,appropriately adjust training goal of undergraduates.

OBJECTIVE:To analyse the advantages and disvantages of split tablets given to in-patients.METHODS:We collected13kinds of oral tablets(10tablets each kind and260pieces of the split tablet altogether),which were often splitted by pharmaceutists.We tested and analysed the weight variation of the split tablet on the basis of the dosage consistency metioned in the USP which is applied to the whole tablet.RESULTS:None of the13kinds of prescription drug passed the consistent testing after splitting.There was some relationship between the effect of the split tablet and its shape.It was relatively easy to break off the tablet with nick in half.The loss of dosage inevitably occurred during the process of splitting the tablet.CONCLUSION:Breaking off the tablet in half led to high ratio of weight variation.The modus operandi of splitting the tablet in half for saving expenses can only be applied to those drugs with low toxicities and relatively flat dose-effect curve.In the case of those drugs which bear high toxicities and steep dose-effect curve,carefulness should always be taken when applying such method.

Objective To detect the changes of function of blood-aqueous barrier in different Syndrome stages of patients with Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) syndrome in order to provide the appropriate therapy. Methods According to clinical manifestation, 77 patients (144 eyes) with VKH syndrome were divided into 4 groups: 10 cases in posterior uvietis stage group (20 eyes), 27 in anterior uveal involvement stage group (50 eyes), 23 in recurrent anterior uvitis stage group (41 eyes), and 17 in convalescent stage group (33 eyes). The other 50 cases (100 eyes) were in the control group. Flare and cells of anterior chamber in patient with VKH Syndrome at different stages were graded and measured by laser flare and cell meter (LFCM) and slitlamp microscope. Results According to the results of slitlamp biomicroscopy, anterior chamber flare and cells were at the 0 grade in the patients at posterior uvietis stage (20 eyes). The results of LFCM examination revealed that the flare value and cells were (9.7?3.4) pc/ms and (0.9?0.6)/0.5 mm3 in posterior uvietis stage group, and (5.3?2.3) pc/ms and (0.8? 0.6)/0.5 mm3 in the control group. Objectives To help nursing students to adapt to the environment of the job interviews by simulation interview, train the students'psychological quality and the adaptability, give the necessary guidance for seeking job after graduation. Method Five interview groups were composed by 15 nurse executives and interpersonal communication teachers from 4 hospitals, after the simulation interview, the students were surveyed using the self-desigued questionnaire. Results There are 10 items having the most significant influence, 10 items having more obvious influence the last 7items.Conclusion It can improve all aspects'ability of the students effectively through carrying out the simulation interview pertinence, and can help the students find job successfully.

OBJECTIVE:To study the characteristics of patent behaviors of Chinese pharmaceutical demonstration enterprises for intellectual property,and to provide reference for the improvement of patent behaviors in Chinese pharmaceutial enterprises. METHODS:After retrieving the applicants(patentees)from China Intellectual Property Right Net on the basis of taking 7 pharma-ceutical demonstration enterprises chosen through appraisal by State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C in 2013 as the study samples,empirical study was conducted on their patent behaviors during 1985 and 2013,including the number and type of the pat-ents for which applications were made,international patent classification and legal status. RESULTS:The number of patent applica-tions of the 7 pharmaceutical demonstration enterprises demonstrated a growing trend(an annual increase up to 79.0%). The appli-cations were dominated by the inventive patent(84.9%). Many patents were in an authorized legal status(46.7%). All of these en-terprises paid more attention to the maintenance of the authorized patent. The technology patent applications were mainly about chemical compound,composition,and preparation methods,including the technical proposal containing the active ingredients and properties of the pharmaceutical preparation (A61K),particularly the application of the technical proposal related to the treatment with the preparation (A61P). CONCLUSIONS:All the 7 pharmaceutical demonstration enterprises were aware of patent competi-tion and protection and characterized by a higher proportion of the application for the inventive patent,perfect patent information management institution and high-quality patent applications. Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises can enhance their competitiveness and creativity through adjusting patent behaviors and increasing their awareness of patent competition.

Objective The effect of leech injection on experimental therombus formation in rats was studied. Methods The method of common carotid artery-external jugular vein by accessory pathway in rats was used. leech injection to observe its antithrombotic effect. At the same, related indecex were assessed. Results The leech injection inhibited the formation of experimental thrombus obviously and reduced aggregation of plate]et and adhesiveness of platelet. Conclusion It is suggested that leech injection has the effect of antithrombosis formation.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics, management and prognosis of gestational trophoblastic disease in women aged 50 years or more. Methods Thirty-eight cases of gestational trophoblastic disease in women aged 50 years or more, who were treated in Peking Union Medical College Hospital between 1992 and 2002, were reviewed retrospectively. Results The median age was 52 years (range from 50 to 58 years ). The lesions included 5 hydatidiform moles (13%), 19 invasive moles (50%), 12 choriocarcinomas (32%) and 2 placenta site trophoblastic tumors (5%). All of 38 cases presented with abnormal vaginal bleeding. Twenty-three cases of hydatidiform moles were diagnosed at their first visit to the hospital, and 15 of them received prophylactic chemotherapy, of whom 10 progressed to invasive mole, 3 developed lung metastasis. All of the other 8 cases without prophylactic chemotherapy progressed to malignant changes with metastasis of lung. The use of prophylactic chemotherapy reduced the incidence of subsequent metastasis. All of 38 cases received chemotherapy. Thirty-two cases underwent hysterectomy, complete remission was achieved in 91% of patients; complete remission was achieved in 2 of 6 patients without hysterectomy. Conclusions The diagnosis of pregnancy and pregnancy-related disease should be considered in the elderly women presenting with abnormal vaginal bleeding. Once gestational trophoblastic disease in women aged 50 years or more is diagnosed, chemotherapy should be given as soon as possible. Hysterectomy is frequently required to improve the prognosis of gestational trophoblastic disease in the elderly women.

Objective To study the predictive value of acute gastrointestinal injury (AGI) grading system introduced into Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score in patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) in order to provide a reliable clinical tool for the evaluation of prognosis of SAP.Methods Patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to ICU from July 2012 to July 2014 were enrolled for study.The criteria of exclusion were the age below 18 years old,pregnancy,or patients without consent to the treatment.A total of 63 patients with 37 males and 26 females aged (47 ± 15.3) years were included.The data of their acute physiology and chronic health evaluation (APACHE) Ⅱ score,the highest SOFA score and AGI grade within the first week,and the 28-day mortality rate were collected.Patients without AGI were defined as zero point,and AGI grade Ⅰ-Ⅳ were defined as 1-4 points.The receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was used to evaluate the value of APACHE Ⅱ score,SOFA score,and SOFA + AGI score in predicting the prognosis of SAP.The areas under ROC curve (AUC) of the APACHE Ⅱ score,SOFA score,and SOFA + AGI score were compared with MedCalc software,and P value less than 0.01 was considered to be statistical significance.Results (1) The 28-day mortality of the 63 patients with SAP was 20.6％ (13/63),in which 50 patients in the survival group,13 patients in the death group.The APACHEⅡ scores of two groups were (15.62 ± 4.33 vs.12.10 ± 3.74,P=0.0048),the SOFA scores were (14.77 ± 3.09 vs.9.24 ± 2.88,P ＜0.01),and the SOFA + AGI scores were (18.77 ±3.09 vs.10.74 ± 3.17,P＜0.01).(2) The AUC of APACHEⅡ score was0.748 ± 0.084 (95％ CI:0.622-0.849),the AUC of SOFA score was 0.902 ± 0.059 (95％ CI:0.801-0.962),and the AUC of SOFA +AGI score was 0.963 ± 0.037 (95％ CI,0.882-0.994);There was no significant difference in AUC between APACHE Ⅱ score and SOFA score (P =0.10),and there was statistical significance between the AUC of APACHE Ⅱ score and that of SOFA + AGI score (P =0.013),and the difference in AUC between SOFA score and SOFA + AGI score was statistically significant (P =0.008).The Youden index and the positive likelihood ratio of SOFA + AGI score system were the greatest to be 0.863 and 15.38,respectively.Conclusions SOFA scoring system has better predictive value in patients with SAP when AGI grading system was introduced into it.
