Taking the harsh reality of Wenchuan Earthquake as an analog model of modern war,based on the initial analysis of the casualty characters and combined with the earthquake relief work,the status quo of military medical equipment,the situation of deployment and application and the revelation are analyzed so as to provide useful reference to the further development of military medical equipment and to prepare for the military actions under non-war state of affairs.

Objective To observe the effect of bone repair and evaluate its esthetic outcome with heterogeneous acellular dermal matrix cover the alveolar cleft bone grafting area in the alveolar cleft operation.Methods In 67 cases,unilateral cleft palate,were treated by alveolar cleft conventional surgical method.Cancellous iliac bone grafting were control group,heterogeneous acellular dermal matrix cover the alveolar cleft bone grafting area were treatment group.Radiographs was taken at 1 st,3 rd,6 th,12 th,18 th,24 th month postoperatively to observe the bone regeneration alveolar cleft zone.Results The alveolar cleft graft area new bone formation with Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ grade after 6 months in control group was 15,11,9,6 cases and in treatment group was 13,9,3,1 case.The graft survival rate and success rate (97.8％,84.3％) of treatment group were higher than that of control group (84.5％,63.7％),the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The successful rate of operation could be warranted,by the joint application of autogenous iliac bone grafts and heterogeneous acellular dermal matrix in the alveolar cleft operation.

ObjectiveTo investigate the protective effect of calcium channel blocker, verapamil against human hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury.MethodsThe patients undergoing lobe/segment hepatectomy were injected with 5?mg/2ml verapamil through vena gastroepiploica dextra before blocking hepatic portal.ResultsThe levels of free calcium ions in the hepatic cell and serum enzyme from the test group increased significantly than those of the control group. The degree of hepatic pathological injury was lower and the hepatic function restored earlier in test group.ConclusionCalcium channel blockers administered by hepatic portal vein before blocking hepatic portal have an important protective effect against human hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury.

OBJECTIVE:To standardize prescription management and to promote rational drug use.METHODS:The "Prescription Management Method" was implemented,and the role of pharmaceutical management committee was brought into full play by strengthening pharmaceutical management and building up the long-term supervision mechanism.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Due to the building up of a series of new measures such as the 3-level supervision mechanism,the pharmaceutical management in our sanatorium area has achieved remarkable efficacy.However,there are some shortages which remain to be improved.

This paper introduces the current status and development trend of the field medical equipment from such aspects as individual soldier,series of medical cases for fighting position,and mobile equipment for medical instrument and apparatus. The analysis shows that although the individual equipment is not advanced,and even backward,the integral efficiency is relatively high.

Objective To study the clinical features ,the high risk features ,the treatments and the outcomes of chronic obstruc-tive pulmonary disease(COPD) patients combined with invasive pulmonary aspergillosis(IPA) .Methods The clinical dates of 48 COPD patients combined with IPA were retrospectively analyzed .Results The clinical manifestations of 48 COPD patients com-bined with IPA were dyspnea ,lung rales ,chest pain ,cough ,cough phlegm ,fever .Radiological findings were presented as pulmonary inflammatory exudation ,consolidation ,cavity of lungs .The treatments were effective in 16 cases ,ineffective in 32 cases .Conclusion Early diagnosis and treatment is important in COPD patients combined with IPA .

Objective To find a method of therapy for pregnancy acute periapical periodontitis patients,which has no effect on development of foetus and also make pregnant women exercise normal masticatory function.Methods When the teeth of pregnant women diagnosed definitely acute periapical periodontitis were asymptomatic,Using calcium hydroxide and iodoform paste for temporary stopping in root canal;then the teeth would be filled conventionally after delivery.Results The teeth of 20 pregnant women were all good,without pain of oneself,excitation and occlusion.All the pregnant women delivered normally and the mother and infant were all right.Conclusions Considering the safety of foetus,the temporary treatment of acute periapical diseases in pregnant women,using calcium hydroxide was safe and effective.

Objective To compare the occurrence of postoperative pain after applying two diferent root canalsealers in root canal treatment.Methods A total of 400 teeth were randomly divided into two groups:group A using ZincOxide engenol(ZOE),group B using Cortisomol sealer.The occurrence of postoperative pain was evaluated chnically 24~72h after root filling.Results The diference in pain among the two groups were statistically significant after treatment.The group B caused minimum irritation and least pain among the two groups.Conclusions The root canal therapy using Cortisomol sealer can significantly reduce pain.

Objective:To explore the general pattern of lymph node metastasis and its effect on prognosis in early gastric cancer.Methods:The clinicopathological and follow-up data of early gastric cancer cases from 1990.6~2000.6 were retrospectively analyzed.Results:The tumor size and depth of invasion were related to lymph node metastasis in early gastric cancer.The 5-year survival rate of patients with node-positive early gastric cancer was significantly lower than those of patients with node-negative,72.4% and 92.5% respectively.The 5-year survival rate of patients with ≥4 metastatic lymph nodes was significantly lower than those of patients with 1~3 metastatic lymph nodes,50.0% and 84.2% respectively.Conclusion:Lymph node metastasis is the independent prognostic factor.Postoperative therapy should be recommended for the patients with ≥4 metastatic lymph nodes.
