Objective: To investigate the expression of α-B crystalline in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and discuss its role in the prognosis and targeted therapy of TNBC by analyzing the correlation amongα-B crystalline and the clinico-pathological indi-ces of breast cancer. Methods:Immunohistochemistry SP assay was used to determineα-B crystalline expression in paraffin-embedded specimens of 30 cases of TNBC and 50 cases of non-TNBC tissues. The differences in protein expressions among tissues were com-pared, and correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between protein expression and clinico-pathological indi-ces. Results:The positive expression rate ofα-B crystalline was 66.67%in TNBC (20/30) and 42.00%in non-TNBC (21/50), which in-dicates that the expression is significantly higher in TNBC than in the non-TNBC tissues (χ2=4.566, P<0.05). The expression ofα-B crystalline in breast cancer has no significant difference in terms of age, tumor diameter, and cancer stage (P>0.05), but exhibits a differ-ence in terms of lymph node metastasis and the number of metastasized lymph nodes [P53, Ki67 (P<0.05)], which presents a positive correlation (r=0.251). Theα-B crystalline expression in TNBC has no significant difference among indices such as age, tumor diameter, nodal metastasis, number of metastasis, P53, cancer stage, and Ki67 (P>0.05). Conclusion:Significant differences were found inα-B crystalline expression between TNBC and non-TNBC.α-B crystalline is highly expressed in TNBC tissues, and the expression is signif-icantly higher in TNBC tissues than that in non-TNBC tissues.α-B crystalline is associated with poor prognosis of breast cancer. Conse-quently, the overexpression ofα-B crystalline in TNBC may be a reason for unfavorable TNBC prognosis.

ObjectiveTo explore and establish pre-hospital scoring system (respiration, pulse, motor and burn, RPMB) for evaluation of coal mine gas explosion injury. MethodsAfter analysis of characteristics of blast injury caused by coal mine gas explosion, a new pre-hospital scoring system,RPMB, for evaluation of blast injury was established on the basis of pre-hospital evaluation of coal mine injuries (respiration, pulse and motor, RPM). From January 2003 to December 2009, 251 patients with blast injury caused by coal mine gas explosion were collected in this study for a retrospective study. ISS≥16 points was set as the gold standard for severe wound. All the injuries were assessed by RPMB, RMP,pre-hospital index (PHI) and trauma triage rule (TTR). The consistency and detection rate of severe wounds were compared. The sensitivity and specificity were also calculated. ResultsOf 251 patients,41 patients were evaluated as severe, with high consistency rate between AIS-ISS and RPMB (kappa =0.985). The sensitivity of RPMB, RPM, PHI and TTR was 97.6%, 26.8% , 22.0% and 17.1% respectively and the specificity of those was 88. 1 % , 97.6% , 87.6% and 95.7% respectively. ConclusionRPMB is a simple and easy scoring method, with high detection rate of severe wound and potential of clinical applications.

Objective To investigate the clinical features, laboratory diagnostics, treatments, and prognosis of neonates infected with influenza. Methods The clinical data of 16 neonates diagnosed as influenza admitted to the neonatal ward from January 2015 to May 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Of the 16 neonates, 11 were male and 5 were female. Mean age was 18.5 days. 75% (12/16) of them were reported to be exposed to family members with common cold- like symptoms before hospitalization. Clinical manifestations included nasal obstruction (11/16), fever (10/16), cough (10/16), and rhinorrhea (8/16). Influenza antigen rapid detection (colloidal gold method) was positive in all cases. Influenza immunofluorescence assays were performed in 15 cases, only 6.67% (1/15) was positive. Sputum culture was performed in 13 cases, 8 of which were positive. Of them, 75% (12/16) neonates were diagnosed with pneumonia. Only 12.5% (2/16) neonates were treated with neuraminidase inhibitor. All cases recovered well and were discharged after antibiotic treatment. Conclusions Neonates contacted with family members displaying common cold-like symptoms should be examined for influenza in time. The common clinical manifestations include catarrhal symptoms, fever and cough. The sensitivity of the influenza immunofluorescence assay is lower as compared with the colloidal gold method. Pneumonia may often be developed in neonatal influenza. The prognosis of neonatal influenza is satisfactory if treated.
