Excessive activation of renal sympathetic nerves may be a key factor for occurrence and maintenance of hypertension.Renal sympathetic nerve ablation is a selective sympathetic denervation therapy,Which provides neW route for antihypertensive treatment.This article made an overvieW on further expansion of safety,effectiveness and indications of renal sympathetic nerve ablation treatment for hypertension.

Objective To determine the changes of gene expression profile in small intestinal allograft in rats after ischemic preconditioning(IPC),and to study the mechanism of graft protection of IPC.Methods Rats are randomly divided into 3 groups:sham operation(S group),small bowel transplant(SBT group)and IPC small bowel transplant group(ISBT group).Total RNAs was extracted from intestine of the 3 groups 1h after the intestine remored and cold preservation/reperfusion,and then purified to mRNA.mRNAs was then reversely transcribed to cDNA and to prepare hybridization probes.The mixed probes were hybridized to the cDNA microarray.After high-stringent washing,the fluorescent signals on cDNA microarray were scanned and analyzed.Results Among the 4 096 target genes,297 differentially expressed genes were identified between normal intestine and intestinal allograft in ISBT group;among those 84 genes which have been reported,including 18 genes expressing down and 66 genes expressing up regulation.Differentially expressing genes could be related to the protective effect of IPC.Conclusions The mechanisms of protective effect of IPC on cells of the graft are by modulation of genes related to cell adhesion,related to cellular energy and metabolism,and related to the signal transmission of the cells.

Objective To improve the surgical technique to establish a simple model of heterotopic segmental small bowel transplantation in rats. Methods The segmental intestine was harvested with "non-injury"technique and consisted of donor aortic segment with superior mesenteric artery and portal vein, after perfused in situ with lactated Ringer's solution, the graft was stored in 4℃ lactated Ringer's solution for about 1 h. The heterotopic segmental intestine transplantation was performed by end-to-side anastomosis of donor aorta to recipient aorta. The left kidney of the recipient was resected and the donor's portal vein was anastomosed to the recipient left renal vein by" cuff anastomosis". Results A total of 87 intestine transplantations were performed, 26 of them was regarded as formal experiment group.The average time for the arterial and venous anastomosis were 25～30min and 5 min.Among the 26 recipient rats,21 survived more than 3days.The average survival was 8.93?2.59 days, The longest survival was 14 days in this group. Conclusions It is indicated that the keys of success of small intestinal transplantation are as follows:the high quality graft,excellent anastomosis of blood vessels and adequate liquid supplement.

Objective To investigate the best dignostic cut-off point of non-typical ectopic pregnancy(EP) through the determination of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in 154 cases of suspected ectopic pregnancy patients.Methods The serum level of VEGF in 154 cases with suspected EP was determined by means of immunossay technique,and the results were made into ROC-Curve.Results The acreage behind the curve was 0.95,illustrating that the VEGF can be as a better marker for early diagnosis of EP.The serum VEGF level of 200pg/ml was the cut-off point for early diagnosis of EP throash ROC-Curve.Condusion The serum VEGF can be considered as an early diagnostic marker of EP,which cut-off point is benifical to reducing misdiagnosis of EP.

Atrioventricular node is responsible for conducting impulse from atria to ventricles.Connexin within atri-oventricular junction play a key role in conducting function of atrioventricular junction;because it presents diversi-fied expression,so its conducting junction is diversified in different areas of atrioventricular junction.Knowing ex-pression type of connexins can approximately determine conductive function in atrioventricular junction area.

Objective To observe the clinical results of free dorsal forearm mini-osteo-cutaneous flap to repair the bone and soft tissue defect of finger. Methods The mini-osteo-cutaneous flap pedicled on the osteo-cutaneous branch of dorsal branch of anterior interosseous artery was designed on the radial side of the distal dorsal forearm along the connective line between the Lister's tubercle and the lateral epicondyle of the humerus, the point of the cutaneous branch of dorsal branch of anterior interosseous artery entry the skin was about 3.5 cm proximal to the Lister's tubercle. The dimensions of the osteo-cutaneous-flap were planned according to the defect of recipient. The incision begins along the ulnar board of the flap and the septum between the extensor pollicis brevis muscle and the extensor pollicis longus muscle was exposed, the osteo-cutaneous branch of dorsal branch of anterior interosseous artery was indentified, then the cutaneous flap and osteo-flap was raised respectively, the osteo-cutaneous branch was dissected deeply to the origin and sectioned, the donor site was closed directly. The vascular pedicle of the osteo-cutaneous flap was anastomosed with the digital artery and dorsal vein respectively. From Jul. 1999 to Jan. 2005, 7 fingers of 7 males suffered bone and soft tissue defect with the average of 25 years old ranging from 18 to 37 years old were performed. Results All the 7 free mini-osteo-cutaneous flaps were survived completely, the dimensions of the cutaneous-flap and osteo-flap were 2.5 cm ? 3.0 cm to 4.5 cm ? 3.5 cm, 2.5 cm ? 1.0 cm to 3.5 cm ? 1.2 cm respectively. The osteo-flap was united with recipient bone 2 to 3 months after the transplantation and the donor site was closed by direct suture without tension, the appearance of the reconstructed finger by mini-osteo-cutaneous flap was perfect. Conclusion The free dorsal forearm mini-osteo-cutaneous flap pedicled on the osteo-cutaneous branch of dorsal branch of anterior interosseous artery was one of the optimal flap to reconstruct bone and soft tissue defect of the finger.

Objective To understand the effect of cerium on the activity of SOD and CAT in Drosophila melanogaster.Methods Drosophila melanogasters were treated with cerium by adding cerium sulfate [Ce(SO4)2] into the culture medium at different concentrations(0,1,4,16,64,256 and 1 024 mg/L).The activity of SOD and CAT of the third-instar larvae were analyzed.Result Compared with the control,at 64-1 024 mg/L,the activity of SOD and CAT in the third-instar larvae significantly decreased and at 1-16 mg/L,the activity of SOD and CAT significantly increased Conclusion It suggested that cerium sulfate [Ce(SO4)2] has an oxidant toxicity to Drosophila melanogaster.

Methods Heterotopic segmental small bowel transplantation in rats was performed with a modified technique. Total RNAs was extracted from the allografts (experimental group) and normal intestines (control group) 1h after cold preservation /reperfusion, and then purified to mRNA. Equal mRNAs of the two groups were as then reversely transcribed to cDNA and to prepare hybridization probes. The mixed probes were hybridized to the cDNA microarray . After high-stringent washing, the fluorescent signals on cDNA microarray were scanned and analyzed . Results Among the 4096 target genes, 82 differentially expressed genes were identified between the two groups. There were 18 novel genes and 33 expression sequence tags. 31 genes reported and differentially expressed could be related to the preservation/reperfusion injury of grafts. Conclusions Abnormal adhesion between polymorphonuclear cells and microvascular endothelial cells, and failure in energy, glucose and protein metabolism of grafts may contribute to cold preservation/reperfusion injury of small intestinal allografts.

Objective To explore the fraction risk in patients with osteoporosis and effects of antiosteoporosis therapy on fracture healing.Methods All the recruited subjects were senile patients with fracture in lower extremity and were treated in the Department of Orthopaedics in Shandong Qianfoshan Hospital from Aug.2006 to Feb.2011.In the total 15 cases,10 were female and 5 were male,aged from 53 to 65 years (average 56.7 years old).After surgical reduction and internal fixation,all the 15 patients did free-weight and continous passive motion (CPM) functional exercise and received anti-osteoporosis treatment.X-ray was taken to show the preoperative and postoperative lumbar vertebrae and fracture position.Meanwhile,bone mineral density and blood calcium level and phosphate level were measured.Results Thirteen out of 15 patients were healed for bone fracture after a 3-month treatment,meeting the clinical standards of the fracture healing.The clinical fracture healing rate was 86.67％.Blood calcium level,phosphate level and the bone mineral density were significantly different between that before and after the treatment ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion Osteoporosis not only increases the risk of fracture,but also has an adverse effect on the bone healing.Anti-osteoporosis therapy has a positive role to the fracture healing in the senile patients with osteoporosis.

Objective The study estabfished a model to pre-dict the weekly incidence of bacillary dysentery in Chaoyang District,and evaluated its predictive effects. Methods To eliminate the factors of sea-son-changing by means of Time Series. Auto regressive integrated moving average(ARIMA), based on model identification, estimation andverifica-tion of parameter, and analysis of the fitting of model, was established. Fi-nally,the predictive model was established by the multiple of ARLMA and seasonal factors. Results The error of the model for the prediction was -0.06 on average. The relative error was 2.32% on average. Conclusion Time series could not only accurately predict useing the data which was collected every week,but shorten the cycle of prediction.
