To analyze the genetic characterization of epidemic mumps virus strains in Liaoning Province and provide the basis for mumps control. A total of 32 mumps viruses strains were isolated during 2008-2104. The fragment of SH genes and HN genes were amplified by RT-PCR, the PCR products were sequenced and analyzed. Basing on the 316 nucleotides of SH gene, The phylogenetic analyses were processed with the data of WHO mumps reference strains downloaded from GenBank and 32 mumps viruses strains. It showed that the 31 mumps virus strains belong to F genotype except MuVi/Liaoning. CHN/16.11 which was G genotype . Comparing to the A reference strains (Jeryl-Lynn and S-79), F genotype MuV were mutated on 12 amino acids sites and 27 amino acids siteson on HN gene. F genotype MuV added one N-glycosylation site in 464th-466th amino acids. The antigenic sites on HN were mutated on 121th, 123th, 279th, 287th, 336th, 356th and 442th. Maybe, it will influence the MuV antigenic.

To wished to characterize the hemagglutinin (H) gene of the measles virus epidemic strain H1a in Liaoning Province (China) from 1997-2014 to provide a basis for the control and elimination of measles. All 63 measles virus strains were the H1a genotype. Fragments of the H gene (1854 nucleotides) and nucleoprotein (N) gene (450 nucleotides) were amplified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and the PCR products sequenced and analyzed. Phylogenetic-trees were constructed with reference strains of the genotype-H measles virus downloaded from GenBank, including Chinese measles virus strains isolated in 1993-1994 and the vaccine reference strains S-191 and C-47. Sixty-three strains of the measles virus in 1997-2014 belonged to genotype H1a. The mean evolutionary rate for gene N-450 was higher than that for the H gene. All 63 strains of the measles virus were mutated from: serine (Ser S) to asparagine (Asn N) in the 240th amino acid; arginine (Arg R) to glycine (Gly G) in the 243th; and tyrosine (Tyr Y) to Asn N in the 481th amino acid. All measles virus strains in cluster 2 were mutated from proline (Pro P) to leucine (Leu L) in the 397th amino acid. The other neutralization sites showed no apparent difference when comparing the nucleotides/amino acids of the H gene of S191 vaccine strains.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety in the treatment of acetabular fractures via anterior approaches, including ilioinguinal, stoppa, pararectus approach. Methods Systematic literature retrieval was carried out to obtain two-arm and one-arm researches on the treatment of acetabular fractures via any one of the three approaches before May 2017,from pubmed, embase, cochrane library Databases.Data extraction and quality evaluation of studies were performed by 3 investigators independently.A meta-analysis was performed by RevMan 5.3 and Meta-Analyst beta 3.13.Results Totally 22 low to moderate quality studies, including 7 two-arm and 15 one-arm were included. There were 980 patients, including 581 in ilioinguinal approach group,264 in stoppa approach group and 135 in pararectus approach group.Meta-analysis showed the rate of anatomic reduction in stoppa approach was higher than that in ilioinguinal approach (OR=0.58,95%CI:0.36-0.94,P=0.03),which in pararectus approach was higher than that in ilioinguinal approach (0R=2.95,95%CI:1.22-7.10,P=0.02).Compared to the ilioinguinal approach, the operation time in the Stoppa approach was shorter (MD=48.01,95%CI:17.08-78.95,P=0.002),there was no statistically significant difference between pararectus approach and ilioinguinal approach. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences among three approaches in intra-operative blood loss, postoperative functional outcomes and complications. Conclusion The available limited evidence suggests that the rate of anatomical reduction in stoppa and pararectus approach may be higher than ilioinguinal approach.Compared to the ilioinguinal approach, the operation time in the stoppa approach may be shorter. In this field, further rigorous design, baseline parallel, direct comparison controlled studies on this topic are still needed.

International Eye Science 2016;16(10):1855-1857
Blepharospasm is a focal dystonia of the orbicularis oculi muscles, producing excessive eye closure. The etiology and pathogenesis is still unclear now. lt is usually appearing in adult period and predominant in females. The symptoms are typically triggered by stress, fatigue, intense light or individual factors. At advanced stages patients develop functional blindness. At present the main treatments include: botulinum toxin ( BTX ) , surgical procedures, systemic and ocular drugs and traditional Chinese medicine treatment. BTX administration has been an effective treatment. Surgical procedures have good effect but should be limited to the rare patients that do not respond to botulinum toxin treatment. A great variety of drugs have poor results. Chinese medicine has a certain therapeutic effect. Transcranial magnetic stimulation can improve symptoms. The epidemiology, anatomy, physiology, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis, pathogenesis and treatment system were reviewed in this paper.

UNLABELLEDTo set up a new rapid and efficient way for the preparation of specific monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) with plasmid DNA immunization.
METHODSThe fusion gene of IL-2 signal peptide and profilin 1 by 'overlapping PCR' was obtained and inserted into the vector pVAX1 to construct the recombinant plasmid pVAX-IL2-profl. Another fusion gene of IgG kappa chain signal peptide and profilin 1 by 'no template PCR' was obtained and inserted into the vector pVAX1 to construct the recombinant plasmid pVAX-Igkappa-prof1. BALB/c mice were single intrasplenic immunized with plasmid DNA. Results After cell fusion and hybridomas screening by indirect ELISA, we charactered two mAbs (1D8A2B4 and 4B12A5E3) against profilin 1. The MAbs isotype were determined as IgM and IgG3.
CONCLUSIONA single intrasplenic plasmid DNA immunization is rapid and efficient and can be used as a helpful tool for the production of specific mAb.

Objective To study the safety of transfusion of itraconazole through PICC and to evaluate the effect of different amount of blood transfusion before and after the infusion. Methods Patients were recruited from January 1, 2014, until December 31, 2015, in the Hematology hematopoietic stem cell transplantation ward. Thiry-two patients were recruited in the control group. Ninety patients wererecruited in the experience group. They were randomly assigned to three groups with 30 cases each, extracting different amounts of itraconazole before infusion, back phlebotomize in group A, B, C respectively was 10.0, 0.5, 1.0 ml. Comparing the phlebitis and obstruction after ten days from the transfusion day on. Results Catheter obstruction was not observed in any case. There was a significant difference between control group (21.9%,7/32) and observation group (0) regarding the incidence of phlebitis (χ2=21.157,P < 0.05). No statistical difference was noted among the observation groups regarding the incidence of phlebitis (P>0.05). Conclusions Drawing a small amount of blood volume before itraconazole injection through PICC can effectively avoid the drug-induced catheterobstruction. What′s more, transfusion through PICC can significantly reduce the incidence of phlebitis compared with peripheral infusion.
