1.Expression of retinoid receptors in ovarian cancer
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(06):-
Ovarian cancer is highly lethal despite multiple therapies, and new therapies are therefore needed.Retinoids are potential anticancer drugs that can promote apoptosis, inhibit growth and induce differentiation in cancer cells, and all these functions are regulated by the expression of retinoid receptors.Herein the recent researches on the expression of retinoid receptors in ovarian cancer are reviewed.

4.The potential role of neurotrophic factor in the pathogenesis and therapy of Parkinson's disease
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
Parkinson's disease is characterized by degeneration and dysfunction of dopaminergic neurons in the mid-brain substantia nigra, neurons that project to the caudate putamen. The clinical symptoms are caused by the loss of dopamine and the consequent dysfunction of the nigrostriatal pathway. Neurotrophic factors that may prevent nigrostriatal degeneration by improving the function of remaining dopaminergic neurons has the potential to be a useful therapy for Parkinson's disease. Neurotrophic factors and their specific receptors could play an important role in the progress of Parkinson's disease. The neuroprotective effects of neurotrophic factors GDNF, BDNF, IL-6 on dopaminergic neurons in vivo and in vitro , and the potential therapeutic use in treating Parkinson's disease were discussed in this paper.
5.The effect of microRNA-204 on autophagy in U251
Practical Oncology Journal 2016;30(1):23-27
Objective To investigate the effect of microRNA-204(miR-204)on autophagy in U251. Methods Inhibition of miR-204 in U251 cell lines was done by transfection of miR-204 inhibitor(AMO-204) .Cell viability was detected by MTT assay. The autophagy of U251 was tested by immunofluorescence tech-nique.The protein level of Beclin 1,LC3 and Bcl-2 was detected by Western blot. Results Cell viability was markedly increased after inhibition of miR-204 in U251 cells. The number of autophagosome was decreased. The levels of Beclin 1 and LC3 were decreased, the protein level of Bcl-2 was significant increased by transfection of AMO-204 in U251 cells(P<0.05).Conclusion MiR-204 might at least in part promote glioma via inhibi-ton autophagy, indicating that miR-204 might be a potential target for the treatment of glioma.

7.Severe pneumonia complicated with heart failure in children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2017;24(3):166-170
It is still controversial whether or not the severe pneumonia is associated with heart failure in children.Currently,we pay more attention to the pathophysiological procedure of heart failure, such as pneumonia complicated with respiratory failure, shock and myocardial injury.Pay attention to the cardiopulmonary interaction mechanism and systemic inflammatory response.According to different pathophysiological mechanisms, guide the treatment by monitoring the hemodynamic status.

9.Clinical Application of Restoring of Short Coronal Cracked Molar with Cutting Titanium Inlay Crown
Tianjin Medical Journal 2014;(5):493-494
Objective To estimate the clinical effect of cutting titanium inlay crown in the restoration of short cracked molar. Methods Sixty-four short coronal cracked teeth were randomly divided into group A and group B. Group A were treated by crown. Group B were treated by titanium inlay crown. The curative effect was evaluated every year and lasted 2 years. Results One year after the repair, there was no significant difference in the achievement ratio between two groups (93.8%vs 100%,χ2=2.064, P>0.05). Two years after the repair, the success rate was significantly higher in group B (96.9%) than that of group A (68.8%,χ2=8.892, P<0.01). The failed cases of group A were treated by cutting titanium inlay crown, showing good retention. Conclusion The retention of a short cracked molar can be improved by means of cutting titanium inlay crowns.

Clinical Medicine of China 2008;24(8):787-789
Objective To explore the prognostic factors in patients with acute respiratory failure due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in EICU. Method Clinical data of 39 patients admitted to EICU from May 2005 to May 2007 were retrospectivley analyzed. Results In death group, the pulmonary artery pressure (PAP) ,creatinine (Cr) ,APACHE-Ⅱ score, and APACHE-Ⅲ score were increased (P < 0. 05) and ICU stays were prolonged (P < 0.05) ; Respiratory rate (RR) and Glasgow coma score (GCS) were decreased (P < 0.05). Conclusion PAP, Cr, APACHE-Ⅱ score,APACHE-Ⅲ score,RR and GCS predict the prognosis of the patients with acute respiratory failure due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
