1.Safety of BLB implant denture:immediate implantationversus delayed implantation

BACKGROUND:There is no unified conclusion on the efficacy of immediate implantation and restoration. Some studies have shown that the success rate and aesthetic effect of immediate implantation are better than those of delayed implantation. However, in other studies, the immediate implantation has no difference from the delayed implantation, and it also has safety hazards. OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of BLB implant for immediate implantation and delayed implantation. METHODS:Eighty patients undergoing denture implantation and restoration, 35 males and 45 females, aged 20-52 years were equaly divided into research group treated with immediate implantation of BLB implant and control group treated with delayed implantation. Crown restoration was completed at 3 months after implantation. Then, the patients were folowed up for 6 months to observe the implant stability, implantation efficacy and adverse effects. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There was no intra-group or intergroup difference in the implant stability quotients of two groups at 1, 3, 6 months after restoration (P> 0.05). The total effective rate was 95% in the research group and 90% in the control group, and there was no significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). In the research group, there was one case of gingivitis and one case of lower lip numbness; in the control group, there were two cases of wound infection and one case of lower lip numbness, but there was no difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P > 0.05). These findings indicate that BLB implant has good efficacy and safety both in immediate implantation and delayed implantation.
2.Functional Exercise Guided by Self Muscle Strength Standard for Early Rehabilitation after Total Knee Arthro-plasty

Objective To observe the effect of functional exercise guided by self muscle strength in early rehabilitation on patients after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods From September, 2014 to September, 2015, 62 patients after TKA were randomly divided into ex-perimental group (n=31) and control group (n=31). The control group received conventional rehabilitation training, while the experimental group received rehabilitation training under the guidance of their own muscle strength standard. The degrees of swelling and pain seven days after TKA; the muscle strength seven and 15 days after TKA; the range of motion (ROM), the Keen Society Score (KSS) 15 days after TKA;and the postoperative hospital stay were compared. Results There was no significant difference in all the indexes above between two groups before TKA (t<0.960, P>0.05), and all of them improved after TKA (t>3.470, P<0.01). There was no significant difference in the de-grees of swelling (t=1.800, P=0.077) and pain (t=0.840, P=0.404) seven days after TKA. The score of quadriceps strength was higher in the experiment group than in the control group (t>2.280, P<0.05) seven and 15 days after TKA. There was no significant difference in the ROM of the knee and the score of knee between two groups (t>0.850, P>0.05), and the functional score was higher in the experiment group than in the control group (t=5.870, P<0.001) 15 days after TKA. The postoperative hospital stay was shorter in the experiment group (t=7.65, P<0.01). Conclusion Functional exercise under the guidance of their own muscle strength standard could contribute to the improvement of postoperative muscle strength and knee joint function, and shorten the hospitalization stay.
3.Simultaneous Determination of Six Components in Shenqi Fuzheng Injection by HPLC

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the contents determination of astragalosidesⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,lobetyolin and for-mononetin in Shenqi fuzheng injection. METHODS:HPLC was performed. The detector was evaporative light scattering detector, column was Ultimate XB-C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.5% formic acid (gradient elution) at a flow rate of 1.2 ml/min, column temperature was 30 ℃,and injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 0.62-5.67 μg for astragalosidesⅠ(r=0.999 6),0.78-6.31 μg for astragalosidesⅡ(r=0.999 6),0.36-3.48 μg for astragalosidesⅢ(r=0.999 7),0.81-6.72 μg for as-tragalosides Ⅳ(r=0.999 5),0.82-7.03 μg for lobetyolin(r=0.999 8)and 0.58-6.62 μg(r=0.999 7)formononetin;limit of quan-titation was 1.21,0.15,0.12,0.03,0.12,0.17 μg/ml;limit of detection was 0.35,0.35,0.04,0.01,0.03,0.04 μg/ml;RSDs of pre-cision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%;recoveries were 95.1%-101.1%(RSD=2.0%,n=9),95.2%-100.7%(RSD=1.9%,n=9),95.8%-100.2%(RSD=1.4%,n=9),96.2%-100.6%(RSD=1.7%,n=9),96.6%-101.2%(RSD=1.4%, n=9) and 95.9%-99.5%(RSD=1.2%,n=9),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple and accurate,and can be used for the simultaneous determination of astragalosidesⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,lobetyolin and formononetin in Shenqi fuzheng injection.
4.Protective Effect of Different Extraction Samples from Salvia miltiorrhiza Decoction against Acute Myocar-dial Ischemia Model Mice

OBJECTIVE:To observe the protective effect of different extraction samples from Salvia miltiorrhiza decoction on acute myocardial ischemia model mice. METHODS:96 mice were randomized into blank control group (normal saline),model group(normal saline),positive drug group [Compound Salvia miltiorrhiza tablet,4.6 mg(crude drug)/(kg·d)],high-dose,medi-um-dose and low-dose groups of water extract,supercritical CO2 extract and supercritical CO2 extract+dregs water extract [24,12, 6 mg(crude drug)/(kg·d)],with 8 mice in each group,12 groups in total. They were given medicine intragastrically once a day. On sixth day,30 min after giving drugs,those groups were given isoprenaline 20 mg/kg,ih,to induce myocardial ischemia model except for blank control group,once a day,for consecutive 3 d. Electrocardiogram ST segment variation of mice were observed. The times and duration of buccal respiration were observed after rapid decapitation,and the activities of CK and LDH in serum were determined. RESULTS:Compared with blank control group,electrocardiogram ST segment and the activity of CK and LDH increased in model group,while the times and duration of buccal respiration after rapid decapitation reduced(P<0.01);compared with model group,above indicators of medication groups had been improved (P<0.01),and were positively correlated to drug concentration;the indicators of supercritical CO2 extract+dregs water extract group were most close to those of blank control group. CONCLUSIONS:Different extraction samples from Saliva miltiorrhiza decoction all have protective effect on acute myocardial ischemia model mice,and the protective effect of supercritical CO2 extracting+dregs water extracting sample of Salvia Miltiorrhiza decoction is best.

METHODS: Analysis was based on the relevant documents, and combined with the actual situations in China. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: Only by selecting the appropriate packaging materials, controlling the packaging process effectively and man- aging the package labels, will the safety of drug use be ensured.
7.Comparative study on between echocardiographic and transcatheter assessment of ductal diameter and pulmonary artery pressure in patients with PDA

Objective To evaluate the relevance between transthoracic echocardiography(TTE)and cardiac catheterization in measuring diameter of patent ductus arteriosus(PDA)and assessing pulmonary artery pressure.Methods The diameter of PDA and the pulmonary artery pressure in 105 patients were observed by TTE and cardiac catheterization,respectively.Results The di-ameter of the narrowest segment of the ductus and pulmonary artery pressure measurements by TTE and cardiac catheterization showed excellent correlation(r=0.782,P<0.01;r=0.810,P<0.01,respectively).Conclusion TTE and cardiac catheterization for measuring diameter of PDA and pulmonary artery pressure show excellent correlation.TTE plays an important role in evaluating pulmonary artery pressure and selecting patients efficiency of PDA occlusion.
8.Teaching model of writing graduation thesis for undergraduates majoring information management and in-formation system in medical colleges and universities

After a description of the demand for qualified health information professionals, the employment of graduates from department of information management and information system in medical colleges and universities, and the importance of writing graduation thesis, the problems in teaching how to write graduation thesis were analyzed with suggestions put forward for their solution. A new teaching model of writing graduation thesis was established according to the growth assessment theory.
