Journal of Chinese Physician 2002;0(S1):-
Objective To evaluate the safety of epidural resiting and the incidence of postdural puncture headache following accidental dural puncture. HZ Methods Among 63 patients of ASA I-II undergoing lower abdominal or lower extremity surgery, forty-two with postdural puncture who had received epidural resiting were randomly assigned to patient controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) ( n =21) or control treatment ( n =21). The remaining 21 patients who had successful epidural insertion received the routine PCEA. All patients after operation received 48-hours monitoring of BP, HR, RR and SpO_2. The analgesic effect of each treatment and the occurrence of headache were also assessed. Results All operations were uneventful under epidural anesthesia. A satisfactory level of analgesia was observed in patients who received PCEA. There was no statistically significant difference in pain control between patients who had had epidural resiting and who received PCEA and those who received routine PCEA. No respiratory inhibition was observed. The occurrence of headache in the epidural resiting group was 19% (4/21), compared to 57% (12/21) in the control group ( P

Conclusion:The method is simple, specific and sensitive, and can be applied to determine the related substances in pantoprazole sodium.
7.Several Ideas On Psychological Health Education of Medical Students
Yingmei SUN ; Shu ZHANG ;
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
Medical students have numerous courses with.relatively longer academic time at college.In addition,the special medical subject makes physical and recreational activities in medical schools far less lively than those in other universities or institutes of science and technology.Thus,medical students tend to encounters move difficulties involving move psychological problems in their studies.Therefore,it is a vital important problems for the university ethics teachers to cope with in the process of understanding the source of psychological disorders among medical students,and hence,improving psychological health education for them.
8.STUDY OF AGE ESTIMATION FROM CHINESE MALE CLAVICLE
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
264 clavicles from 132 Chinese Han nationality adult males of known age (17—76 years)were used for this study.The specimens were collected from Yunnanprovince,Guizhou province,Guangxi autonomous region and Shandong province.Changes of facies and margo articularis sternalis,facies and margo articularis acro-mialis and the back of extremitate acromialis near the margo bear relation to chan-ges with age.The changes of clavicles in these areas were divided into five phases.Statistical analysis revealed that the features chosen to delineate the various phasesare valid indicators of age.This study has shown that the clavicle can provide anaccurate estimation for age in Han nationality adult male spanning the age of 17 to76 years.

10.Salient cues enhance strategy monitoring and task switching for prospective memory:An ERP study
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2009;18(6):526-528
Objective To investigate the retrieval mechanism of prospective memory,spatiotemporal patterns of event-related potentials (ERP) were used to reveal neural correlates of the prospective interference effect. Methods A task of matching two sequential patterns was taken as the ongoing task and the detection of patterns with two salient levels as prospective memory tasks. Experiments were performed in blocks for single ongoing task block and two prospective memory blocks. Results No significant behavioral effect was found for prospective interference [reaction time(ms):control blocks 750.29±161.33,high salience blocks 770.94±174.89,low salience bocks 764.79±174.12,F(1.52,25.82)=0.48,P =0.57 and correction rate(%):control blocks 85.89±8.07,high salience blocks 88.26±7.00,low salience blocks 87.91±7.28,F(1.50,25.57)=2.46,P =0.12].But significant ERP effect was found at bilateral frontal regions from 160 ms to 240 ms for both two prospective memory blocks. Moreover,greater negativity at the right frontal polar region appeared significantly at 360'440 ms for higher salient patterns. Conclusion Prospective memory is retrieved based on strategic monitoring and high salient stimuli may enhance to keep the prospective goal and improve task switching.
