1.Analysis of AZF gene microdeletions on Y chromosome in male infertility patients from Dongguan
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;(6):791-792,795
Objective The multiple polymerase chain reaction(PCR) technique was adopted to detect AZF microdeletion of Y chromosome in 120 patients with idiopathic oligozoospermia and azoospermia and contemporaneous 60 cases of normal semen rou‐tine examination in the outpatient department .At the same time the peripheral blood chromosome karyotype analysis was performed on these 120 patients .Methods Multiple PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) technique were used to analyze 15 locus of the azoosper‐mia factor (AZF) in the 120 patients with idiopathic azoospermia and oligozoospermia and 60 mormal cases .using the Karyotype a‐nalysis technique to analyze karyotype of the 120 male infertile patients ,at the same time .Results Among 120 cases of male infer‐tility ,no obvious abnormal karyotype was found .23 cases were detected AZFc deletions with the detection rate of 19 .2% ,no mi‐crodeletions at other loci were detected .Conclusion AZFc is the major candidate gene for AZF gene screening in male infertility pa‐tients from this area .The Y chromosome microdeletion is the important cause leading to male infertility .

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2006;0(04):-
Objective To study the clinical significance of HBV preS1-Ag,HBV-DNA and HBeAg in main groups of HBV infection. Methods HBV preS1-Ag and hepatitis B serum markers individually were detected by ELISA,and HBV-DNA by fluorescence quantitative PCR, then the detection results of the 308 cases were analysed. Results The serum markers of the 308 cases infected by HBV presented four modes which were "HBsAg,HBeAg,HBcAb","HBsAg,HBeAb,HBcAb","HBsAg,HBeAg","HBsAg,HBcAb".The total positive rate of preS1-Ag was 62.34%(192/308),and HBV-DNA was 78.90%(243/308).Compared HBeAg(+) groups with HBeAg(-)/anti-HBe(+) groups, the corresponding positive rates of preS1-Ag were 71.65%(139/194) and 46.49%(53/114),respectively.The difference of the two groups was significant (?~2=18.30;P

The laboratory animal science, a comprehensive discipline researching on experimental animal and animal experimentation, is the life sciences research foundation and the support condition. It has very vital significance to sudy the related discipline especially the life sciences. This article discusses the construction of the status of Laboratory Animal Science course combined with the development of laboratory animal science and contacted with the characteristics of medical colleges and related disciplines.

Objective To analyze the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 5 patients with importing yellow fever ,and to explore the preventive and control strategies of infection in hospital .Methods The epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 5 cases of importing yellow fever in Infectious Disease Hospital of Fujian Medical University from March 18th to April 6th in 2016 were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed .Results Five patients were all from Angola Luanda .One of them was vaccinated before going aboard ,and the others were vaccinated 1—10 days before disease onset in Angola .All of them were bitten by mosquitoes ,and their onset date ranged from March 11th to March 27th ,before returned to Fujian .The main clinical symptoms were fever ,chilly ,shivering ,fatigue ,arthrodynia ,headache ,and liver and kidney injury .At manifestations ,two patients had positive nuclear acid of yellow fever virus in serum samples and 3 patients were positive in urine samples .All of these patients were negative for dengue virus and Zika virus testing ,meanwhile no plasmodium was found in blood smears .All patients were cured and discharged . Conclusions There is risk of yellow fever transmission in Fujian Province . Prevention and control of the disease should be focus on improving the ability of finding and coping with the importing cases .Vaccination and hygiene knowledge propagation should be given for those who are going to epidemic country/area .Emergency monitoring and control of mosquitoes are necessary .

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of limited open reduction combined with percutaneous medial locking plate in treatment of Rüedi-Allg(o)wer type Ⅱ and Ⅲ closed tibial pilon fractures. Methods A retrospective case-control analysis was made on 45 cases of closed tibial pilon fractures treated surgically between June 2008 and December 2015.There were 33 males and 12 females, aged from 26-66 years (mean,44.6 years). All cases were unilateral tibial pilon fractures, among which 18 were on the left while 27 were on the right.Thirty-four cases were combined with fibular fractures. There were 14 cases of type Ⅱ fractures and 31 type Ⅲ fractures according to the Rüedi-Allg(o)wer classification.Using the Tscheme-Gotzen system to evaluate soft tissue injury, two patients were in grade 1,29 patients in grade 2,and five patients in grade 3.On the basis of surgical methods, the cases were divided into Group A,limited open reduction with percutaneous medial locking plate and Group B,conventional open reduction. The operation time, reduction quality, fracture healing time,American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle-hindfoot scale at final follow-up visit and complications were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results The operation time of Group A was shorter than that of Group B (P < 0.05).All patients had been followed up for 12-24 months, among which Group A was 22.5 months and Group B was 20.0 months (P > 0.05).Compared with Group B,Group A was superior in fracture healing time (P < 0.05) and AOFAS ankle-hindfoot scale(P <0.05),but was inferior in reduction quality (P < 0.05).Poor wound healing was observed in two cases in each group, yet there was no nonunion in all cases. Conclusion Compared with conventional open reduction, the limited open reduction combined with percutaneous medial locking plate has more advantages in operation time and fracture healing, which can achieve better ankle functions for closed tibial pilon fractures.
