1.Pay Attention to Early Diagnosis and Management of Crohn’s Disease
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2015;(6):321-323
Crohn’s disease( CD)is a chronic, progressive and destructive intestinal inflammatory disease, frequently associated with tissue and functional damage in intestinal tract. There is no specific clinical feature at its early stage,30% ~ 50% of the patients are associated with various complications at the time of diagnosis and are quite difficult to cure. Opportunistic screening performed in high risk population is a valuable strategy for early finding(pre-lesion of CD) and early diagnosis( CD without complication). Colonoscopy and screening of serum and fecal markers might be the methods for early diagnosis. Early treatment may alter the natural history of the disease.

4.Connective tissue growth factor inhibits apoptosis of human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts through phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B signal pathway
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(10):-
Objective To explore whether the anti-apoptotic effect of connective tissue growth factor on human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts is mediated by phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/PKB)signal pathway. Methods The cultured human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts were divided into three groups:control group, connective tissue growth factor(10 ng/ml)stimulated group, the group pretreated with PI3K inhibitor LY294002(10 ?mol/L)and stimulated with connective tissue growth factor.Levels of phosphorylated PKB were examined by Western blotting in human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts that were stimulated with connective tissue growth factor for 30 min.Flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptosis ratio of the cells. Results Compared with the control group, the apoptosis ratio of the connective tissue growth factor stimulated group decreased(P
5.Inhibition effects of asiaticoside on controlling capsule formation around breast implant in rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the potential role of asiaticoside in controlling the capsular formation around breast implant in rats. Methods Forty female Sprague-Dawley rats were implanted with 2 silicone elastomer in bilateral dorsal interscapular region subcutaneously each, and randomly assigned to 2 groups (n=20 in each group): control group and experimental group. The experimental group was of intragastric administration with asiaticoside (24 mg/kg) daily while control group with saline of identical volume. On day 7, 14, 28, 56 and 84, 4 rats from each group were sacrificed. Specimens were collected for HE staining. Image-pro Plus was applied to measure the thickness of capsule at different time intervals and the dynamic alteration in histology was observed. Results In experimental group, the formation of capsule ended up with a thickness of (194.33?23.27)?m, dramatically thinner than that of control group (306.08?31.31)?m (P
6.Effect of small interfering RNA against connective tissue growth factor in TGF-?_1 stimulated human keloid fibroblasts
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the effect of small interfering RNA(siRNA)-expressing plasmid targeting connective tissue growth factor(CTGF) on the expressions of its mRNA and protein in cultured human keloid fibroblasts(hKFs).Methods Constructed siRNA-expressing plasmids targeting CTGF were transfected into hKFs by Dosper package. Then the transfected cells were treated with transforming growth factor 1(TGF-?1,10 ng/ml).Normal hKFs cells and those with TGF-?1 treatment served as normal control and control groups respectively. The expression level of CTGF mRNA and protein were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR(RQ-PCR) and Western blotting respectively. Results The expression level of CTGF mRNA was only 56.6% of that of the normal control(P

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2012;18(2):125-127
ObjectiveTo introduce a new procedure of penile lengthening which yields satisfactory outcomes and avoids persistent postoperative hydrophallus with the results of fresh body researches.MethodsIndirect intralymphatic injection and routine H-E staining were used to investigate the ramification of lymphatics of penis on fresh bodies. We found that the lymphatic return of penis was primarily mediated by dorsal and bilateral superficial lymph vessels, which converged dorsally at the root of penis and then ramified into the superior region of pubic symphysis and bilateral inguinal grooves. However, most previous incisions were done at the converging region of lymph vessels at the dorsal root of penis. It blocked most lymphatic return. Our modified method avoided interruption of lymph vessels in the converging region.Based on the results of the above investigations, the operative incision at the root of penis was shifted upward by 1.5 cm,and then the lengthened cavernous body of penis was covered by scrotal flap.ResultsEighty patients who accepted the new method achieved satisfactory outcomes.Postoperative hydrophallous decreased gradually from the 3rd day and vanished basically on the 6-7 day.ConclusionsOur modified procedure of penile lengthening reduces the damage of these vessels.Consequently, postoperative hydrophallus resolves fast and the new procedure yields high success rates, sound appearance and sensation of penis. Therefore, the new procedure is an ideal option for surgenons in clinical practice.
