Journal of Preventive Medicine 2022;34(8):831-835
Objective:
To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of repeated HIV antibody tests among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Wuhan City, so as to provide insights into the development of interventions against AIDS among MSM.
Methods:
MSM with self-reported homosexual behaviors in a community studio in Wuhan City were recruited using a convenient sampling method from January to April 2019, and participants' demographic features, sexual behaviors, HIV antibody tests and recognition of HIV antibody tests were collected using questionnaires. Factors affecting repeated HIV antibody tests were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model.
Results:
Totally 300 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a mean age of (31.06±10.24) years. Among all the participants, 196 participants had the first homosexual behaviors over 18 years of age (65.33%), 107 participants were insertive partners (35.67%), and 125 participants received sex-transmitted diseases (STDs) tests in the past six months (41.67%). The mean score for recognizing the risk of HIV infection was 12.41±3.09, for HIV antibody test self-efficiency was 17.07±2.12, and for perceived social supports was 17.42±2.41. A total of 287 respondents received HIV antibody tests (95.67%), including 192 participants receiving repeated HIV antibody tests (64.00%). Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that age of >18 years for the first homosexual sex behavior (OR=0.404, 95%CI: 0.223-0.734), receiving STDs tests in the past six months (OR=3.896, 95%CI: 2.145-7.076), sex role as receptive partners or both receptive and insertive partners (OR=0.502, 95%CI: 0.275-0.917), satisfying with HIV antibody test services (OR=2.955, 95%CI: 1.311-6.660), and high score for HIV antibody test self-efficiency (OR=1.149, 95%CI: 1.005-1.314) were factors affecting repeated HIV antibody tests among MSM.
Conclusions
The detection of repeated HIV antibody tests was 64.00% among MSM in Wuhan City in 2019, and age for the first homosexual behavior, STDs tests, sex role, evaluation of HIV antibody test services and self-efficiency of HIV antibody tests may be factors affecting repeated HIV antibody tests among MSM.

The fine structure of enoxaparin sodium samples with different degree of 1,6-anhydro derivatives were analyzed with polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, high performance liquid chromatography, ultraviolet spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. A further study of anticoagulation activity of enoxaparins was performed, including those on their inhibition activities of coagulation factor Xa (FXa) and thrombin (FIIa). The results showed that the anti-FXa and -FIIa activities of enoxaparins with different degree of 1,6-anhydro derivatives (20.0%-39.7%) with similar structure characteristics, had decreasing tendency when the degree of 1,6-anhydro derivatives increased. Especially, the anti-FXa activity was sensitive to the change of the degree of 1,6-anhydro derivatives.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the genome-wide methylation differences between coronary heart disease (CHD) patients and healthy volunteers, and to investigate the relationsip of DNA methylation with CHD from epigenetics. METHODS:In case-control study, subjects were divided into CHD group(50 cases)and health control group(50 cases). DNA of 2 groups were sequenced with methylated DNA immunoprecipitation sequencing technology. The genome-wide methylation differences were analyzed and compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:The number of methylation peak in CHD group was higher than health group, with statistical signfi-cance(P<0.05). The methylation peak mainly distributed in 5'UTR,Intron functional elements. The number of reads in AQP1,SHB and other gene promoters in CHD group were lower than health group, and its methylation level decreased. The number of reads in GRK5 and serveal gene promoters on chrX in CHD group were higher than helath group, and its methylation level increased, with sta-tistical significance(P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS:The genome-wide methylation level of CHD patients are higher than those of healthy volunteers. The occurence of CHD is possibly associated with the change of methylation level of related gene promoters.

BACKGROUND: Total hip arthroplasy is an effective method to treat hip disease caused by ankylosing spondylitis. Long-term fol ow-up studies have shown that there have been hip function problems after total hip arthroplasy, and it stil lacks of perfect rehabilitation programs. OBJECTIVE: To systematical y review the influential factors for dysfunction after total hip arthroplasy in ankylosing spondylitis patients. METHODS: The first and second authors retrieved PubMed and Sciencedirect Databases, CNKI, and Wanfang digital database for relevant articles published from January 1970 to July 2015. The key words were “arthroplasty, replacement, hip, spondylitis, ankylosing, function”. Final y, relevant articles were included. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: A total of 40 articles were summarized, including 8 Chinese articles and 32 English articles. After total hip arthroplasy, hip function problems were mainly associated with patient’s factors, disease, surgery, prosthesis, postoperative recovery and postoperative complications. Avoiding above relevant factors can improve joint function after total hip arthroplasy for ankylosing spondylitis patients, and improve patient’s quality of life.

To investigate the diagnosis and surgical treatment of inraspinal tumors.
The clinical data of 246 patients with inraspinal tumors who had undergone operations in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University Medical Col ege between January 2010 and January 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. The treatment and prognosis of inraspinal tumors were reviewed.
262 operations were performed, with posterior bilateral laminectomy approach in 202 cases, semi-laminectomy approach in 28 cases, laminoplasty approach in 10 cases, and lateral resection of extra-vertebral canal dumbbel shaped tumors in 22 cases. The short-term remission rate of the nerve root pain reached 95.0%(133/140), and the improvement rates of the sensory disability, motor disturbance, and sphincter dysfunction were 85.6%(125/146), 86.7%( 136/157), and 84.6(11/13) respectively. The ASIA nervous function scores and grades at the last fol ow-up were significantly superior to those before and 3 months after the operation in 236 patients.
Intraspinal tumors are mostly benign. The clinical appearance of them should be watched closely, and thorough physical check-up should be performed. MRI is the examination of choice at early diagnosis. The key to improve the treatment effects is to perform operations as soon as possible.

In order to improve the efficacy of modified inferior method or middle method of radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) in the treatment of atrioventricular node reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT), the clinical data of 325 cases of AVNRT from March 1992 to Feb. 2000 being subjected to the treatment of RFCA were retrospectively analyzed. The results showed that the successful rate was increased and recurrence was decreased year by year. In the recent 4 years the effective rate was up to 100 %. The complication of three grade of AVB occurred in 3 % and recurrent rate in 9.1 % before March 1996, but both of them were zero in the last 3 years. The time of RFCA procedure and X-ray exposure was significantly reduced. It was concluded that ablating more than 3 targets by modified inferior method or middle method with energy titrating and strict endpoint was the crux of obtaining satisfactory therapeutic effects and preventing recurrence.
