Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 1989;0(01):-
A strain of actinomyces (named as 218 powder) was seperated from snail-inhabitated soil and was identified as streptomyces diatatochromogenes. The corrected mortality rate of snails exposed to 0. 1 % concentration of the shaking fermentation liquid was 96% -100%, and that of the snails exposed to 10 mg/L of 218 powder as industrial product for 48 h in the laboratory was 98.0%. The hatching rate of snail eggs exposed to 100 mg/L of the bacterial powder for 48 h was 9. 0%. The corrected mortality of snails exposed to 75 mg/L of bacterial powder for 48 h in the field was 96. 9%, and this biological molluscicide did not damage plants but had some slow acting toxicity to fish.
2.A Preliminary Pharmacodynamic Study on the Preparation of Artificial Fel Serpentis and Bulbus Fritiliariae Cirrhosae
Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2001;12(2):95-97
The preliminary pharmacodynamic studies of the prepar ation of artificial Fel Serpentis and Bulbus Fritiliariae Cirrhosae and Shedan Chuanbei San (composed of natural Fel Serpentis and Bulbus Fri tiliariae Cirrhosae) were reported. The results showed that both of the above pre parations could prolong the cough latency and decrease cough frequeucies induced by ammonia within 3 min, promote the excretion of respiratory tract, increase the excretion of phenol red and inhibit auricular edema induced by xylol in mice. M eanwhile, the above two preparations could also inhibit Ach-induced tracheospasm in vitro. Therefore, the replacement of natural Fel Serpentis with the artificial in the preparation of Shedan Chuanbei San is reasonable.
3.Correlation between formation of portal vein tumor thrombus and liver cancer stem cells metastasis
Journal of International Oncology 2008;35(7):527-530
Recent studies about stem cells show that the formation of portal vein tumor thrombus(PVTT)is closely relative to the metastasis of liver cancer stem cells induced by portal vein microenvironment.Liver cancer stem cells first detach from the primary tumor, extravasate to extracellular matrix, stimulate angiogenesis or intravasate and migrate through the systemic circulation, evade host defense mechanisms, migrate to specific blood vessel sites through chemo-taxis and attach to blood vessel wall, then extravasate through blood vessel and home to specific microenvironment and to form PVTT.
4.Effect of occupational injury on quality of life: 234 cases in the mining area of Tongling, Anhui
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;11(34):6915-6920
BACKGROUND: Quality of life, which is induced as a completely evaluating system to reflect new healthy viewpoints and medical patterns, plays a key role in supplying traditional therapy and evaluating rehabilitation efficacy in occupational injury.OBJECTIVE : To analyze the effects of occupational injury on quality of life in mining area of Tongling, Anhui.DESIGN: Case contrast questionnaire, Logistic single factor analysis and multiple factors analysis.SETTING: Workers General Hospital of Tongling Nonferrous Metal Group; Mining Safety Office of Tongling Nonferrous Metal Company.PARTICIPANTS: A total of 234 subjects with occupational injury were selected from four subgroups of Tongling Nonferrous Metal Company from January 2000 to December 2005 and regarded as the occupational injury group.Injured grade was evaluated by the department of safety in production. In addition, 206 employees of the same sex were regarded as the control group. All subjects provided the confirmed consent.METHODS: Questionnaires were finished in December 2006. Besides those whose educational level was lower than primary school or illness state was severe, their questionnaires were filled by somebody else through asking the feelings, and other subjects filled in the questionnaires by themselves. ① Social demography characteristics were surveyed in the two populations. ② The World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment-100 (WHOQOL-100), which was characterized by excellent reliability, validity and sensitivity, was used to survey influencing factors (sex, age, occupation, educational level, marriage, smoking, drinking, pay, type of work in production, grade of occupational injury, injured site and type, other diseases, average income of per family member, housing area of per family member, accidental types, character styles, sleeping status, etc.) and various dimensions reflecting quality of life [physiological function (body ache, vigor, sleeping), mental state (well-being feels, confidence, and other three aspects), independence (daily living ability, work ability, and other two aspects), social relationship (interpersonal relation, social communication, and other one spect), material life (reliability, housing environment, and other eight aspects) and faith (individual faith)]. There were 24 aspects and every aspect included four items; in addition, there were 4 items in general healthy status. Therefore, there were 100 items in total. LinearitY method was used to score each item (from 1 tc 5 points). Self-scored quality of life had only one item, which was scored based on hundred-mark system. ③ Quality of life of subjects in the occupational injury group was analyzed with one-way analysis of variance. Variously dimensional indexes of quality of life in 6 fields were regarded as dependent variance, and effect factors were regarded as independent variance. The data were analyzed with multiple stepwise regression analysis.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Characteristics of social demography; ② scores of variously dimensional indexes of quality of life; ③ correlation between quality of life and effect factors in occupational injury group.RESULTS: All 234 patients in the occupational injury group and 206 subjects in the control group were involved in the final analysis. ① There were no significant differences in sex, age, occupation, educational degree, working duty, marriage, drinking, smoking, pay, having other diseases and occupational types between the two groups (P > 0.05). ②Scores of physiological field, independence field and total quality of life were lower in the occupational injury group than those in the control group (P < 0.05). ③ Effect factors on quality of life in the occupational injury group contained intoxication and asphyxia; ankle, foot and cranial injuries; avulsed wound and task degrees. Multiple factor analysis demonstrated that quality of life of patients in the occupational injury group was affected by waist injury, pay level and relationship with colleagues and family member.CONCLUSION: Quality of life is inferior in the occupational injury group to that in the control group. The effect factors are mainly focus on injured sites, accident and injured types, economic status and relationship with society and family member.
5.Research Progress in Seeding Cells of Peripheral Nerve.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(2):470-474
Seeding cells play an important role in the peripheral nerve damage repair. Seeding cells studied conse- quently in peripheral nerve are Schwann cells, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and neural stem cells. Schwann cells, the first seeding cells, are various unique glial cells in the peripheral nervous system, which can form the myelin sheath for insulation and package of the neuron projecting axons in the peripheral nervous system so that the conduction velocity of the nerve signal was accelerated. It can be proved that Schwann cells played an important role in the maintenance of peripheral nerve function and in the regeneration process after peripheral nerve injury. The second, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells are the various mesenchymal stem cells mainly exist in the systemic connective tissues and organs. These functional stem cells are often studied at present, and it has been found that they have exuberant proliferation and differentiation potentials. Neural stem cells, mentioned the third in sequence, are the kind of pluripotent cells with multi-directional differentiation, which could conduct the self-renewal function, and generate and differentiate neurons, astrocytes and oligodendrocytes through asymmetric cell division. These three types of seed cells are discussed in this paper.

7.Comparison of BAEPs in three different kinds of brainstem disorders
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(06):-
Objective To compare the brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) in patients with different kinds of brainstem disorders, so as to offer a significative electrophysiological means for diagnosis and differential diagnosis of different kinds of brainstem disorders. Methods BAEP was recorded from 80 cases of vertebrobasilar arterial insufficiency, 56 cases of acoustic neuroma and 47 cases of chronic cerebellar degeneration and compared with that from 50 healthy people. Results The abnormal rates of the three different case groups were 73.75%, 94.61%, 89.36%, respectively. Each group of patients demonstrated their own characteristics with regard to the BAEP. Conclusion Each of the three brainstem disorders has its own characteristics with BAEP.
8.Procedure optimization and realistic option——To evaluate the improvement of efficiency in the new Administration Measures for the Diagnosis and Verification of Occupational Disease
China Occupational Medicine 2022;49(2):121-125
Improving the efficiency of occupational disease diagnosis and verification is conducive to protecting the rights and
interests of workers, better realizing the legislative value pursuit of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention
and Control of Occupational Diseases, and truly demonstrating the spirit of legal fairness and justice. In 2021, the Administration
Measures for the Diagnosis and Verification of Occupational Disease was revised and implemented. The working procedures of
occupational disease diagnosis are adjusted and optimized, and the efficiency of diagnosis of occupational disease is greatly
improved. They include items such as new provisions specifying working time limits; optimize the working mode; the diagnosis of
occupational disease attribution applies to presumptive causality is emphasized and the logical thinking of inversion of burden of
proof is carried out. However, the work efficiency of occupational disease diagnosis does not make a great breakthrough in
quality, mainly manifests in three aspects: difficult to confirm labor relationships, raising the threshold of occupational disease
diagnosis, the administrative field investigation is empty and the diagnosis of occupational disease is complicated. There are
many pre-procedures in occupational disease diagnosis, which restrict the efficiency of diagnosis. In the future, attention needs to
be paid to promote the independent work of occupational disease diagnosis institutions, and through the revision of the Law of the
People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases. Occupational disease diagnosis institutions
should be empowered to confirm labor relationship, so as to lower the threshold of diagnosis of occupational disease and
maximize the protection of the rights and interests of workers.
