1.Effects of 6-benzylaminopurine and α-naphthaleneacetic acid on growth and isoflavone contents of Pueraria phaseoloides hairy roots.
Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2014;30(10):1573-1585
In order to study the effect of phytohormone on growth and isoflavones contents of Pueraria phaseoloides hairy roots, we cultured the hairy roots with different concentrations of 6-benzylaminopurine (6-BA) alone or in combination with α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA). Then we determined the effects of 6-BA alone or in combination with NAA on the growth and the contents of isoflavones compounds and levels of antioxidase activities of hairy roots by spectrophotometry. The results show that 6-BA inhibited the growth, and decreased biomass and total isoflavones compounds of P. phaseoloides hairy roots. Furthermore, the inhibition was increased with the concentrations of 6-BA. Compared with the controls, different concentrations of 6-BA in combination with NAA 2.0 mg/L could inhibit the growth of hairy roots and decrease the content of total isoflavone compounds, and also significantly enhanced the contents of soluble protein and levels of peroxidase (POD) activities, but decreased the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD). DNA ladders detected by agarose gel electrophoresis can be observed after hairy roots of P. phaseoloides were cultured with 6-BA alone for 30 days, but can appear on the 20th day after culture with 6-BA in combination with NAA 2.0 mg/L. This result indicates that 6-BA or 6-BA in combination with NAA can both stimulate appearance of programmed cell death (PCD), and NAA may play a synergistic role on PCD.

4.Intervention studies based on the strength model of self-control:A review
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2015;(5):366-371
The strength model of self-control suggests that the exertion of self-control depends on a limited resource. Intervention studies over the years have aimed to improve participants'self-control via increasing their ca-pacity for the resource or decreasing their consumption of it. We conducted a review of the literature to provide summarized updates on the advances made in the intervention studies that have been conducted based on the strength model. The findings suggest that various behavior-training methods can build greater capacity for self-con-trol resource. Meanwhile, several behavior-training methods, mindfulness, and ingestion of glucose may also effec-tively slow down or enhance the recovery of ego-depletion. Future studies may further explore the mechanisms through which the behavior-training exert its positive influence. Similarly,to improve the ecological validity,it is recommended that future studies pay more attention to a wide range of self-control tasks. Qualitative studies are also wanted. Additionally,to improvethe daily life applications of the various intervention techniques, these sorts of stud-ies have the propensity to improve the practical significance of the strength model of self-control.

From 3 days to 4 weeks, the expression density of FⅧR:Ag in the lesions increased (P
8.Changes of function and expression level of angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor after sympathectomy in juvenile rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
Objective To observe the effects of sympathectomy on the function and the expression level of angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor(AT_(1)R).Methods Newborn male Wistar rats' sympathetic nerve was destroyed by 6-hydroxydopamine(6-OHDA),and then following parameters were observed after 11 weeks: pressor and vasoconstrictive effects of AngⅡ,the affinity of -AngⅡ to AT_(1)R in myocardium, the level of mRNA expression of AT_(1)R in vessel smooth muscle. Results The pressor and vasoconstrictive effects induced by AngⅡand the mRNA expression of AT_(1)R in vessel smooth muscle enhanced substantially in adult rats who had been performed sympathectomy at juvenile period. There was also an enhancement in B_(max) of AT_(1)R in myocardium of the rats performed with sympathectomy, while no change occurred in K_(D).Conclusion In rats performed with sympathectomy, the expression level of AT_(1)R rises remarkably. The pressor and vasoconstrictive effects induced by AngⅡenhance consequently. These might be the reasons that blood pressure and heart rate do not reduce after sympathectomy.
9.Application of graft eversion anastomosis technique in aortic surgery
Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2021;37(3):188-192
Due to the emergence of various treatment methods for aortic diseases, the treatment methods of anastomosis have become diversified. The anastomosis of the graft distal eversion partly inserted into the aorta or graft inversion wholely inserted into the aorta increase the joint area between them, and it obviously reduces the impact of tidal blood flow and the lateral force on the anastomosis. Therefore, it has the outstanding advantages of reducing the risk of hemorrhage after anastomosis, simplifying the intraoperative suture operation and easy treatment of anastomotic hemorrhage.Similar techniques with different names are often used in the surgical treatment of aortic lesions and have achieved good anastomosis. In this paper, the concept is uniformly referred to as " Graft Eversion Anastomosis Technique" , and its application evolution in aortic surgery is systematically expounded, so as to further deepen the understanding of the technology.
10.Advances on association between indoor air pollution and 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine in human urine
Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine 2022;39(4):465-469
8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) in human urine is a marker reflecting oxidative stress and DNA oxidative damage. People spend 80%-90% of their life indoors; therefore, indoor air quality is directly related to human health. In this paper, the urinary 8-OHdG levels were presented in populations grouped by different demographic characteristics, lifestyle, occupational exposure, and health status, and elucidated indoor pollutants affecting human urinary 8-OHdG level, such as pollutants from outdoor sources, smoking, indoor combustion and cooking fumes, the chemicals in interior decoration materials, and building foundation soils. The article aims to provide a theoretical basis for predicting the impact of indoor air pollution on human health (DNA oxidative damage and related diseases) by measuring the concentration of 8-OHdG in human urine.
