2.Pathological changes and tissue repair methods of hallux valgus
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(50):9958-9961
The pathological changes of hallux valgus are diversity, including adduct of metatarsus primus, increasing of the intermetatarsal angle between the first and second metatarsal bones, increasing of hallux valgus angle, dislocation of sesamoides, lost of soft tissue balancing. X-ray is the most important method to measure the pathological changes of hallux valgus. The multiformity of hallus valgus pathological changes makes manner of repairing variety. The main methods include operation on soft tissue, osseous surgery, fusion of joint and figuration of joints. The selection of the surgical methods should be individualization according to the idiographic pathological changes of hallux valgus patients.
3.Status Survey and Analysis on Package Inserts of Chinese Patent Drug
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(3):117-120
Objective To put forward suggestions for improving the writing standards of package inserts of Chinese patent drug in China. Methods Totally 84 package inserts of Chinese patent drug were chosen randomly. The labeled items in them would be investigated and analyzed according to legal documents in China. Results The rate of complete labeled items was 0%. Meanwhile, many problems existed in the items which affected medication safety seriously. In addition, there were defects in expression of the content, revision of package inserts of Chinese patent drug and so on. Conclusion It is urgent to improve the writing standards and the completeness of the labeled items as well as the scientificalness on the expressions of package inserts of Chinese patent drug.
4.EFFECTS OF THE COMBINATION OF ASPIRIN AND VERAPAMIL ON PLATELET AGGREGATION AND THROMBOGENESIS
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
The effects of Verapamil ( Ver ) . Aspirin ( ASA ) and ASA+ Ver on platelet aggregation and generation of thrombosis were studied. ASA and Ver inhibited rabbit platelet aggregation in vitro and rat platelet aggregation in vivo induced by ADP, also prolonged the occlusion time of thrombosis that was induced electrically in the carotid artery of the rat, and reduced the death rate resulted from pulmonary thrombosis that was induced with inducer composed of collagen and epinephrine iv in mice. The effects of Ver and ASA were markedly increased when combined, meanwhile all showed good dose-dependant manner.
5.Effect of low-dose erythromycin combined with salmeterol-fluticasone in stable COPD with remission stage of life
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(2):255-257
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of low-dose erythromycin combined with salmeterol-fluticasone in the treatment of stable COPD, focus on the quality of life and respiratory function of patients. Methods 87 patients with stable COPD admitted to Hangzhou Red Cross Hospital from January 2014 to January 2016 were selected.Patients were divided into two groups by therapeutic methods, observation group ( salmeterol-fluticasone+erythromycin) 46 cases and control group (salmeterol-fluticasone) 41 cases.Six months of treatment, the quality of life of two groups of respiratory function assessment, acute COPD and peripheral inflammatory factor and other indicators of change. Results After treatment, both of the two groups got significantly decreased in SGRQ and MMRC scores, while the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, FEV1/FVC%levels were significantly increased in both groups, but the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The cumulative incidence of acute exacerbation of COPD was 10.87%(5/46) in the observation group, which was significantly lower than that in the control group 29.27%(12/41), the difference was statistically significant(Log-rankχ2 =4.833, P=0.028).After treatment, the levels of IL-1βand TNF-αin the peripheral blood of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of stable COPD, low-dose erythromycin could significantly improve the clinical efficacy, improve the quality of life and respiratory function.
6.Monitoring and Analysis of Sterilization Effect in Hospital
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 1994;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE To understand the status of sterilization in our hospital to provide the evidence for control of nosocomial infections.METHODS The quality of air sterilization, disinfectant liquid in use,the effect of autoclave sterilization, staff's hands and the object′s surface in 29 clinical departments of the hospital were monitored.RESULTS In 2006,the qualification rate of air sterilization was 70.74%.The qualification rate of disinfectant liquid and autoclave sterilization were 88.03% and 93.71%,respectively.CONCLUSIONS We should strengthen the monitoring of hospital sterilization, apply monitoring data reasonably and discover all kinds of risks for nosocomial infections in time to decrease the incidence rate of nosocomial infections.
7.Drug Resistance Supervision and Pathogenic Distribution of Gram-negative Bacilli
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 1994;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE To study the constituent ratio and drug resistance of Gram-negative bacilli to draft preventive and control measures.METHODS The sputum and lower respiration secretion of 354 patients infected with Gram-negative bacilli were cultured by routine methods.Disk diffusion test was used to analyze drug resistance.RESULTS The isolating rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa(25.7%) was the highest. Then was Klebsiella pneumoniae, accounted for 21.5%.Except for Haemophilus influenzae, the other Gram-negative bacilli were resistant to the routine drugs in different degrees. The detection rate of extensive-spectrum beta-lactamases(ESBLs) producers in K.pneumoniae and Escherichia coli were 38.2% and 36.7%,respectively.CONCLUSIONS It is very necessary for clinical microbiology department to monitor pathogens to provide the scientific evidence for clinical usage of the antibiotics.
8.Role of regulatory B cells in chronic infectious diseases
Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2021;41(4):327-332
Regulatory B cells(Breg) are a subgroup of B lymphocytes and characterized by their immunosuppressive capacity. The regulation of immune response by Breg plays a critical role in the mouse and human immune systems. Previous studies on Breg mainly focus on autoimmune diseases and tumors, but in recent years, the role of Breg in chronic infectious diseases has attracted attention. This review summarized the phenotypes, modes of action and the role of Breg in the process of chronic infectious diseases aiming to provide a new sight for research on immunotherapy for chronic infectious diseases.
10.Biological research evaluating the Chinese medical theory of the association of the kidney with the ears.
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2012;10(2):128-34
ABSTRACT: "Association of the kidney with the ears" is central to the traditional Chinese medical (TCM) theory of the viscera and their manifestations. Previous studies have shown that thyroxin, aldosterone, calcium and iron might be the material basis of the correlation between the kidney and the ears. Due to restriction in research techniques and methods, there has been no further progress in this research field, whose modern biological mechanisms and scientific connotations have not been explained clearly. In recent years, the progress of biological techniques and research on kidney essence provided promising opportunities for research of the association between the kidney and the ears. This article summarized the study progress of "association of the kidney with the ears" theory and posed some meaningful study thoughts. Presbycusis is a kind of degenerative disease caused by aging, which is one aspect of aging of the human body. Because aging is considered as physiological "kidney deficiency", presbycusis can be regarded as a model of "kidney deficiency" deafness. In conclusion, investigating the correlation between "kidney deficiency" and presbycusis using biotechnology systems combined with "essence of kidney", should provide a sound basis for study of the theory of the relationship between the kidney and the ears. This will provide new and valuable information for the modern biological research about the theory of visceral associations in TCM.
