Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2017;25(3):257-260
Objective To study sensorineural hearing loss classification and incidence of inner ear malformations based on the image of high-resolution computed tomography. Methods The investigation took the form of a retrospective review of CT findings relating to the 5 398 ears of outpatients in the general PLA hospital in the last 10 years. The inner ear malformations diagnosed by CT were classified according to the methods proposed by Sennaroglu's 2010.Results A total of 1 640 ears of inner ear malformations were found in 5 398 ears with sensorineural hearing loss by CT examination. The incidence of the inner ear malformation was 30.38% (1 640/5 398).The epidemiological information of 1 660 ears of inner ear malformation according to Sennaroglu's classification was as follows: cochlea information was 53.66%(880/1 640)and non-cochlea information was 46.34%(760/1 640)of the group.Eight hundred and eighty ears of cochlea malformation consisted of these types: 5 ear of Michel deformity, 23 cochlea of aplasia, 6 common cavity deformity, 69 cochlea of hypoplasia with 19 CH-I , 16 CH-II, and 34 CH-III, 777 cochlea incomplete partition with 44 IP-I , 703 IP-II and 30 IP-III.Seven hundred and sixty ears of non-cochlea malformation consisted of 680 large vestibular aqueducts, 80 simple vestibular/ semicircular canal/ internal auditory canal malformations.IP-II type and large vestibular aqueduct were related to the vestibular aqueduct malformation, making up 84.33%(1 383/1 640)ears of the whole malformation group. Conclusion The results suggest that 30.38% inner ear malformation can be found in ears with sensorineural hearing loss, higher than reported based on the image of high-resolution computed tomography.Sennaroglu's 2010 classifications have instructive significance in investigating the status of inner ear malformations.
2.Current situation of glove perforation during surgical operation
Chinese Journal of Infection Control 2014;(10):626-628,631
Objective To realize the current situation of glove perforation during surgical operation process, and provide basis for preventing surgical glove perforation. Methods In January 2014,an investigation on glove perfo-ration was conducted among operation personnel in 9 operating rooms in a hospital, glove perforation rates, sites, causes and noticed ways were analyzed. Results A total of 2 909 person-time was investigated,147 person-time oc-curred glove perforation,person-time rate of glove perforation was 5.05%;153 of 5 818 gloves (2.63%)were per-forated,6 person-time occurred perforation of double gloves;gloves perforation rates of each specialized surgery were significantly different (χ2=87.945,P<0.001),cardiac surgery(11.84%)and plastic surgery(10.78%)had the hight perforation rates. The common sites of perforation were index finger, thumb, and middle finger, the main cause of perforation was sharp damage by stitches and devices. Most perforations were noticed intraoperatively, and seldom found postoperatively by naked eyes;gloves of different brands had different perforation rates(χ2=33.845, P<0.001).Conclusion In order to reduce and prevent the perforation during operation process, glove brands with good quality should be chosen, and measures for the prevention of glove perforation should be formulated according to the types of surgery.
3.Relationship between alexithymia and patients' satisfaction in anterior esthetic restorations
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2011;20(5):431-433
Objective To analyze the relationship between alexithymia and patients' satisfaction under the condition of good quality in the esthetic characters. Methods 211 patients requiring single anterior tooth restoration were treated with all ceramic crowns which were assessed by the good and moderate degrees. Patients received 20-item Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) and a visual analogue scale assessing patients' satisfaction (VAS). Chi-squared analysis, correlation analysis and the general linear modeling procedure were calculated for TAS total and factors scores according to age, gender and dichotomized satisfaction. Results 85. 3% patients belonged to the high satisfaction group(VAS scores 80 or higher) and 7.1% reported alexithymia ( total score 61 or higher). No difference across gender was observed in the prevalence of alexithymia and satisfaction. Age was correlated with the TAS scores ( r=0.629) and satisfaction scores ( r= -0.429). According to dichotomized satisfaction,TAS total and factor 1&2 scores were significantly different. When adjusting for the effect of age,the association was existed between TAS scores and san'sfaction( r= -0.68). Conclusion Alexithymia has effect on dental satisfaction.
4.Expression of CD44V6 and p53 gene mutation in human ovarian carcinoma
China Oncology 1998;0(01):-
Purpose:To investigate p53 gene mutation, CD44V6 expression and their relationship with metastasis of ovarian carcinoma in tumor diagnosis. Methods:PCR SSCP with silver staining was used to detect the mutation of p53 gene; by using Southern blot and image analysis, the quantitative and qualitative expression of CD44V6 were also determined. Results:The positive percentage of CD44V6 expression and p53 gene mutation was not detectable in any of the normal ovarian specimens but in the benign tumors, non metastasizing and metastasizing carcinomas it was 10%, 75%, 88% and 5%, 40%, 60% respectively. The mean dark density of each band in these four groups(mentioned above) was 85.25?23.16, 817.11?126.5, 3820.14?289.43 and 10132.92?1521.20 respectively. The expression of CD44V6 of metastasizing carcinomas was higher than that of non metastasizing group. Conclusions:The expression of CD44V6 is related to tumor metastasis; the positive percentage of CD44V6 is higher than that of p53 gene mutation in the group of metastasizing and non metastasizing tumors; Compared to p53 gene mutation, CD44V6 is a better marker for tumor metastasis.
5.The history, current status and prospect in the diagnosis and treatment of primary carcinoma of the gallbladder
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2004;0(05):-
Primary carcinoma of the gallbladder(PCG) is the most common malignant tumor in biliary system and its morbility has been rising year by year in our country.Because there is no specific clinical manifestation, patients diagnosed finally as PCG have mostly been in intermediate or advanced stage, thus losing the chance of radical resection of gallbladder carcinoma and having a poor prognosis. In this article we analyze the high risk factors, diagnosis of imageology, study of molecular biology, therapeutic progression and existent problems about PCG,by reviewing the related literature about diagnosis and treatment of PCG and the clinical data of 945 patients with PCG who were treated in our hospital in recent fifty years. We realize that early diagnosis of PCG is still difficult nowadays,it is very significant for secondary prevention of PCG to continue to carry out the foundamental and clinical study of PCG.Combined therapy that mainly includes surgical operation remains cardinal therapeutic management, and gene therapy has gradually developed to become a new therapy and displays favourable prospect of application.
6.THE RESEARCH ON THE PROLIFERATION AND DIFFERENTIATION OF MOUSE PRIMORDIAL GERM CELLS IN VITRO
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
Objective To research on the proliferation and differentiation in vitro of primordial germ cells. Methods We got plenty of primordial germ cells(PGCs) by co-culture of PGCs with sertoli cells(SCs).The primary cells formed embryoid bodies(EBs) by suspension culture.furthermore, these EBs were plated on gelatin-coated culture plates for spontaneous differentiation. Results We got plenty of PGCs by coculture.Primary PGCs and passaged PGCs for histochemistry staining with AKP and immunohistochemistry staining for SSEA-1 display positive character. The EBs by suspension culture differentiated into epithelial-like,fibroblast-like and neuronal-like cells in vitro. Conclusion Primordial germ cells can proliferate and keep the character of stem cells by co-culture with SCs.PGCs can form EBs by suspension culture, most of these EBs can differentiate into neuronal-like cells, they also can differentiate into epithelial-like and fibroblast-like cells in vitro.

Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 1987;0(03):-
The methods adopted in this paper were as follows: (1) The cost of the filariasis control was estimated to be direct cost and indirect cost; (2) Using the reduction rate of acute inflarrlmatory attack as the measurable indicator of control effectiveness; (3) Estimating the case number of acute inflammatory attack occurred after control year by year basing on the goodness by fitting in the reduction trend of acute inflammatory attack with hyperbola formula; (4) Assuming that the case number of acute inflammatory attack would be relatively stable at the same level of pre-control if filariasis control measures were not implemented;(5) The benefit from the filariasis control was estimated by transforming the increasing manworking day and sav1ng the mediclne expenses of patients due to the reduction of acute inflammatory attack. By allowing seven percent discount on cost and benefit, the total cost was 21 182 Yuan, the total benefit was 119 859 Yuan, the ratio of cost-benefit was 1: 5. 7,implying that putting in one Yuan to filariasis control in this township may gain benefit 5. 7Yuan.
