1.Models and mechanisms of collective cell migration in cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(9):691-694
Collective migration is the essential movement style in embryonic development.Recent stu-dies have found that collective migration is one of the main movement styles in invasion and metastasis of tumor cells.Tumor cells can invade into the stroma and microvascular in group, and the collective migration shows the unique characters when compared to the single cell movement. The potential mechanisms are closely correlated to the cell-cell connection and interaction between tumor cells and microenvironment. With the gradual improve-ment of the observation models, the mechanisms about the physical or chemical guidance, the related signaling pathways, and the epigenetic regulation in collective migration will be elucidated.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Telmisartan combined with Atorvastatin in treating patients with idiopathic paroxysmal atrial fibrillation(IPAF).Methods 70 cases of IPAF were randomly divided into study group(given treatment of Telmisartan combined with Atorvastatin)and control group(given treatment of Telmisartan),35 cases in each group, all patients got 2 years follow-up visit. The change of CRP and the arrhythmia recurrence were observed after treatment. Results After surgery, patients were better than before, but the efficiency in study group was significantly higher than control group(88.6% vs 68.6%,P <0.05);CRP of the two groups were significantly reduced after treatment, two groups have significant difference(P < 0.05).Conclusion Curative effect of atorvastatin combined with telmisartan on IPAF is better than that of telmisartan treatment and clinical implementation should be promoted.

Dysregulated immune response is crucial for the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease.Recent studies suggested that imbalance among Th1, Th2 and Th17 cells was closely related to the aberrant intestinal immune response.Aims: To investigate the association of imbalance among Th1, Th2 and Th17 cells and Crohn''s disease (CD).Methods: Thirty-six CD patients admitted from Jan.2013 to Dec.2014 at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University were enrolled;40 patients undergoing intestinal polypectomy were collected as controls.Inflamed and normal mucosal tissues were obtained from CD patients and the controls, respectively;expressions of Th1, Th2 and Th17 cells related transcriptional factors (T-bet, GATA-3 and RORγt) and cytokines (IFN-γ, IL-4 and IL-17A) were determined by real-time PCR and immunohistochemistry. Results: In comparison with the controls, mRNA expression of T-bet and RORγt, mRNA and protein expressions of IFN-γ and IL-17A, as well as the ratios for T-bet/GATA-3 and RORγt/GATA-3, which represented balance of Th1/Th2 and Th17/Th2, respectively, were all significantly increased in inflamed mucosal tissue in CD patients (P<0.05).Expression of each of the three transcriptional factors was positively correlated with its corresponding cytokine (P<0.05).IFN-γ+ and IL-17A+ cells mainly located in the intestinal epithelial layer and lamina propria with cytoplasmic immunoreactivities in CD patients. In the stratified analysis, all the above-mentioned parameters were significantly higher in active CD than in inactive CD (P<0.05);furthermore, the ratio for RORγt/T-bet, which represented balance of Th17/Th1, was also increased significantly in active CD (P<0.05).Conclusions: Imbalance among Th1, Th2 and Th17 cells in intestinal mucosal tissue was closely related with CD.Polarization of Th1 and Th17 cells are involved in this process, and Th17 polarization is predominant in active disease.

OBJECTIVETo compare gene expression profile of human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines with different metastatic potentials, so as to screen for metastasis-related genes.
METHODSGene expression profile of MHCC97-L and HCCLM3, two HCC cell lines with similar genetic background but different in spontaneous metastatic potentials, were studied by cDNA microarray.
RESULTSFrom 1,626 screened genes, 25 differentially expressed genes were found, 18 showed decreased expression including the decreased expression of cell cycle control genes Rb2, mismatch repair gene hMSH2, and signal transduction gene protein kinase C beta 2 and 7 increased expression including signal transduction gene MAP kinase kinase 6, cell proliferation gene E25, immunity related gene SP40, 40, etc in HCCLM3.
CONCLUSIONThe genes, being closely associated with cancer metastasis, could be considered as potential markers to predict metastasis and targets for anti-metastasis intervention.

Objective To systematically compare the efficacy of postoperative local incision infiltration and epidural analgesia in the patients undergoing hepatectomy. Methods The Chinese and English databases were searched in November 2017.The clinical trials involving application of local incision infiltration and epidural analgesia in postoperative analgesia in the patients undergoing hepatectomy were included. Results Five studies involving 827 patients were included in this meta-analysis,598 cases received local incision infiltration and 229 cases received epidural analgesia. The results of meta-analysis showed that epidural analgesia provided better efficacy than local incision infiltration during movement at 24 and 48 h after operation. The incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the patients who received local incision infiltration after operation than those who underwent epidural analgesia. The descriptive results indicated that local incision infiltration can shorten the recovery time of intestinal function and length of hospital stay. The results of opioid doses studied in the two groups were inconsistent. Conclusion Epidural analgesia has an advantage over the local incision infiltration in relieving pain during movement, however, local incision infiltration has a lower incidence of adverse reactions in the patients undergoing hepatectomy.

Objective To investigate the application of body mass monitoring APP in continuation care of discharged patients with chronic heart failure (CHF).Methods From June, 2016 to June, 2017, 84 patients with CHF were randomly divided into control group and research group with 42 cases in each group. After discharge, the control group received routine continuation nursing and the body mass monitor APP was used to monitor the body mass and continue nursing in the research group. Results After six months of discharge, the N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) level, and the score of Minnesota Life Heart Failure Quality (MLHFQ) were significantly lower in the research group than in the control group (t>4.712, P<0.001). The number of repeat hospitalizations was lower in the research group than in the control group (χ2=7.714, P<0.01).Conclusion The body mass monitoring APP could improve the symptoms of heart failure and reduce the readmission rate of discharged patients with CHF in continuation care.
