Objective To study MRI features of tanycytic ependymoma (TE)in central nervous system,to improve the further understanding of this rare tumor.Methods 26 cases with TE of central nervous system proved by pathology and surgery were analyzed retrospectively in terms of location,size,signal intensity,the presence or absence cyst,hemorrhage,“cap sign”,syringes,edema, implantation metastasis and enhancement pattern etc.Results In 26 cases,2 cases were located in the left frontal lobe,with macro-cyst and micro-nodules,and the left ventricle was interlinked.The signal of cystic region was similar to CSF,and nodule-regions were a bit iso-intensity signal on T1 WI and hypo-intensity on T2 WI with significantly enhanced.The other 24 cases were located in the spinal cord,in which 1 6 cases were in the cervical and thoracic cord.1 case of cystic masses had hemorrhagic fluid level,the others were solid masses with iso-intensity signal on T1 WI and iso or bit hyper-intensity signal on T2 WI,in which 4 cases with hypo-intensity signal on T2 WI and cystic were seen frequently,cystic were common,and 6 cases with “cap sign”.Most of masses were medium enhanced and 1 2 cases were well-defined.1 3 cases with syringomyelia and 1 case with the medulla oblongata and cerebellum implantation.The lesions located in thoracic and lumbar cord in 8 cases with iso-intensity signal on T1 WI and iso or bit hyper-intensity signal on T2 WI, in which 4 cases were hypo-intensity signal on T2 WI,and 3 cases showed small round cystic changes,and 1 case showed syringomyelia and no “cap sign”.8 cases were medium enhanced.Conclusion TE in central nervous system shows characteristic manifestations on MRI,which are helpful in differential diagnosis and guide for treatment.

The transplants of one-year-old Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. were subjected to five concentrations of MnSO4-H2O (0, 1.81, 18.1, 36.2 and 54.3 mg·L(-1)) culturing in vermiculite. qRT-PCR and HPLC were respectively used to measure the relative expression of SQS1 gene and the content of glycyrrhizic acid of G. uralensis in different concentrations of MnSO4·H2O. This is to explore discuss the effects of the expression of SQS1 gene and the accumulation of glycyrrhizic acid by Mn treatment. The results showed both the expression of SQS1 gene and the content of glycyrrhzic acid of G. uralensis tended to rise after the fall of the first with the increase of concentration of Mn treatment. And they were of very significant positive correlation (P<0.01, r=0.737). Relative expression of SQS1 gene reached the highest 7.90 under 18.1 mg·L(-1) MnSO4·H2O treatment. It was very significantly different between 18.1 mg·L(-1) concentration of MnSO4·H2O treatment and CK (0 mg·L(-1)), 1.81, 36.2 and 54.3 mg·L(-1) (P<0.01), and 1.75, 1.37, 1.37, 2.33 times respectively. The content of glycyrrhizic acid reached the highest under 1.81 and 18.1 mg·L(-1) MnSO4·H2O treatment, and there were not significant difference (P>0.05). It was very significantly different between them and other concentrations of MnSO4·H2O treatment (P<0.01). This study suggests the appropriate concentration of Mn treatment could certain promote the expression of SQS1 gene and the accumulation of glycyrrhizic acid of G. uralensis.

AIM: To examine the changes in immune cells which might be involved in systemic immune dysfunction after severe burns, we detected the sequence of expressed sequence tag in lymphocytes and monocytes of F344 rats post-burn. METHODS: Two pairs of primers were designed depending on the sequence of AI764697.1. SMART RACE technology was employed for amplification of whole sequence. Furthermore, the amplified sequence was testified by Northern blot. RESULTS: A 592bp sequence, which was testified by Northern blot, was suceessfally obtained in our experiments. This product was accepted by GenBank and its accession number is AF244895. CONCLUSION: A cDNA whole sequence in immune cells of F344 rats after severe burns was amplified successfully. More research work should be done to identify the resource, location in genome and function of this product.

Objective To analyze the use of anti-infectives in our hospital pharmacy and to provide basis for rational clinical use of anti-infectives. Methods The analysis was conducted using the methods of defined daily use and order of consumption sum based on the raw data retrieved from Hospital Drug Inventory Management System. Results Anti-infectives using proportion after November droped. The use of varieties followed by the biggest amount of injection cefminox sodium,piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium for injection,cefazolin sodium needles. Medication is the highest frequency of piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium needles,cefminox needle,needle penicillin sodium. Conclusion Use of anti-infectives'situation wholely became stable. β-lactams,Quinolones was our clinical anti-infection treatment leading medicine. The individual frequency of use high variety took the amount rise,and it explained that still waited for the standard in antibiotics use.

OBJECTIVE To take effective disinfection and isolation measures to prevent and control infection after blood sampling and to ensure the safety of the blood donors and the health of the recepients.METHODS Effectively and strictly sterilize and isolate the blood sampling environment,the materials,the donors arms,the medical staff fingers etc;and strictly obey the aseptic technique regulations;and strict sense of disinfection.RESULTS No single case of infection occurred since October,2000.CONCLUSIONS Our measures have prevented and controlled infection after blood sampling;and have ensured the safety of donors.An increasing satisfaction is found from among the donors.More and more citizens are becoming active voluntary blood donors.

Objective To explore the effect of setting up standardized treatment demonstration ward for cancer pain on the management of narcotic drugs. Methods The study group (from 2015 to 2016 to create the standardized treatment of cancer pain ward) and control group (from 2013 to 2014 to create a standardized pain treatment demonstration unit ) all kinds of narcotic drugs dosage and medication frequency (DDDs), a monthly 30 prescriptions from tumor anesthesia, analysis of prescription writing quality qualified the rate and the rate of unreasonable use. Results The study group of patients with cancer pain drug usage and DDDs, oxycodone dosage rises fast, DDDs way ahead, dosage of morphine increased gradually, morphine dosage gradually decreased, transdermal fentanyl DDDs decreased, pethidine dosage remains low. The research group for the passing rate of prescription writing quality 99.3％, the control group of prescription writing quality qualified rate is 81.1％, the research group of narcotic drug use rate was only 4％, reasonable utilization rate is as high as 96％ is not reasonable, unreasonable use of narcotic drugs control group was as high as 18.5％, reasonable utilization rate is only 81.5％ (P<0.05). Conclusion The creation of standardized pain treatment demonstration unit narcotic drugs more reasonable structure, can improve the quality of narcotic drugs prescription writing qualified rate, reduce the rate of unreasonable use, reasonable use of pain medicine has positive significance to ensure patient safety and efficacy of.

Objective To investigate the role of color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI)in the early diagnosis of heterotopic ossification after spinal cord injury.Methods Serial CDFI and X-ray were performed per week in 39 patients with spinal cord injuries who were suspicioned with heterotopic ossification clinically.Results The finding under the CDFI including:losing of the regular lamellar pattern of the muscle fibres,chaotic irregular echogenic pattern,echo-free heamatoma,calcification,and extrinsic venous compression.There was statistical significance of incidence of diagnosis between CDFI and X-ray within a week(PP<0.01).Conclusion CDFI is effective on the early diagnosis of heterotopic ossification.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standard of New Tongzhi surunjiang capsule. METHODS:Qualitative identification of Folium Sennae,Crocus sativus and Colchicum autumnale was conducted by TLC method. The content of gallic acid in the formulation was determined by HPLC. RESULTS:The TLC spots of Folium Sennae,Crocus sativus and Colchicum autumnale were clear and well-isolated. The linear range of gallic acid was 0.155 7～1.401 3 ?g(r=0.999 8) with a mean recovery rate of 101%(RSD=1.64%,n=9).CONCLUSION:The established standard is suitable for the quality control of New Tongzhi surunjiang capsule.

AIM:To explore the effect of angiotensin II ( Ang II) on phenotypic transformation in adventitial fibroblast subpopulations isolated from rat thoracic aorta .METHODS: Vascular adventitial fibroblasts were individually expanded by the method of cloning rings .The isolated cells were identified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reac-tion ( RT-PCR) and immunofluorescence staining .The rat vascular adventitial fibroblasts were cultured in vitro and incuba-ted with or without Ang II.Using the methods of fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR), immuno-fluorescence staining and Western blot , the expression of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) was detected .RESULTS:The spindle cells and round cells were isolated by the method of cloning rings .From passage 3 to passage 8,α-SMA expression was decreased in the spindle cells , and increased significantly in the round cells .Induced by Ang II , the expression of α-SMA was increased in the 2 cell subpopulations, and that in the round cells was significantly increased (P<0.01).The results of Western blot indicated that Ang II stimulated the subpopulation of the round cells to transfer to myofibroblasts . CONCLUSION:Ang II promotes the phenotypic transformation of adventitial fibroblast subpopulations , and the 2 subpop-ulations may play an important role in vascular remodeling and reparative process .
