A total of 256 medical professionals at the hospitals of different levels were interviewed and requested to complete the relevant questionnaires. The findings revealed that the top five unsatisfied items were growth & development, working conditions,doctor-patient relationship, income and social status. The levels of job satisfaction varied with their specific occupations and technical titles.Around two thirds of them once had the thought of leaving their pre-hospital care posts.

Objective:Through statistical analysis the situation of Nanjing General Hospital scientific research articles to be embodied by the international authority retrieval tool, appraises the hospital scientific research level and the academic status, provides the basis for the hospital administratives in the development of medical department and the training of talent aspect. Methods:With the aid of the MEDLINE retrieval method, analyzes all the Nanjing General Hospital scientific research ariticles, the number of articles in Chinese or foreign language and their distributed situation in the domestic and foreign periodicals from 1996 to 2005.Results:The articles embodied in near five-year show increased year by year, especially for the English articles. But the rank from first to fifth periodicals were published in China, and the number of articles in Chinese was beyond it in foreign language. Conclusion:The results show the international communication and the articles in English are value more and more in Nanjing General Hospital. But it is need to increased the number of articles in the external periodicals, especially the periodical be embodied by 《SCI》.They will advance the development the academic status and scientific research level in the hospital.

Objective To investigate effects of volume, distribution and leakage of bone cement in ver- tebroplasty on the adjacent intervertebral bodies using an experimentally calibrated and anatomically accurate fi- nite-element model of elderly L4-L5 vertebral bodies. Methods Computed tomography(CT)scanning was done,at 1 mm intervals,on L4-L5 vertebral bodies of the lumbar spine of an old man cadaver that had no abnormal findings on rnentgenograms. The L4-L5 motion segment data were obtained from the CT scans to establish in computer a three-dimensional finite element model of L4-L5 functional spinal unit(FSU)with the software Ansys 7.0.Compressive load after virtual vertebroplasty on the damaged model, unipedicular and bipedieolar injections and leakage of cement into the intervertebral space, and the resulting endplate and disc stresses of the adjacent vertebral bodies were analyzed in various spatial distributions of the filling material and different loading conditions. An anatomically accurate finite-element model of elderly L4-L5 vertebral bodies was developed. Results The FSU study suggested that changes in stress and strain at adjacent levels were minimal.Furthermore, endplale and disc stresses of the adjacent vertebral bodies were not influenced by bone cement filling volumes or distributions except under bending, whereas asymmetric distribution and leakage of bone cement to the disk increased the stress of adjacent endplates. Conclusion Since asymmetric distribution and significant leakage of cement into the intervertebral space can increase the stresses of endplates of adjacent vertebral bodies and may lead to a fracture, symmetric placement of cement in operation should be achieved and leakage of cement avoided.

Objective To reveal and forecast the incidence trend of Brucellosis, in order to provide acientific basis for future intervention and policy-making. Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze and statistically describe the distribution of the disease in different times, different locations and different (7.0783/10 million to 13.1257/10 million) and Qingxu ( 1.4811/10 million to 8.5241/10 million) were higher, followed by Yangqu county(0 to 5.8232/10 million), Xiaodian(0.8108/l0 million to 2.4229/10 million) and Jinyuan district ( 0.5329/ 10 million to 1.5896/10 million), and the remaining counties(districts) in the annual There were 223 cases of Brucellosis patients from 2006 to 2009 in Taiyuan. Vocational high risk population was farmers, with a total of 140 cases, accounting for 62.78% of the total number of incidence, followed by students and workers, respectively, 13, 14 cases, accounting for 5.83% and 6.28%, other occupational groups, 56 cases,77.58%;28 cases aged above 60 years, accounting for 12.56%;22 cases aged younger than 19 years, accounting identical in the four years, most cases occurred in spring and summer and showing a clear seasonal high. Conclusions The incidence trend of Brucellosis is on the rise from 2006 to 2009. High risk population is farmer, and the number of younger patients is on the rise, we propose strengthen protection for high risk groups.

In the current study, nine flavonoids were isolated and purified from 75% ethanol extract of Selaginella uncinata (Desv.) Spring by column chromatographic techniques over macroporous resin, polyamide, silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and pre-HPLC. On the basis of their physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic data analyses, these compounds were elucidated as cirsimarin (1), nepitrin (2), apigenin-6-C-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-8-C-β-D-glucopyranoside (3), apigenin-6-C-β-D-glucopyranosyl-8-C-α-L-arabinopyranoside (4), apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), 2,3-dihydroamentoflavone (6), 4'-O-methylamentoflavone (7), 2,3-dihydro-4'-O-methyl-amentoflavone (8), and 2,3,2",3"-tetrahydron-4'-O-methyl-robustaflavone (9). Compounds 1-5 belong to flavonoid glycosides and were isolated from the genus Selaginella for the first time.

Objective To study comprehensive nursing meassures for small area of diabetic foot ulcer. Methods A total of 58 patients with small area of diabetic foot ulcer in our department were divided into two groups. The comprehensive nursing group (CN group,30 cases) adopted comprehensive nursing and treatment as follows, surgical dcbridement, infrared radiation of wound surface, sprinkling of growth factors(bFGF and rhEGF),covered by hydrocolloid dressing(Algoplaque). The control group(28cases) received hydropathic compress with 0.5% povidone iodine or 5% furacillin solution.Wound heal-ing progreasion, average healing time and the positive rate of wound germiculture of the two groups were observed. Results The average healing time of the CN group was (29.6±9.4)d,which was shorter than that of the control group,( 39.2±13.5 )d, P < 0.05. Statistical difference existed in the positive rate of wound germiculture at the 7th day and the 14th day between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusions Routine medical treatment and general nursing measures plus surgical debridement, infrared radiation of wound sur-face,sprinkling of growth factors and hydrocolloid dressing possess facilitative healing effect for small area of diabetic foot ulcer.
