BACKGROUND:In recent years, minimal y invasive percutaneous plate fixation has been a selectable method to repair fracture of lower limbs, especial y complex fracture of lower limbs. Its advantages are to reduce the damage to soft tissues, and do not destroy bone nutrient supply vessels. However, there is no unified criterion to select which method in the repair of distal tibial fractures. OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical effects of minimal y invasive percutaneous plate fixation versus open reduction and plate fixation in the repair of distal tibial fractures. METHODS:A total of 60 cases of distal tibial fractures treated with minimal y invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis (n=35) and open reduction and plate fixation (n=25) were selected. The time of surgery was identified by evaluating soft tissue. We should pay attention to the protection of soft tissue in surgery and reasonable fixation method should be selected. After fixation, we guided patients to do active early functional exercise. They were fol owed up and regularly received X-ray reexamination. Operation time, weight loading time, healing time and functional recovery were observed and the clinical therapeutic effects of the two methods were compared. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al patients were fol owed-up after surgery. They were fol owed up for 3 to 15 months. No significant difference in healing time of type A fracture was detected between minimal y invasive percutaneous plate fixation and open reduction and plate fixation. The healing time of types B and C fracture was better in minimal y invasive percutaneous plate fixation group than in open reduction and plate fixation group. These results indicated that minimal y invasive percutaneous plate fixation in repair of tibial fractures, especial y distal complex tibial fractures, is an effective method. The healing rate of fracture was high, but postoperative complications were less.

Objective To study the expression and significance of miR-26a in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Methods The expression of miR-26a in 46 intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC) tissues and peritumoral tissues was detected by quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction (qRT PCR).The intrahepatic eholangiocarcinoma cell line HCCC-9810 and RBE were transfected with miR 26a mimics and miR 26a inhibitors, respectively,by lipofectamine 2000.The growth curves were constructed by the CCK 8 method. The migration and invasion ability was demonstrated by wound healing and transwell assay. The cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry. The potential mechanism was illustrated by Western blotting. Results For the 46 ICC tissues and peritumoral tissues,miR 26a levels were significantly higher in the tumor tissues than in the peritumoral tissues (P<0.05).Vascular invasion,TNM Ⅲ~Ⅳ stage and lymph node metastasis were significantly associated with high miR 26a expression levels (P<0.05),but gender, age, tumor amounts, tumor encapsulation, tumor diameter and tumor differentiation showed no significant association (P>0.05).Enhanced cell proliferation, migration and invasion ability, accelerated G0/G1 phase to S phase transition, activated AKT by PTEN suppression were observed in HCCC-9810 cells with up regulation of miR-26a.Conversely,cell proliferation, migration and invasion ability was inhibited,G0/G1 phase was blocked and AKT was restrained by PTEN increase wkh down regulation of miR-26a in RBE cells.PTEN mRNA in versely correlated with the miR-26a level (r=-0.8272,P<0.01).Patients with a high miR-26a expression had significantly poorer overall survival (P<0.05).A high miR 26a exprcssion, multiple tumors and lymph node metastasis were independent prognostic factors of overall survival (P<0.01).Conclusion Overexpression of miR-26a in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma correlated with clinicopath ological features and overall survival, and it potentially promoted tumor proliferation and metastasis through the PTEN/AKT pathway.

Yinchenzhufu decoction (YCZFD) is a classic formula for treating Yin Huang syndrome, which can improve liver injury caused by cholestasis. However, the mechanism of action of YCZFD still remains unclear. This article used network pharmacology, molecular docking, animal experiments, and molecular biology methods to explore the mechanism of YCZFD in treating liver injury caused by cholestasis. A mouse model of acute cholestasis induced by lithocholic acid was used to investigate the effects of YCZFD on liver injury. The experimental procedures described in this paper were reviewed and approved by the Ethical Committee at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (approval NO. PZSHUTCM190823002). The results showed that YCZFD could reduce the levels of blood biochemical indicators and improve hepatocyte damage of cholestatic mice. Then, multiple databases were used to predict the corresponding targets of YCZFD active components on cholestatic liver injury. An intersection target protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks based on String database and Cytoscape software was used to demonstrate the possible core targets of YCZFD against cholestatic liver injury. The results indicated that core targets of YCZFD include tumor necrosis factor, interleukin-1

Journal of Zhejiang University. Science. B 2006;7(7):596-602
The effects of dietary supplementation with Clostridium butyricum on growth performance and humoral immune response in Miichthys miiuy were evaluated. One hundred and fifty Miichthys miiuy weighing approximately 200-260 g were divided into five groups and reared in 15 tanks with closed circuiting culture system. The animals were fed 5 diets: basal diet only (control) or supplemented of the basal diet with C. butyricum at doses of 10(3) (CB1), 10(5) (CB2), 10(7) (CB3) or 10(9) (CB4) CFU/g. Compared with the control, the serum phenoloxidase activity was significantly increased by the supplementation (P<0.05), acid phosphatases activity was increased significantly (P<0.05) at the doses of 10(9) CFU/g. Serum lysozyme activity peaked at dose of 10(7) CFU/g and in the skin mucus at dose of 10(9) CFU/g. Immunoglobulin M level in the serum and skin mucus was increased except at dose of 10(3) CFU/g (P<0.05). The growth at the dose of 10(9) CFU/g was higher than that of the control (P<0.05). It is concluded that supplementation of C. butyricum can mediate the humoral immune responses and improve the growth performance in Miichthys miiuy.
