1.Mechanism of inhibition of tumor metastasis by breast cancer metastasis suppressor 1
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(6):438-441
Breast cancer metastasis suppressor 1(BRMS1)can suppress the tumor cells metastasis. and significantly reduces the metastasis without affecting tumor growth. The relevant mechanism(s)may be related to intercellular communication, phosphoinositide signal transduction and interaction with NF-KB, and so on. Therefore, exploring the mechanisms of inhibition of tumor metastasis might be helpful for use of BRMS1 as tumor gene therapy.
4.Signal processing of totally digitalized B-ultrasonography
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;0(06):-
Totally digitalized B-ultrasonography is the tendency of the development of ultrasonic medical instruments. Its basic technical characteristic is realizing real-time processing of the extremely huge ultrasonic data with digital electric circuit. This paper summarized the tendency of development and the primary techniques of signal processing, which including dynamic filtering, log amplification, envelope detection and secondary sampling. Furthermore, various techniques in different procedure of signal processing are introduced in detail.

Bulletin of The Academy of Military Medical Sciences 2009;33(6):561-563,566
Objective:To establish hospital infection data sharing and service platform for collecting and issuing the hospital infection data. Methods:The relational database was used to realize data storage and J2EE light structure was employed to enhance the development and the operating efficiency and flexibility of the system according to the principles of Web information system. Results and Conclusion:An open and sharing hospital infection data platform for data processing, retrieving and analyzing was established. The established hospital infection data set and surgery infection data set contained more than 20 000 records. The system provided an effective software platform support for the utilization of hospital infection data and the prevention and control of hospital infection. This article introduces key technologies of the design and realization of the system.

Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(11):-
OBJECTIVE TTo evaluate the clinical manifestations of the laryngeal amyloidosis and its laryngoscopic characteristics.METHODS The clinical data of 11 cases with laryngeal amyloidosis confirmed pathologically was studied retrospectively. RESULTS There were 4 males and 7 females in this study. The age of the patients ranged from 16 to 64 years old (average 43.36?4.16).The duration of symptoms was 4 months to 10 years (average 2.85?0.87 years).Hoarseness presented in 10 patients (90.90%) and dyspnea in 4 patients. The false vocal cord was involved in 8 patients, laryngeal ventricle in 6 patients, true vocal cord in 5 patients and subglottic area in 3 patients observed with fibrolaryngoscope. The appearance of the lesions was mainly described as waxy yellow or yellow-gray submucosal plaques and nodules without ulceration of the overlying mucosa. The laryngostroboscopy demonstrated that the wave of the mucosa and vibration of the involved vocal cords were adynamic or disappeared.CONCLUSION The chief complaint of the laryngeal amyloidosis was hoarseness. Laryngeal amyloidosis is a slowly progressive disease. The lesions commonly involve the false vocal cord, laryngeal ventricle, true vocal cord and subglottic area.

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of Peripheral blood of Toll-like receptor-4 and cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen-4 in patients with essential hypertension. Methods We selected 35 patients with hypertension and 20 healthy people. We used flow cytometry to investigate TLR4 expression levels, and ELISA to detect the expression of CTLA-4. Results TLR4 expression in peripheral blood of patients with hypertension was (8.63 ±1.16)%, significantly higher (5.27 ± 1.25)%.The difference was statistically significant (t = 6.16,P < 0.05); CTLA-4 expression in peripheral blood of patients with hypertension was significantly higher (P<0.05); Hypertensive patients with CTLA-4 positive rate and TC, LDL-C was positively correlated (P<0.05); TLR4 and CTLA-4 was positive correlation (r = 0.886,P < 0.05). Conclusions TLR4 and CTLA-4 were high expression in hypertensive patients with hypertension, and related to hypertension.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(08):-
Fourteen patients with vascular stenosis in carotid artery system were treated using angioplasty and stenting. The stenosis was located at bifurcation in 6 cases, intracranial internal carotid artery in 3, horizontal segment of middle cerebral artery in 3, and original segment of common carotid artery in 2. Depending on the long and degree of stenosis, different types of SMART stents and Biodivysio stents were selected for the endovascular angioplasty via the femoral approach in 13 cases. Balloon dilatation angioplasty was performed in one case. All the angioplasties in 14 cases were successfal. Different improvement was achieved in patients with neurological defects and no stroke was found in NIHSS after endovascular angioplasty. Following up 3 to 14 months, there was no TIA and other ischemic neurological defect. The primary results of our group showed that endovascular angioplasty and stenting are effective and safe for carotid stenosis. It should be one of the favorable choices for the treatment of vascular stenosis in catotid artery system.
