Aim] To summarize and introduce the clinical experience of Chang Qing in the treatment of refractory asthma. [Method] To analyze the clinical experience and academic views of Chang Qing in the treatment of refractory asthma from the perspective of etiology and pathogenesis; and to discuss his basic prescription compatibility and flexible drug-applying characteristics. [Result] According to Chang Qing's clinical experience, while addressing the symptoms, treating the root is badly needed. He insists that in the period of acute exacerbation the adjustment of traditional Chinese medicine dosage should be used to rapidly bring the asthma under control until the symptoms disappear or obviously ease, then nourishing spleen and kidney to reduce the relapse of asthma. [Conclusion] In the aspect of treating the refractory asthma, Chang Qing has got rich clinical experience and effective. methods to relieve the asthma,his clinical dialectic thinking and the originality of prescription are greatly worth learning.

Objective To investigate the changes and relationships between the serum endogenously produced interleukin-10(IL-10),nitric oxide synthase(NOS) and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS) in acute myocardial ischemia and reperfusion.Methods Forty-two rats were randomly divided into two groups: myocardial ischemia and reperfusion group(the control group) and methylprednisolone treatment group.The rats in the control group and methylprednisolone treatment group received intravenous injection of placebo and methylprednisolone before ischemia respectively.The plasma IL-10,NOS and iNOS were detected at 0.5 h after ischaemia and 0.5h,2 h after reperfusion,respectively.Result The plasma IL-10,NOS and iNOS gradually increased at 0.5 h after ischaemia and 0.5h,2 h after reperfusion in the two groups.The levels of plasma IL-10 were significantly higher in the methylprednisolone treatment group in different time points than those in the control(all P

Objective To investigate the etiological factors and treatment of thoraco-gastric perforation (TGP) after esophagogastrostomy. Methods Retrospective analysis was carried out in 16 patients with thoraco-gastric perforation after esophagogastrostomy in our department from March 1974 to March 2004. The etiological factor, clinical feature, experiment test and the method of treatment were compared between TGP and patients of thoracic esophageal anastomosis leak (TEAL). Results Thoraco-gastric perforation occurs within 2～5 days postoperatively. Among these 16 cases, in 8, local necrosis of gastric wall was found which was caused by severe contusion and massive ligature. In 5, were penetrative injury of gastric wall caused by suture needle. In 3,unsuitable purse-string suturing of corner of greater or lisser gastric curvature. Hydropneumothorax occurred after thoraco-gastric perforation. Chest fluid was brown and turbid with putrefactive odor. With medium examination, anastomosis was normal, but medium and air bubbles were found outside of the stomach. Perforation were repaired and covered by pedicle tissue-flap in all cases. 15 cases were cured with no sequence. Conclusion TGP after esophagectomy were correlated with technique of surgery. TGP often occurs early after esophagogastrostomy. Transthoracic repairing of TGP should be done as soon as possible. The healing ratio of reparation was about 93.8%.

With the rapid development of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) technique,the accuracy of radiotherapy has improved,while the pretreatment dose verification has become more complex.Although the experimental measurements,a widely used way to perform dose verification,is accurate and effective,its time-consuming and labor-intensive is still a challenge for physicist.The independent dose verification method such as the depth dose-off axis ratios (OAR) empirical model,Clarkson integral model,convolution model and Monte Carlo model,could partially solve these problems effectively when the accuracy is ensured within a certain range.This approach could save physicists' time to conduct dose recalculation and plan check,and has become the hotspot in the world.This paper,therefore,mainly introduces the correction-based and the model-based independent dose verification methods,and briefly discusses the development of dose verification for IMRT plans.
