1.Research on wavelength matching of therapeutic laser fiber.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2014;38(4):290-314
Medical laser adopts optical fibers as spread media, using laser energy for the purpose of diagnostics and therapeutics. The corresponding industry standard is YY/T 0758-2009 General requirements for therapeutic laser fiber, which requires manufacturers to offer applicable wave length (or spectrum range) of the fiber, and the corresponding minimum transmission efficiency of the wave length. This research focuses on the matching of therapeutic laser fiber and laser source, to support and emphasize the importance and reasonability of relative requirements in YY/T 0758-2009.

3.Fabrication of hydroxyapatite-chitosan composite microspheres and their biological effect study in vitro
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2015;(11):1552-1555
Objective To investigate the influence of HAp-CS composite microsphere scaffold on the in vitro cell behaviors of mesenchymal cells and evaluate its potential application for bone tissue engineering. Methods Nano-hydroxyap-atite (HAp)and chitosan (CS)composites solution were assembled into microsphere scaffold through microfluidic and observed by inverted microscope.Rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were co-cultured in vitro with the microspheres for calculating the adhesion rate for the first 6h.Proliferation rate was measured by cell counting in the next 1,3,6,9 d,respectively, and GraphPad Prism 6 software was used for statistical analysis. The morphology of BMSCs on the surface of HAp-CS composite microsphere was observed by scanning electron micros-copy (SEM)and confocal scanning microscopy. The cells and HAp-CS microspheres were filled into a disc mold and co-cultured for 14 ~21 d to observe the morphology. Results HAp-CS microspheres were observed to be round and with uniform size by microscope. The adhesion rate of BMSCs reached 80% after cultured for 6 h,and proliferation rate reached the highest value when cultured for 6 d.SEM observations showed that BMSCs adhered compactly to the surface of the microspheres, and the microspheres could be connected together through BMSCs.Af-ter co-culturing BMSCs with microspheres for 14 ~21 d,a complete tissue constructs could be formed. Conclusion HAp-CS microspheres are proved to be good scaffolds for promoting BMSCs adhesion and proliferation.Large a-mount of extracellular matrix can be formed to connect microspheres after co-cultured for a certain time, which paves the way for HAp-CS microspheres to be applied for bone regeneration in animal experiments.

Chongqing Medicine 2013;(32):3872-3874
Objective To explore the relationship between the level of matrix metallo-proteinase(MMP)-2 ,MMP-3 ,MMP-9 and matrix metallo-proteinase inhibitor-1(TIMP-1) in the synovial fluid of the patients with knee joint osteoarthritis (OA) and the de-gree of articular cartilage injury and prognosis .Methods 52 patients(knee OA group) were given arthroscopic debridement com-bined with sodium hyaluronate ,diacerein .The levels of MMP-2 ,MMP-3 ,MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in synovial fluid were detected in 52 patients with knee OA and 10 normal controls(control group) by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay .The degree of cartilage inju-ry was assessed with arthroscopy .Results The level of MMP-2 ,MMP-3 ,MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in knee OA group were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0 .01) .The levels of MMP-2 ,MMP-3 ,MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in the synovial fluid were positively correlated with the degree of articular cartilage injury ,and the levels of MMP-2 ,MMP-3 ,MMP-9 and TIMP-1 decreased with the improvement of the disease .Conclusion The measurement of MMP-2 ,MMP-3 ,MMP-9 and TIMP-1 have a certain signifi-cance to early diagnosis ,degree judgment and prognostic evaluation of knee OA .
5.Tamoxifen and fatty fiver disease
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(7):529-532
Tamoxifen has shown definitive effect when used as the adjuvant hormonal treatment in women with estrogen-receptor-positive breast cancer. However, long-term use of Tamoxifen can induce fatty liver disease. It has been proposed that tamoxifen may act throught mechanisms such as inducing triacylglycerol accumulation in mitochondria, abnormal fatty acid oxidation, and antagonizing actions of estrogen on hepatic lipid metabolism. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor lipid profile and liver function, conduct regular ultrasonography and CT examination in patients receiving tamoxifen treatment. Replacing tamoxifen with toremifene oraromatase inhibitors, or using lipid-lowering medicines may help prevent tamoxifen-induced fatty liver disease.
6.The effects of group reminiscence therapy on depressive symptoms in institutionalized elderly: a Meta-analysis
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2017;33(20):1588-1594
Objective To evaluate the effect of group reminiscence therapy on improving the depressive symptoms of the institutionalized elderly. Methods Collecting clinical randomized controlled trials and quasi-randomized controlled trials of group reminiscence therapy for improving depressive symptoms in institutionalized elderly which published from 2000 to November 2016, by searching the Cochrane Library, PubMed, CINAHL, PsycINFO, EMbase, China Biology Medicine, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP, Wanfang Database, Taiwan Academic Online Database and Airiti Library. And reviewing the quality of the studies by using the tools for assessing risk of bias. RevMan 5.3 software was used for data analysis. Results Ten studies(2 randomized controlled trials and 8 quasi-experiments), including a total of 511 cases, were included. The results showed that group reminiscence therapy significantly improved the depression, life satisfaction, and self-esteem of institutionalized elderly (95%CI-1.11--0.56, 0.41-2.05, 1.99-3.82, all P<0.01). There was no statistically significant difference between group reminiscence therapy and usual nursing in relieving loneliness (P = 0.21). Conclusions Group reminiscence therapy can improve the depression in institutionalized elderly, decrease the degree of depression, improve the level of life satisfaction and self-esteem. But in the ease of loneliness has not been confirmed. The randomized controlled trials included in this study were rare and the quality of the literature was low, and large-scale randomized controlled trials of higher quality are needed to confirm this.

9.Effects of ulinastatin on cytoldnes and respiratory index during open heart surgery with CPB
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1996;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effects of ulinastatin on pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines and respiratory index during open heart surgery under CPB. Methods Twenty ASA Ⅱ- Ⅲ patients of either sex (9 males, 11 females) scheduled for elective valve replacement under CPB were randomly divided into two groups of 10 each : control group (C) and ulinastatin group (W) . Patients with hepato-renal dysfunction or taking glucocorticoid were excluded. The patients were premedicated with intramuscular phenobarbital 0.1 g and scopolamine 0.3 mg. Anesthesia was induced with midazolam 0.1 mg?kg-1 , fentanyl 10?g?kg-1 and vecuronium 0.1mg?kg-1 . After tracheal intubation anesthesia was maintained with midazolam and fentanyl. The patients were mechanically ventilated. VT was set at 8-12 ml?kg-1 , RR 10-12 bpm and I: E 1:2. PETCO2 was maintained at 35-45 mg. In ulinastatin group, the patients received ulinastatin 12 000 U?kg-1 of which half was given i.v. before CPB and half was added to the priming fluid, while group C received normal saline instead of ulinastatin. Blood samples were taken from radial artery for determination of plasma TNF-?, IL-6, and IL-10 concentrations and blood gas analysis before operation (T1 ) , 30 min after initiation of CPB (T2), 1 h (T3 ) , 4 h (T4 ) and 24 h (T5 ) after CPB. Respiratouy index (PA-aDO2/ PaO2) was calculated at T1-5 .Results There were no significant differences in sex, age, weight, height, duration of CPB, and aortic cross-clamping time between the two groups. In group C the plasma levels of TNF-?, IL-6 and IL-10 were significantly higher than the baseline values (T1 ) during and after CPB (P
