Objective: To explore the expression of Eotaxin and the effect of histamine in allergic rhinitis model (AR),and aim to explore the pathogenesis of AR. Method:The AR models were established by applicating of ovain albumin in rats. The expression of Eotaxin in nosal mucosa, serum and nasal cavity lavage fluid, were observed before and after treatment of histamine or its antagonist by immunochemistry,RT-PCR and ELISA technique. Result:The expression of Eotaxin in nasal lavage fluid and nasal mueosa increased after treatment of histamine(P<0.05). Contrarily, the expression of Eotaxin in nasal lavage fluid, nasal mucosa and serum decreased after treatment of the antagonist of histamine. Conclusion:Both histamine and its receptor can involve in the pathogenesis of AR by affecting the expression of Eotaxin.

Objective To study the effect of different family nursing methods on major catheter-re-lated complications in cancer patients with peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) during chemother-apy intermission so as to reduce the incidence of complications and prolong the indwelling time and service life of the catheter. Methods We randomly divided 213 cancer patients who were discharged from hos-pital with PICC into two groups. One group(108 cases) routinely came back to our outpatient clinic and the other (105 cases) went to the community for nursing of the catheter. Results The total incidence rate of complications of the group who came back to our outpatient clinic for nursing of the catheter was 13.8%(15/ 108) and the other group was 51.4%(54/105). There existed statistical significance between the two groups (P<0.01). Conclusions There exists correlation between different family nursing methods and catheter complication rate. We suggest patients come back to our outpatient clinic for nursing of the catheter as pos-sible as they can.

Objective To establish a method of SYBR Green Ⅰ FQ-PCR for detecting the expression of miR-202 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells ( PBMC ) and analyze the expression of miR-202 and its clinical significance in MM.Methods Reverse transcription was performed with specific stemloop primer for miR-202,and then FQ-PCR was used to detected the expression of miR-202 in 21 MM patients and 20 healthy people.Data was presented as mean ± standard deviation ( (x) ± s ).Non-parametric Mann-Whitney test was used to analyze the difference between MM group and control group. In addition,1∶ 125 dilution of one test sample was detected by repeated 5 times, and the same sample was tested one time a day for 3 days, repeated 5 each time. The assessment of repeatability of measurements was done by calculating standard deviation and variation coefficient from threshold cycle (Ct).Results FQ-PCR detection of miR-202 in PBMC was amplified by the standard S-curve,with a single melting curve peak and no complex peak, which showed good specificity. The assay showed good reproducibility (intra-assay coefficient 1.2% and inter-assay coefficient 3.2% ) and high sensitivity ( 12.8 pmol/μ1).The expression of miR-202 in MM was 0.014 ( 0.007 - 0.221 ) and 1.844 ( 0.162 - 3.966 ) in normal controls. The expression level of miR-202 was significantly higher in MM than in normal controls (U =48.000,P <0.01 ).Conclusions FQ-PCR provide us a rapid, sensitive and specific method for detection of miR-202.The expression level of miR-202 is higher in MM than in normal controls. It is possible to play a role in MM progress and may be a useful marker to evaluate the development and treatment of MM.

Objective To analyze iodine nutrition and its correlation with thyroid function in pregnant women. Methods A total of 295 pregnant women were enrolled from Jun.to Oct.2016,and detected for serum levels of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH),free thyroxine(FT4) and thyroid-peroxidase antibody(TPOAb) by using electrochemiluminescence analysis, and for urinary iodine concentration(UIC) by cold digestion method according to iodine catalytic effect of arsenic-cerium.Results The median of UIC was 174.90 μg/L.The prevalence of iodine deficiency and iodine excess were 40.00% and 7.12% respectively. The prevalence of TPOAb positivity and thyroid dysfunction in the iodine deficiency group and iodine excess group were significantly higher than those of iodine proper group(P<0.05).The levels of TSH and FT4 of iodine excess group were significantly higher than those of iodine proper group(P<0.05).Conclusion The abnormality of iodine nutrition could be common in pregnant women.Monitoring of UIC and thyroid hormones should be highlighted.

[Objective] Based on the resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging to investigate the abnormal features of the functional connectivity of resting brain neural network in the patients with primary insomnia,by using voxel-wise whole-brain finctional networks analysis of degree centrality (DC) for imaging evidence of neural mechanisms underlying primary insomnia.[Methods] The resting state fMRI were performed in 59 PI patients and 47 age, education, and sex-matched normal healthy subjects.Analysis of DC map changes between the two patient groups and the control group were performed by two sample t test.(threshold at P < 0.05).[Results] Compared with the control group, the patients with PI showed significantly reduced DC value in bilateral medial frontal gyrus (MFG),bilateral anterior cingulate gyrus (ACG),and right insula;and increased DC value in right middle temporal gyrus (MTG),and left cuneus,(CUN),P < 0.05.[Conclusion]Changes of DC value occurred in some region of brain in the P[patient groups when compared with the control group. It was indicated that DC,as a novel resting-state fMRI parameter in the voxel-wise whole-brain functional networks, might be an appealing alternative approach for further study on pathologic and neuropsychological states of PI.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2005;22(1):74-77
Scatter coincident events are the important factor that affects the quality of positron emission tomography (PET) images. In this paper, according to the characters of projection data, a scatter correction method which uses maximum likelihood expectation maximization (MLEM) algorithm based on poisson model is proposed. We compared the sinograms and reconstructed images corrected by MLEM algorithm and deconvolution method respectively. The results indicate that the algorithm proposed in this paper increases the contrast of images while correcting scatter. It is better than the traditional method.
