Objective:Investigate whether adenosine disodium triphosphate for injection can reduce the systemic inflammatory response which induced by cardiopulmonary bypass.Methods:Forty-seven patients scheduled for cardiac surgery over 30 min following CPB were randomly divided into two groups. In treated group(n=23),adenosine disodium triphosphate for injection(2 mmol/L) was added into the prime during CPB, but in control group(n=24), no adenosine disodium triphosphate for injection was added. Blood samples were drawn from the radial artery at the following time points:(1)before CPB;(2)30 min after aortic clamping;(3)30 min after aortic declamping;(4) 12 h after aortic declamping;(5)24 h after aortic declamping.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA) were used to measure the concentration of tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?), interleukin-6(IL-6), in plasma,CK-MB in plasma level were measured too. Results:The concentration of TNF-??IL-6?CK-MB levels in plasma level of two groups showed no difference before CPB. They all had increased by 30 min after aortic clamping(P

Objective This study evaluates the Anti- hypoxic effect of Fo li um Bambusae extract (FBE). Methods The survival time of mice under the conditi on of closed normobaric hypoxia, and those subjected to KCN, NaNO2 and lidoc aine poisoning, and the time of electrocardiograph disappearance after occlusio n of trachea and the duration of continuous gasping in mice after decapitation were used to evaluate the Anti- hypoxic effect of FBE. Results FBE ( 22.5 m g/kg, 45.0 mg/kg, 90.0 mg/kg) prolonged the survival time of mice under the c ondition of closed normobaric hypoxia, prolonged the survival time in mice subj ected to KCN, NaNO2 and lidocaine poisoning and prolonged the time of electro cardiograph disappearance and the duration of gasping in decapitated mice. Conc lusion FBE can increase the anti- hypoxic effect of animals.

【Objective】To observe the effects of bamboo leaf extract(BLE)on cerebral ischemia.【Methods】 Effect of BLE(at the concentrations of 10,20 and 40 mg/kg respectively,iv)on rabbit carotid thrombus induced by cotton thread was observed.Meanwhile, the effects of BLE(at the concentrations of 15,30 and 60 mg/kg respectively,iv)on neurological deficit and cerebral infarct size in rats with middle cerebral arterial obstruction(MCAO),as well as the effects of BLE(at the concentrations of 22.5,45,and 90?mg/kg respectively,iv)on mice stroke index, grasping time of decapitated mice and survival time of mice subjecting to bilateral carotid ligation were also observed.【Results】BLE inhibited rabbit carotid thrombosis, improved neurological deficit and reduced cerebral infarct size in MCAO rats(P

Objective To summarize the results and clinical experience of transcatheter valve-in-valve implantation using domestic self-expanding valve in patients with aortic degenerated bio-prosthesis. Methods From January 2019 to April 2023, the patients who underwent transcatheter valve-in-valve surgery in the Department of Cardiac Surgery of Tianjin Chest Hospital due to surgical bio-prosthesis failure were included. Characteristics of valves, perioperative complications, and hemodynamic manifestations during the early postoperative and follow-up period were analyzed. Results A total of 24 patients were enrolled, including 14 males and 10 females with an average age of 68.17±7.72 years, and the average interval between the two operations was 10.48±4.09 years. All patients were successfully discharged without complications such as coronary artery obstruction and pacemaker implantation, and the average transvalvular pressure gradient was 16.39±6.52 mm Hg before discharge. During the median follow-up time of 16 months, the left ventricular diastolic inner diameter and ejection fraction were continuously improved. Conclusion Transcatheter valve-in-valve using domestic self-expanding valves is safe and feasible to treat aortic bioprosthetic valve failure. Sound patient selection and surgical strategies are critical to achieve good hemodynamics.
