Objective To investigate the efficacy of family therapy in the treatment of adolescent depression and improvement of social performance.Methods 86 adolescent depressive patients were divided into drug therapy group(group A,n =43) and drug combined with family therapy group (group B,n =43) according to the order of inclusion.They were all treated for 12 weeks.Before and after the treatment,they were all evaluated with Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD-24),Personal and Social Performance scale (PSP) and Youth Self-Report scale(YSR).The changes of scores were compared with each other.Results The average scores of HAMD,PSP and YSR in group B before and after treatment was (27.30 ± 4.60) (81.47 ± 1.87) (73.28 ± 1.30) and (15.36 ±3.60) (12.61 ± 2.10) (9.46 ±2.80) (6.30 ± 2.20),(82.76 ± 1.09) (84.51 ± 1.32) (86.51 ±1.32) (92.05 ± 1.72),(71.42 ± 1.45) (69.09 ± 1.33) (67.47 ± 1.47) (64.23 ± 1.90) respectively.The average scores of HAMD,PSP and YSR in group A before and after treatment was (26.90 ± 5.10) (81.45 ± 1.85)(73.26 ± 1.28)and (19.42 ±2.90)(16.43 ±2.60)(13.50 ±3.80)(7.60±2.80),(82.00 ±1.14) (83.67 ±1.23) (85.88 ± 1.27) (87.98 ± 1.35),(72.84 ± 1.29) (70.07 ± 1.26) (68.84 ± 1.54) (66.02 ± 1.55) respectively.The difference of the scores after two-week treatment was significant statistically (P＜ 0.05).The difference of the deduction rate of the scores after four-week treatment was significant statistically (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Family therapy has better and faster efficacy in the treatment of adolescent depression,and it can significantly improve their social performance.

Objective To investigate the influence of comprehensive psychological intervention and cognitive therapy on cognitive function in schizophrenia.Methods A total of 80 patients with schizophrenia were randomly divided into the comprehensive psychological intervention group (group A,n=40)and the cognitive therapy group (group B,n=40).Before and after 8-week treatment,the influence on cognitive function were measured with WAIS-RC,WMS,WCST and TESS were compared between two groups.Results After eight weeks,the intelligence quotient,remembrance quotient ,sustained errors and random errors in group A (110.52±18.03,110.78±1.15.42,15.48±9.82,17.46±13.28) were higher than that in group B (96.64±18.26,102.23±13.4,20.35±11.47,24.92±13.71).The difference between the two groups was found in improving cognitive function in schizophrenia patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion Cognitive therapy could improve cognitive function in schizophrenia,but comprehensive psychological intervention would do much better.

Objective To understand the effects of ambient air pollution on respiratory disease and symptoms among school-age children in Beijing and provide scientific basis for control and prevention of ambient air pollution in order to enhance the chidren's health. Methods The investigation was carried out in 3 areas(A, B, C) with ambient air pollution in different degrees of by different air pollution source in Beijing based on the data of environmental monitoring. 3 primary schools were selected in each investigation area. There were 5 749 observed pupils from 3 area in total. Investigation on respiratory health was performed by using the standard questionaire among pupils of Grade 1-Grade 5 in each school sampled by claster sampling method. Objective To investigate clinical features of microscopic colitis (MC) in the elderly and short-term effect of mesalamine on MC.Methods Totally 116 elderly patients with MC in our hospital were recruited from January 2011 to December 2011.Clinical manifestations,use of MC related drugs (MCRDs),pathological classifications and short-term effect of mesalazine were collected and analyzed.Results MC patients accounted for 27.6 ％ in elderly patients with chronic diarrhea,who presented with mild to middle watery or mucous stool,and only 1.7％ of MC patients accompanied with severe stomach pain.Collagenous colitis (CC) and lymphocytic enteritis (LC) accounted for 31.9％ and 68.1％,respectively in MC patients and 50％ of them had MCRDs taking history.There was a significant difference in short-term effective rate between CC group and LC group at 4 weeks after mesalazine treatment (64.9％ vs.84.8％,x2 =5.929,P=0.015).The effective rate was significantly related with the relief of pathology in LC group (x2 =5.896,P=0.015).The relapse rate had no significant difference between CC group and LC group at 8 weeks after withdrawal of mesalazine treatment (45.8％ vs.34.3 ％,P =0.317).Conclusions MC may be one of the main reasons leading to chronic diarrhea in the elderly.Mesalazine has a better effect for the short-term treatment of MC in the elderly,but the long-term maintenance therapy still needs further study.

Objective To investigate the type of gene mutation and its distribution in patients with thalassemia in Chongqing ,in order to guide prenatal and postnatal care .Methods PCR and membrane hybridization technology for α-thalassemia andβ-thalasse-mia gene detection .Results From September 2012 to September 2013 ,349 thalassemia patients were detected ,including 125 α-thalassemia patients and 211β-thalassemia patients .Based on genotypes ,gene deletions were the most common type of gene muta-tion of α-thalassemia patients .Southeast Asia deletion - -SEA/αα(accounted for 73 .60 % ) and the right deletion -3 .7/αα(ac-counted for 19 .20% ) were the major types of gene deletion .Forβ-thalassemia patinets ,the hot spots of mutation were CD17(A→T) ,CD41-42(-TCTT) and IVS-Ⅱ-654(C→ T) ,which accounted for 29 .38% ,28 .91% and 27 .49% respectively .α-thalassemia combined with β-thalassemia mutations were detected in 13 patients .Conclusion Studing the gene mutation types of thalassemia and its distribution provides valuable information for genetic counseling and clinical therapy in Chongqing .

Objective To study the relationship between parathyroid hormone(PTH)level and central arterial stiffness in patients with high risk of coronary artery disease(CAD) and preserved renal function.Methods Seventy-seven patients with at least one risk factor of coronary artery disease (CAD) were divided into increased arterial stiffness group(n=35) and control group(n=42),based on whether the noninvasive pulse wave analysis index of the central pulse pressure(CPP) was higher than 40mmHg or not.Coronary artery angiography was performed in all cases.Serum intact PTH,calcium,phosphor,and highly sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP) was assessed by radioimmunoassay.Coronary angiography was also performed.Results The patients in increased arterial stiffness group were elder and had higher serum uric acid compared with those in the control group.Forty-four patients were confirmed to have CAD; CAD patients in the stiffness group (n=23) had significantly higher serum iPTH level compared with those in the control group(n=21) (P40 mmHg)after adjustment for age,BMI,hs-CRP,and male gender.Conclusion CAD patients with increased central arterial stiffness and preserved renal function have higher serum PTH level.The serum PTH level is positively correlated with central arterial stiffness,and is the independent risk factor for increased arterial stiffness.

Objective To investigate the relationship of serum ferritin(SF) and acute coronary syndrome(ACS) .Methods ACS group(n= 110) was divided into unstable angina(UA) subgroup(n= 46) ,non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) subgroup(n=30) and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI) subgroup(n=34) according to clinical da-ta ,coronary angiography and electrocardiogram examination .The normal coronary patients provided as control group(n=42) .The levels of serum ferritin ,hs-CRP and serum lipids were determined and the differences of SF among the groups were analyzed .The correlation of hs-CRP ,TG ,LDL-C ,HDL-C ,TC and SF were also analyzed .Results Compared with control group ,the level of SF in UA ,NSTEMI ,STEMI were significantly increased(P<0 .05) .Comparison in the levels of SF in NSTEMI ,STEMI group and UA group had significant difference(P<0 .05) .Correlation analysis indicated that the level of SF were positively correlated with hs-CRP ,TG and negatively associated with HDL-C .Conclusion The level of SF significantly increased in patients with ACS and has a positive relationship with hs-CRP and the disorder of lipid metablism .SF helps in assessing the clinical classification and risk strati-fication in patients with ACS .
