1.A randomized control trial about treating hyperpyrexia of AURI with acupuncture therapy

Objective To observe curative effect of acupuncture treating children acute upper respiratory infections (AURI).Methods According to random digits table,150 children from clinic emergency department were averagely bring into a acupuncture treatment group and a western medicine treatment group.Patients in the acupuncture treatment group received the treatments of acupunctureing one side of “SiGuan”points,bloodletting in apex satyri,and reducing temperature with tepid sponge bath; while patients in the western medicine treatment group received the treatments of taking ibuprofen suspension,using external pyretolysis patches on forehead,and reducing temperature with an alcohol sponge bath.After the treatment,the near future therapeutic effects:the time of pyretolysis,fevering again in 24 hours and convulsion time,and the prostecdtive efficacy:the time of cough continuing,AURI happening again in 3 months and recovery time of appetite were both observed.Results The time of pyretolysis,fevering again in 24 hours,convulsion time,the time of cough continuing,recovery time of appetite and AURI happening again in 3 months of acupuncture treatment group was(15.6±5.8) minutes,(12.7±3.3) hours,(0.6±0.1) times,(2.3±1.8) days,(2.4±1.6)days,and (35.2±3.9) days respectively; and the western medicine treatment group was (25.5±7.3) minutes,(8.6±4.1) hours,(2.1±0.5) times (6.2±2.4) days,(3.8±1.5) days,and (18.4±5.2) days respectively.Comparing between the two groups,P<0.05.Conclusion Acupuncture can significantly decrease the time of pyretolysis,cough continuing,recovery time of appetite and convulsion time,and significantly increase the time of fevering again in 24 hours and AURI happening again in 3 months in patients with AURI.
2.The correlation study on TCM body constitution classification and the reproductive system diseases in young man

Objective To study the correlation between the body constitution classifications of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)and the reproductive system diseases in young man. Methods All 749 objects took physical examination about the reproductive system diseases, filled in the questionnaire of male body constitution, and differentiated TCM classifications of body constitution. Results The incidence rate of redundant prepuce of depressed vital energy constitution and stagnant blood constitution was obviously higher than balance constitution (P<0.01) , the incidence rate of prostatitis of dampness-heat constitution and depressed vital energy constitution was obviously higher than balance constitution (P<0.01), the incidence rate of varicocele of Qi asthonia constitution and stagnant blood constitution was obviously higher than balance constitution(P<0.01), the incidence rate of phimosis of Yang deficiency constitution was obviously higher than balance constitution (P<0.01) , the incidence rote of prospermia of Qi asthenia constitution, Yin deficiency constitution and special constitution was obviously higher than balance constitution (P<0.01) , the incidence rate of erectile dysfunction of Yin deficiency constitution and special constitution was obviously higher than balance constitution (P<0.01) , the incidence rate of sterility of Yang deficiency consZtitution, Yin deficiency constitution and stagnant blood constitution was obviously higher than balance constitution (P<0.01) .Conclusion There were some correlations between the TCM classifications of body constitution and the reproductive system diseases in young man.
3.PITUITARY ADENOMA ASSOCIATED WITH HYPERSOMATOTROPINEMIA AND HYPERPROLACTINEMIA: A CLINICOPATHOLOGICAL STUDY

94 cases of pituitary adenomas were examined with radio immunoassay, immunohis-tochemical technique and electron microscopy. Among them, 36 cases associated with hypersomato-tropinemia and hyperprolactinemia were studied. The results showed that they could be classified into four types: (1) mixed growth hormone and prolactin cell adenomas; (2) acidophil stem cell adenomas; (3) plurihormonal adenomas; and (4) growth hormone adenmoas. The pathological and clinical characteristics were discussed.
4.68Ga-exendin-4 PET/CT for the localization of insulinomas

Objective To determine whether glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor PET/CT with 68Ga-exendin-4 is accurate in localizing insulinomas, by comparing with conventional imaging techniques.Methods In this prospective cohort study, patients with biochemically proven endogenous hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia from March 2014 to November 2016 were recruited consecutively.68Ga-exendin-4 PET/CT, CT, MRI, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and SSTR imaging were performed before elective surgery.Surgical pathology results were considered as the gold standard.Sensitivity based on patient-analysis and positive predictive value (PPV) based on lesion-analysis were calculated and compared using χ2 test and generalized score test.Results A total of 109 patients were recruited (47 males, 62 females;average age (45.1±14.8) years), and 96 of them with insulinomas proved pathologically were included in the main assessment.Thirteen patients with positive 68Ga-exendin-4 PET/CT findings did not undergo surgical intervention.Based on patient-analysis, the sensitivities of 68Ga-exendin-4 PET/CT, CT, MRI, EUS and SSTR imaging for detecting insulinomas were 98.96%(95/96), 81.25%(78/96), 79.41%(54/68), 81.40%(35/43) and 21.84%(19/87), respectively.Based on lesion-analysis, the PPV of the above 5 methods were 100%(102/102), 97.56%(80/82), 95.16%(59/62), 83.72%(36/43) and 90.48%(19/21), respectively.68Ga-exendin-4 PET/CT showed the highest diagnostic sensitivity than others (all P<0.01) and higher PPV than MRI, EUS and SSTR imaging (all P<0.05).Conclusion 68Ga-exendin-4 PET/CT is a highly sensitive imaging technique for detection of insulinoma.
5.Cutaneous intravascular large B-cell lymphoma in China: report of 30 cases and review of literature

Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics and prognosis of patients with cutaneous intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVLBCL).Methods:The data of 30 cutaneous IVLBCL published between January 1989 and May 2019 in China were systematically reviewed. The clinical manifestation, biochemical and imaging characteristics and diagnostic features of patients were summarized, and then the survival of different groups was also analyzed.Results:The median onset age was 61.5 years old (25.0-83.0 years old), and there were 22 (73.3%) females. All 30 patients presented with cutaneous lesions. Initial symptoms showed cutaneous lesions in 16 (53.3%) patients; and B symptom, respiratory symptoms or central nervous system (CNS) occurred in 14 (46.7%) patients with late cutaneous lesions. Cutaneous lesions were heterogeneous, and 76.7% (23/30) lesions located in lower abdomen and proximal limbs. And 76.2% (16/21) were positive in image examination, and 78.3% (18/23) had two or more extranodal organs invasion. The median time from onset to visit was 2.5 months (0.4-24.0 months), and clinical misdiagnosis rate was 56.7%(17/30). All IVLBCL patients were confirmed by biopsy, including 6 cases (27.3%, 6/22) of bone marrow involvement, 1 case (3.3%) of hemophagocytic syndrome-associated variant, and 29 cases (96.7%) of classical variant. Finally, 81.8% (18/22) patients received anthracycline-based combined chemotherapy. Compared with non-chemotherapy group, the median OS time of chemotherapy group was prolonged [11.0 months (2.0-60.0 months) vs. 2.0 months (0.7-24.0 months), P = 0.002]. Patients with CNS symptoms had shorter median OS time compared with patients without CNS symptoms [2.0 months (0.7-6.0 months) vs. 11.0 months (1.0-60.0 months), P < 0.01]. The median OS time in the group of cutaneous lesions as initial symptom combined with other symptoms was longer than that in group of late cutaneous lesions and other symptoms as initial symptom [unreached (2.0-60.0 months) vs. 3.0 months (1.5-24.0 months), P = 0.032]. Conclusions:Cutaneous IVLBCL is a rare disease with atypical clinical characteristics in China. Prompt attention and biopsy in time will be helpful for early diagnosis. Accompanied with CNS symptoms suggests poor prognosis; and timely chemotherapy can improve the prognosis of the patients.
6.Risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic lower anterior resection of rectal cancer and application value of risk assessment scoring model: a multicenter retrospective study

Objective:To investigate the risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparo-scopic lower anterior resection (LAR) of rectal cancer, and the application value of its risk assess-ment scoring model.Methods:The retrospective case-control study was conducted. The clinico-pathological data of 539 patients who underwent laparoscopic LAR of rectal cancer in 13 medical centers, including 248 cases in Renji Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, 35 cases in Ningbo First Hospital, 35 cases in Changzhou Second People's Hospital, 32 cases in the First People's Hospital of Nantong, 32 cases in Linyi People's Hospital, 31 cases in Changzhou Wujin People's Hospital, 28 cases in Jiading District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 27 cases in the First Hospital of Taizhou, 26 cases in Shanghai Pudong Gongli Hospital, 21 cases in the People's Hospital of Rugao, 11 cases in Central Hospital of Fengxian District, 7 cases in Ningbo Hangzhou Bay Hospital and 6 cases in Jiangsu jianhu People's Hospital, from January 2016 to November 2020 were collected. There were 157 males and 382 females, aged (62.7±0.5)years. Observation indicators: (1) follow-up; (2) risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR; (3) establishment of risk assessment scoring model for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR. Follow-up was conducted by outpatient examination or telephone interview. Patients were followed up at 1 week after discharge or 1 month after the operation to detect the anastomotic leakage. Measurement data with normal distribution were represented as Mean± SD, and measurement data with skewed distribution were represented as M(range). Count data were represented as absolute numbers or percentages, and comparison between groups was analyzed using the chi-square test. Univariate analysis was conducted using the chi-square test and multivariate analysis was conducted usong the Logistic regression model. The area under curve of receiver operating characteristic curve was used to estimate the efficiency of detecton methods. The maximum value of the Youden index was defined as the best cut-off value. Results:(1) Follow-up: 539 patients were followed up at postoperative 1 week and 1 month. During the follow-up, 79 patient had anastomotic leakage, with an incidence of 14.66%(79/539). Of the 79 patients, 39 cases were cured after conservative treatment, 40 cases were cured after reoperation (ileostomy or colostomy). (2) Risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR. Results of univariate analysis showed that sex, age, body mass index, smoking and/or drinking, tumor diameter, diabetes mellitus, hemoglobin, albumin, grade of American Society of Anesthesio-logists (ASA), neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, distance from anastomotic level to dentate line, the number of pelvic stapler, reinforced anastomosis, volume of intraoperative blood loss, placement of decompression tube, preservation of left colic artery, operation time and professional doctors were related factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR ( χ2=14.060, 4.387, 5.039, 4.094, 17.488, 33.485, 25.066, 28.959, 34.973, 34.207, 22.076, 13.208, 16.440, 17.708, 17.260, 4.573, 5.919, 5.389, P<0.05). Results of multivariate analysis showed that male, tumor diameter ≥3.5 cm, diabetes mellitus, hemoglobin <90 g/L, albumin <30 g/L, grade of ASA ≥Ⅲ, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, distance from anastomotic level to dentate line <1 cm, the number of pelvic stapler ≥3, non-reinforced anastomosis, volume of intraoperative blood loss ≥100 mL and no placement of decom-pression tube were independent risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR ( odds ratio=2.864,3.043,12.556,7.178,8.425,12.895,8.987,4.002,3.084,4.393,3.266,3.224,95% confidence interval as 1.279?6.411, 1.404?6.594, 4.469?35.274, 2.648?19.459, 2.471?28.733, 4.027?41.289, 3.702?21.777, 1.746?9.171, 1.365?6.966, 1.914?10.083, 1.434?7.441, 1.321?7.867, P<0.05). (3) Establishment of risk assessment scoring model for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR. based on the results of univariate analysis, clinicopathological factors with χ2>20, χ2>10 and ≤20 or χ2≤10 were defined as scoring of 3, 2, 1, respectively. The cumulative clinicopatho-logical factors scoring ≥6 was defined as an effective evaluating indicator for postoperative anastomotic leakage. The risk assessment scoring model (6-321) for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR was established. The cumulative value ≥6 indicated high incidence of anastomotic leakage, and the cumulative value <6 indicated low incidence of anastomotic leakage. Conclusions:Male, tumor diameter ≥3.5 cm, diabetes mellitus, hemoglobin <90 g/L, albumin <30 g/L, grade of ASA ≥Ⅲ, neo-adjuvant chemoradiotherapy, distance from anastomotic level to dentate line <1 cm, the number of pelvic stapler ≥3, non-reinforced anastomosis, volume of intraoperative blood loss ≥100 mL and no placement of decompression tube are independent risk factors for anastomotic leakage after laparoscopic LAR. 7.The role of group 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2) in respiratory allergic diseases: An update.

Group 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s) are the "mirror cells" of Th2 cells. Although the total cell number of ILC2s is far less than that of CD4+ Th2 cells in the body, the activated ILC2s have a more powerful biological activity than CD4+ Th2 cells and can rapidly enhanced Th2-cell inflammatory reaction. It plays an important role in the pathogenesis of allergic respiratory diseases. The transmitters that activate ILC2s include inflammatory cytokines (IL-33, IL-25, TSLP, IL-4, IL-9), lipid transmitters (prostaglandins, leukotrienes), and other activating transmitters (ICOS, Complement C3a, neuropeptide receptor, vasoactive intestinal peptide and calcitonin gene-related peptide, etc). Activated ILC2s produce large amounts of IL-4, IL-5, IL-9, IL-13, and amphiregulin and other inflammatory mediators, and induce airway hyperresponsiveness, mucus secretion and airway remodeling and other respiratory allergic reactions. Therefore, respiratory allergic diseases, especially steroid-dependent asthma, could be treated potentially by inhibiting the activation of ILC2s. Hereby, we summarized the immunobiology of ILC2s, the initiation of ILC2s in allergic inflammation, the relationship between ILC2s and respiratory allergic diseases, and the recent advances in biological agents targeted by ILC2s.

9.Differential expression of circular RNA in oral squamous cell carcinoma

Objective :
To analyze circular RNA (circRNA) expression profiles in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and its clinical significance.
Methods :
The expression of circRNA was detected with circRNA microarray assay in three samples of OSCC tumor and matched adjacent tissues. Quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) was used to verify the expression of circRNA in 45 pair OSCC tissues and normal adjacent tissues. The relationship between the expression of circRNA and the clinicopathological characteristics of OSCC was analyzed. circRNAs/miRNAs interaction were predicted using Arraystar' s home-made miRNA target prediction software.
Results :
155 circRNAs were differentially expressed between the OSCC tissues and matched adjacent tissues, of which 45 circRNAs were up-regulated and 110 circRNAs were down-regulated in OSCC tissues (fold changes ≥1.5 and P < 0.05). In the selected three circRNAs that were most significantly upregulated or downregulated in OSCC, the RT-qPCR results showed that hsa_circ_0001874, hsa_circ_0001971 and has_circ_0067934 were increased, while hsa_circ_0000520, hsa_circ_0023944 and hsa_circ_0000140 were decreased in OSCC tissues versus normal adjacent tissues (P < 0.001). The results were generally consistent with the microarray data. Among the circRNA expression profiles in OSCC, the up-regulation of hsa_circ_0001874 was the highest and the expression of hsa_circ_0001874 was significantly correlated with TNM stage and tumor grade. The result of Arraystar' s home-made miRNA target prediction software indicated that miR-103a-3p, miR-107, miR-593-5p, miR-661 and miR-662 may be potential target genes of hsa_circ_0001874.
Conclusion
The differentially expressed circRNAs in OSCC tissues and normal adjacent tissues were identified, and these dysregulated circRNAs and their potential target gents may play important roles in the development of OSCC.
10. Circular RNA circHIPK3 acts as the sponge of microRNA-124 to promote human oral squamous cell carcinoma cells proliferation

Objective:
To explore the expression and clinical significance of circular RNA circHIPK3 in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), analyze the effect of circHIPK3 on the proliferation of OSCC cells.
Methods:
The expression of circHIPK3 in OSCC tissues, adjacent non-cancerous tissues and OSCC cell lines were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). The correlations between the expression of circHIPK3 in OSCC tissues and the clinicopathological features were analyzed as well. circHIPK3-specific siRNA si-circHIPK3 and negative control siRNA si-NC were designed and synthesised and used to transfect CAL27 and SCC15 cells respectively. The proliferation capacity of CAL27 and SCC15 cells after transfection with si-circHIPK3 was detected by CCK-8 assay. The expression of miR-124 in OSCC was detected by qPCR, and the correlation between expression of circHIPK3 and the expression of miR-124 was analyzed. Using qPCR to detect the expression of miR-124 in CAL27 and SCC15 cells after transfection with si-circHIPK3 and si-NC respectively. Furthermore, using CCK-8 assay to detect the proliferation capacity of CAL27 and SCC15 cells after transfection with si-NC, si-circHIPK3, miR-124 mimic, si-circHIPK3+miR-124 inhibitor.
Results:
The expression of circHIPK3 in OSCC tissues [2.23 (1.86, 3.00)] was significantly higher than that of the adjacent non-cancerous tissues [1.05 (0.85, 1.26)] (
