Using Isopropyl amine (0.003 mol/L), p-methyl-phenol (0.03 mol/L) and methanol (1 mol/L) for simulating amino groups, phenol groups and hydroxyl groups in silk fibroin respectively, the reaction rate of different nucleophilic groups in silk with monochlorotriazine reactive dye was studied at various temperature and pH by high performance liquid chromatography. It was found that the overall reaction rate of dyes′ phenolysis was by far higher than that of ammonolysis and alcoholysis on the conditions of 70-95 ℃ and pH=8-10. The phenolysis overall reaction rates of C.I. reactive red 24 and C.I. reactive orange 2 were 8.5 and 12.5 times of their ammonolysis′, and 23 and 50 times of their alcoholysis′ in the term of pH 9 and 95 ℃. The phenolysis efficiencies of those two dyes were 47.4 and 96.3, the ammonolysis efficiencies were 4.6 and 6.9, and the isopropyl amine, p-methyl-phenol and methanol to simulate the silk fibroin, the reaction selectivity between the monochlorotriazine reactive dyes and nucleophilic groups in silk fibroin was investigated. It was deduced that monochlorotriazine reactive dyes are suitable for dyeing silk on the conditions of about 85 ℃ and pH=8-9, and under this condition, phenol groups are the major groups in silk dyeing with monochlorotriazine reactive dyes, amino groups are the minor groups, and the contributions of hydroxyl groups can be neglected.
4.Curative effect of moisturizing eye decoction combined with artificial tears in treatment on ophthalmoxerosis
International Eye Science 2017;17(8):1587-1589
AIM: To observe the clinical effects of moisturizing eye decoction combined with artificial tears in the treatment of ophthalmoxerosis.METHODS: A randomized controlled clinical research method was employed. One hundred-sixty patients diagnosed with ophthalmoxerosis were equally divided into a treatment group and a control group. In the treatment group, patients were given one dose per day of the moisturizing eye decoction as well as artificial tear drops three times a day.The patients in the control group were treated with artificial tears drops three times a day.The course of treatment was 3mo.Dry-eye symptoms, tear break-up time(BUT) by the slit lamp, the time of tear secretion (Schirmers Ⅰ test),corneal fluorescein staining (FL),and curative effects were observed before treatment as well as in the first and third months after treatment.RESULTS: There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of BUT,SⅠt,and FL before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment in the first and the third months, the BUT,SⅠt,FL,and curative effects were significantly different between the two groups (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Moisturizing eye decoction combined with artificial tears in the treatment of ophthalmoxerosis can improve efficacy.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(4):339-340
ObjectiveTo evaluate the role of multi-slice CT(MSCT) reconstruction in the diagnosis of intracranial foreign bodies.MethodsMSCT scans were performed in 16 patients with intracranial foreign bodies. The volumetric data were reconstructed in the workstation. 5 patients were detected by CT angiography (CTA) examination. Imaging results were then compared with findings found during surgery.Results11 foreign bodies located in one brain lobe, 3 passed two brain lobes, 2 located in ventricle. Among them, 6 cases were closed to parietal including 2 cases closed to cerebral arterial circle. 14 patients were operated and extirpated 18 foreign bodies. Compared with surgical findings, the orientative accuracy of reconstruction imaging was 100%, qualitative accuracy was 85.7%.ConclusionMSCT reconstruction may display the intracranial foreign bodies from multi-angles. It is propitious to know the characteristics, location and whole shape of the foreign bodies for the surgeon before the operation, accordingly to make a best operation project.

Polysaccharides with multiple biological activities are usually considered as one of the major bioactive compounds in Chinese medicines (CMs). At present, the development of drug and functional foods related to polysaccharides have attracted a great deal of attention due to their great potential effects and diverse action mechanisms. However, quality control of polysaccharides is the bottleneck and a challenge due to their complexity and chemical diversity. Actually, the bioactivities of polysaccharides are closely related to their molecular structures. In order to ensure their safety and efficacy, the development of novel approaches based on the molecular structures for the improvement of quality control of polysaccharides is significantly important. Therefore, in this article, the relationship between biological activities and chemical structures, as well as the action mechanisms of polysaccharides from CMs were summarized first. Furthermore, saccharide mapping, a novel strategy for quality control of bioactive polysaccharides from CMs, was introduced and the application and perspectives were also discussed.

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of aqueous extract of Taxus chinensis var. mairei (AETC) combined Erlotnib on the growth of A549 xenograft in nude mice and its mechanism.
METHODSThe xenograft model in nude mice was established by inoculating A549 cells subcutaneously. BALB/c nude mice bearing A549 xenograft were randomly divided into six groups, i.e., the low dose Erlotinib group (A) , the standard dose Erlotnib group (B) , the low dose Erlotinib combined AETC group (C), the standard dose Erlotnib combined AETC group (D), the AETC group (E), the control group (F), 12 in each group. Different medication was performed for 7 successive weeks after 24 h. One mL blood was withdrawn and tumor tissues taken. The tumor inhibition rate was calculated. The combined effect was analyzed by Jin's Formula [Q = Ea + b/(Ea + Eb-Ea x Eb) ]. mRNA and protein expression levels of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and B cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2) in xenografts were detected using real-time RT-PCR and ELISA.
RESULTSCompared with Group F, the xenograft weight was obviously lowered in Group B-E (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The q value was 0.92 in Group C and 0.96 in Group D, which was obtained by simple adding of the two drugs. Compared with Group F, EG- FR mRNA expression in Group D and E, COX-2 mRNA expression in Group A-E; Bcl-2 mRNA expression in Group B-D; COX-2 protein expression in Group B-E; Bcl-2 protein expression in Group C and D were obviously lowered with statistical difference (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONSAETC combined low dose and standard dose Erlotinib had synergistic effect on tumor inhibition. Its mechanism might be associated with down-regulating mRNA and protein expression levels of COX-2 and Bcl-2.
