Herald of Medicine 2014;(12):1562-1565
Objective To exPlore the theraPeutic effect of cycloVirobuxine_D ( CVB_D) on heart failure by obserVing the influences of CVB_D on cardiac function, myocardial morPhology and structure in rats with heart failure. Methods The rat model of heart failure was established by ligating left anterior descending coronary artery, and then the rats were randomly diVided into 5 grouPs,Plus the sham grouP. EchocardiograPhy was used to assess cardiac function, including EF,LVSF,SV,HR,CO and so on. Myocardial tissue section was obtained. Change in the myocardial tissue was obserVed by HE staining. Myocardial ultra_structure was obserVed by using transmission electron microscoPe. Results As comPared with the model grouP,EF and LVSF were significantly increased in medium and high dose CVB_D grouPs (P<0. 05 or P<0. 01),SV was increased in low and medium dose CVB_D grouPs (P<0. 05),CO was increased in low, medium and high dose CVB_D grouPs (P<0. 05),LVIDs was decreased and LVPWs was increased in high dose CVB_D grouP (P<0. 05). Under light microscoPe,changes of myocardial structures were obserVed in different CVB_D dose grouPs: myocardial fiber gradually became tidy, striPes became clear, and contour became clear. The changes of myocardial ultra_structure were obserVed under transmission electron microscoPe: the myocardial fiber breakage was reduced and the number of mitochondria was increased, swelling degeneration was alleViated. Conclusion CVB_D significantly imProVed cardiac contraction and blood PumPing function of rats with heart failure, exerted mitigatiVe effect on damage of cardiac muscle fiber and mitochondria. It suggests that CVB_D may be effectiVe in the treatment of heart failure.

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the expression of NKG2D in peripheral blood of patients with cervical cancer,CIN,hysteromyoma and health person, and the expression of the human MHC class I chain-related gene A(MICA)on the correspondent tumor tissues. To discuss the anti-cervical cancer mechanism of NKG2D-MICA and immune escaping of cancer. Methods Flow cytometry analysis was used to detect the expression of NKG2D in the peripheral blood of patients with cervical cancer,CIN,hysteromyoma and health person. The expressions of MICA in part of the correspondent tissues were examined by means of reverse transcription-polymerase chain relation(RT-PCR).Results The expression of NKG2D in the patients with cervical cancer,CIN,hysteromyoma and health person were(76.87?9.39)%、(81.84?7.94)%、(86.77?8.68)%、(93.968?4.9)%,respectively.Compared with the normal group, the NKG2D expression in the particular disease group was of statistical significance, however,it is not statistically significant in the comparison in the particular disease group. The rate of MICA mRNA expression in cervical cancer was significantly higher than that in hysteromyoma and health tissues, and its difference is of statistical significance. But it is not statistically significant for the normal group to compare with the other group. Conclusion The activity of NK cell and the anti-cancer cellular immunity level reduce in patients with cervical cancer. The decrease of the receptor NKG2D is a reason for the descend of the activity of NK cells.MICA mRNA expression increases in the cervical cancer, and it has the tendency of up-regulation with the progress of pathological changes. It is relative to malignant transformation from cervical squamous intraepithelial lesion to cervical cancer;the immune-escape of cervical cancer probably is relative to the down-regulation of NKG2D and the up-regulation of its ligand MICA.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
The work was carried out to investigate the effects of clonidine on Ach quantal release of presynaptic nerve terminals in guinea pig celiac ganglia in vitro by means of intracellular recording technique. After perfusion of celiac ganglia with clonidine ( 10?mol/L ) for 7 ~10 min, the frequency of spontaneous miniature excitatory postsynaptic potentials ( mEPSP ) which was increased by high K+ (15 mmol/L ) , diminished about 35% with little change in amplitude. Under condition of low Ca2+( 0.5mmol/L )/high Mg2+( 5.5mmol/L ) presynaptic nerve was repetitively stimulated by 200 pulses ( 1 Hz), the failure number of EPSP increased from 82 to 145 in 200 stimuli and the quantal content ( m ) decreased about 62% with little change in quantal size ( q ) under clonidine ( 10?mol/L ) action. It is indicated that clonidine can decrease Ach auantal release from presynaptic nerve terminals without effecting Ach content in vesicles, and is one of the mechanisms for depressant effect of clonidine on synaptic transmission of the sympathetic ganglia.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(23):-
Objective To detect the percentage of cultured neuron apoptosis after the neurons were treated with anoxia and specific inhibitors of protein kinase A (PKA) and protein kinase C (PKC). Methods After establishment of the model of neurons cultured under hypoxic condition, the neurons were cocultured with different concentrations of Rp-cAMP and Calphostin C, specific inhibitors of protein kinase A and C, respectively. Then neurons were cultured under an ischemic condition until the number of survived neurons, the activity of mPKA,and mPKC, and the apoptotic neurons stained by TUNEL in each group were observed. Results The activity of mPKA and mPKC significantly increased after the onset of hypoxia. With the increases in concentrations of Rp-cAMP or Calphostin C, the percentage of apoptotic neurons obviously decreased or increased, respectively. Conclusion The pathways of PKA and PKC signal transduction may participate in the hypoxic neuron injury. The functions of these two kinases are opposite for apoptotic regulation. It suggests that the signal transduction of PKA and PKC in hypoxic neurons belongs to a monophasic controlling system and the ratio of PKA to PKC in cells may determine the survival of hypoxic neurons.
