Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) is the first choice of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) missed opportunity of exairesis.Angiogenesis is one of the key factors that affect prospective efficacy.Counter-measures against angiogenesis mainly contain complete embolization of tumor blood supply and integration with angiogenesis inhibitors.The angiogenesis after TACE and the corresponding countermeasures were reviewed in this article.

Microwave ablation(MWA) is a significant progress in tumor non-surgical treatment in the 1990s.It is characterized by high thermal efficiency,fast heating rate,high uniform temperature field,complete necrosis of coagulation area and small influencing factors.The local treatment of the tumor shows a great advantage.In recent years,with the maturity of MWA technology,it has been widely used in the treatment of liver tumors(hapatic tumor,HT),has achieved good clinical efficacy.The aim of this study is to review the progress of treatment of HT in MWA to improve its therapeutic efficiency.

Objective To investigate the expression level of monocytes ATP-binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1) stimulated by oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) for exploring the mechanism of ABCA1 in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis (AS). Methods Human monocytes of patients in CHD group (n=42) and normal control group (n=40) were isolated by density gradient centrifugation with separating medium (1.077). ABCA1 was labeled by immune reaction PE fluorescence, then the expression of ABCA1 before and after being incubated with the ox-LDL (30mg/L) for 24 hours was investigated by flow cytometer, and the changes in ABCA1 expression were observed. The differences between the two groups and the correlation between ABCA1 expression and blood lipids were analyzed. Results The high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1) levels in CHD group (1.15?1.40 and 1.19?0.17, respectively) were significantly lower than that in control group (1.36?0.40 and 1.34?0.22, respectively, P0.05). Conclusions ABCA1 expression in the patients with CHD may be inhibited by high concentration of ox-LDL. The lowered expression of ABCA1 and the abnormal lipids spectrum may decrease the reverse cholesterol transport (RCT), and contribute to the development of AS and CHD.

To summarize the etiological factor and to assess the therapeutic effect for neovascular glaucoma(NVG).Methods A retrospective study of 28 cases (29 eyes) with NVG was performed. The mean age, proportion of sex and primary ocular disease, incidence of symptom, sign and postoperative complication were analyzed. Results 78 6% of the patients were over 40 years old. 62% of the patients were secondary to the ocular ischemic disease such as central retina vein occlusion and proliferative diabetic retinopathy. The clinical characters included intraocular pressure (IOP) increasing, pain, mixed conjunctival congestion and rubeosis iridis. The mean IOP reduction was 19.5 mmHg in 29 eyes after antiglaucomatous drags treatment and 19.13mmHg in 23 eyes after Hunan aqueous humor drainage (HAD) implantation. The common postoperative complications were flat anterior chamber and choroidal detachment. The success rate of HAD implantation was 87%.Conclusions NVG was commonly secondary to ocular ischemic disease. Although prevention was the principal, reducing IOP and ameliorating ischemic situation were as the same important.

Objective To investigate the cooperative antifungal effect of antibacterial peptide MUC7 combined with Bifidobacte‐ria in vitro .Methods The antifungal effect was observed and measured by viable count and the Oxford cup method .Results Two methods exhibited more potent antifungal effect on Candida albicans ,Candida albicans ,Candida krusei and Candida parapsilosis in MUC7 combined with Bifidobacteria group .The colonies′numbers in MUC7 combined with Bifidobacteria group were 2 .00 ± 1 .13 , 2 .00 ± 1 .42 ,5 .00 ± 2 .03 ,2 .00 ± 1 .39 respectively by viable counting ,which was lower than thoes in the saline group and Bifidobacterium group (P<0 .01) ,these two groups were significant lower than those in MUC7 group (P<0 .05);the inhibition zone in MUC7 combined with Bifidobacteria group were (29 .00 ± 2 .17) ,(31 .00 ± 3 .25) ,(29 .00 ± 2 .89) ,(30 .00 ± 3 .36)mm de‐tected by the Oxford cup method ,which showed a significantly difference with the saline group ,Bifidobacterium group and MUC7 group(P< 0 .05) .Conclusion Antibacterial peptide MUC7 combined with Bifidobacterium exhibits good antifungal effect which may provide a foundation for the further research on a new generation of antifungal Bifidobacterium preparation .

Hematoma growth is an independent risk factor for the prognosis of htracerebral hemorrhage.It is very common in the acute stage of intracerebral hemorrhage.There are many uncertainties about the definition,mechanisms,and influential factors of hematoma growth,and the effective therapy is lacking,therefore,early prevention and identification are critical.

Objective To investigate the functional activity and connectivity of the insular cortex at rest in persons with low back pain (LBP).Methods Twelve healthy subjects (male 6,female 6 ; age 24.8 ± 3.3 years) were given fMRI 3.0T scans at rest.Back muscle pain was then induced with an intramuscular injection of 3％ hypertonic saline solution and a second scan was performed.The pain-free and in-pain fMRI data were compared using paired t-tests to highlight any changes in the functional connectivity of the anterior and posterior insular cortex on both sides.Pain severity was quantified using a visual analogue scale (VAS).Results Ratings of LBP severity peaked at 6.02 ± 1.96 on the VAS.The functional connectivity of the inferior insular cortex with the frontal cortex,the thalamus and the parahippocampal gyrus was enhanced when the subjects were in pain,but connectivity with the posterior cingulate cortex,the precuneus,the temporal cortex,the paracentral lobule and the cerebellar tonsil was reduced.The inferior parietal lobule exhibited significantly enhanced connectivity with the anterior insular cortex,but reduced connectivity with the posterior insular cortex.In addition,the medial cingulate cortex displayed decreased functional connectivity with the anterior insular cortex,but increased functional connectivity with the posterior insular cortex when the subjects were in pain.Conclusion This study has revealed impeded functional connectivity of the insular cortex when experiencing LBP at rest.This may possibly be related to pain's disruption of cognition and emotion.

Objective To establish a method for the determination of berberine hydrochloride and phellodendrine in Lishukang Capsules by HPLC. Methods Waters Symmetry C18 column (4.6 mm× 250 mm, 5μm) was used, the mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.1%phosphoric acid (0.1 g sodidum dodecyl sulfonate in 100 mL water), with the flow rate of 1 mL/min by gradient elution. The detection wavelength was set at 284 nm. Results Berberine hydrochloride showed good linear relationship (r 2=0.999 1) in the range of 403.4-10 084.7 μg, the average recovery rate was 99.8%(RSD=1.7%). Phellodendrine showed good linear relationship (r 2=0.999 2) in the range of 169.137 6-4228.44 μg, the average recovery rate was 95.5%(RSD=3.2%). Conclusion The method is specific, accurate and convenient to be used for the quality control of Lishukang Capsules.

Objective To study on the significance of accompany relatives of children with access to pediatric transplantation ward on clinical treatment and nursing.Methods 37 children undergoing autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (APBST) were collected from January 2007 to April 2010.All cases were divided into the no tending group(7 cases)and the tending group (30 cases).The accompany relatives of the tending group accepted standard training before entering the ward.The compliance with basic nursing,acute side-effect and hemopoiesis rebuild period of marrow during APBST in two groups were compared.Results The compliance with basic nursing of the no tending group was only 28.6％,but was 73.3％ in the tending group.According to Bearman standard,the acute side-effect of the no tending group:1 case of grade Ⅳ,1 case of grade Ⅲ,4 cases of grade Ⅱ,1case of grade Ⅰ; in the tending group:1 case of grade Ⅳ,1 case of grade Ⅲ,6 cases of grade Ⅱ,22 case of grade Ⅰ.The marrow-reconstitution took place in 36 children.The most long time was 41 days in the no tending group,the average time was (28.14+7.98)days.The time took for marrow-reconstitution was 22 days in the tending group,the average time was ( 14.61+2.33)days.Conclusions It is safe and feasible for accompany relatives of children to participate in nursing during transplantation.Relatives accompany is beneficial for psychology adaptability,nursing compliance and success of APBST.

Objective To investigate the effects and anti-atherosclerotic mechanism of rosiglitazone on the expression of ATP-binding cassette transporter A1 (ABCA1) and reverse cholesterol transport (RCT) in atherosclerotic rabbits. Methods Twelve rabbits were randomly divided into two groups (6 each): control group (only high cholesterol diet for 6 weeks), rosiglitazone group [high cholesterol diet plus rosiglitazone 0.5mg/(kg?d) for 6 weeks]. ABCA1 expression and [3H] cholesterol efflux rates were evaluated by flow cytometry and liquid scintillation spectrometry, respectively. Enzymatic methods were used to assay serum lipids levels and cholesterol contents in tissues, and the atherosclerotic area of aorta was calculated by professional image analysis software. Results For the rabbits of both control and rosiglitazone group, the serum levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (NHDL-C) and apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1) significantly went up when they took their cholesterol rich diet for 6 weeks (P0.05). Compared with control group, the ABCA1 expressions in monocytes, peritoneal macrophages, adipocytes and hepatocytes, as well as the cholesterol efflux rates in peritoneal macrophages, adipocytes and hepatocytes increased significantly (P
