Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (rhGM-CSF) combined with traditional medicine retention enema for treatment of chronic radiation proctitis. Methods:A total of 128 patients pathologically diagnosed as cervical cancer and endometrial cancer with grade 1-2 chronic radiation proctitis at Xiangyang Central Hospital from October 2017 to October 2019 were enrolled in a random, single-blind, control trial. The patients were divided into the control group and the experiment group according to the random number table, and the control group was given the treatment regimen of gentamicin + dexamethasone + Yunnan Baiyao retention enema, and the experimental group was given the treatment regimen of rhGM-CSF + gentamicin + dexamethasone + Yunnan Baiyao retention enema; both regimens treated twice daily for three weeks. The clinical symptom before and after enema treatment based on the subjective, objective, management and analytic (SOMA) scale was scored and the efficacy was evaluated by combining with stool routine and rectoscopy. Results:According to the SOMA scale, the scores of hematochezia, diarrhea, tenesmus, abdominal pain after enema were lower than those before enema, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05); however, the scores of all symptoms before treatment of both groups were not statistically significant different (all P>0.05). The score of hematochezia in the experimental group after enema was lower than that in the control group [(0.33±0.15) scores vs. (0.48±0.32) scores, t=2.045, P=0.022], and the scores of other symptoms in both groups were not statistically significant different (all P>0.05). The overall effective rate was 79.69% (51/64) in the control group and 90.63% (58/64) in the experimental group, and difference was statistically significant (χ 2=6.485, P=0.026). All patients had no obvious adverse reactions. Conclusions:rhGM-CSF combined with traditional medicine retention enema for treatment of chronic radiation proctitis in patients with cervical cancer and endometrial cancer is highly effective and easy to operate, and patients are well tolerated, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(4):867-886
It is important to design a long-period transparent bioactive material for corneal repair in the process of corneal tissue renovation. This article discusses the silk fibroin and formamide blend membranes as a corneal stroma repair material. Silk fibroin solution was mixed with formamide in different proportions to obtain insoluble transparent silk fibroin film by casting method. The blending membranes had excellent mechanical properties, cell compatibility and long-term transparent properties. Rabbit corneal stromal cells were seeded on the sterilized composite films. The rate of cell surface adhesion was over 90% after cells were placed on it for 5 hours. When cells were seeded on blend membranes from one day to seven days, Alma Blue was added to complete medium. Compared with the cell culture plate, there was no significant difference in cell proliferation on formamide/silk films. The results indicated that formamide/silk films might be used as a corneal stroma repair material and worth of further investigatinn

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(18):2906-2910
BACKGROUND:Nasolabial fold flap has been widely used in clinical surgery. The facial artery anatomy has been widely used in clinical research. Angular artery dissection is becoming more and more important to nasolabial groove area surgery, but at present, there is a lack of anatomical analysis of internal angular artery.
OBJECTIVE:To study the anatomy of the angular artery, and to provide anatomical data for protecting the nasolabial flap during surgery.
METHODS:Twenty sides of adult cadaver specimens on head and face were dissected. A reference coordinate system was made based on the line between the connection of two medial angles of eyes (axis X) and the facial midline line (axis Y). The location of the angular artery was measured taking A-F as reference points.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) The slant angles of the angular artery on BC section, CD section, DE section and EF section were (11.1±4.3)°, (34.1±8.8)°, (21.5±10.5)°, and (17.0±4.7)°, respectively. (2) The angular artery sourced from facial artery was more than it sourced from ophthalmic artery. The diameter of right blood vessel was larger than that of left side. (3) The angular artery sourced from ophthalmic artery comes from the location which extended 8.1 mm to both sides from the point which was 10 mm up from the intersection of facial medial angle of eyes connection and midline. The blood vessel diameter of the starting point was (0.7±0.2) mm. The whole range was 20.1 mm. (4) The angular artery sourced from facial artery comes from the location which extended 25.8 mm to both sides from the point which was 40 mm down to the intersection of facial medial angle of eyes connection and midline. The blood vessel diameter of the starting point was (0.9±0.3) mm. Point to the wing of nose the lateral distance was (5.0±1.2) mm. The whole range was 68.7 mm. The surface projecting of angular artery coming from research results provided anatomic basis for surgery of nasolabial flap.
