Objective To investigate the effect of early nursing intervention on severe complication of radical cystectomy and orthotopic ileal neobladder. Methods A total of 30 patients undergoing radical cystectomy with orthotopic ileal neobladder were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group with 15 cases in each group, the control group received routine nursing, while the intervention group received psychological counseling, health education, sufficient preoperative preparation, postoperative strict tube care, nutritional support according to the serious complications after operation. The postoperative complications, indwelling time of tubes, hospitalization days between two groups were compared. Results Serious complications rate after surgery of the intervention group was lower than that in the control group. The indwelling time of tubes, length of stay in the intervention group were less than those of the control group, the two groups had significant difference. Conclusions Early predictive nursing intervention can reduce compli-cations rate after radical cystectomy and ileal neobladder, shorten the hospitalization time and improve the success rate of operation.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of vertebral manipulation (VM) therapy on vertebro-basilar artery (VBA) blood flow in patients with cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type (CS-VAT) by transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasonic examination.
METHODSOne hundred and fifty patients with CS-VAT were randomized into the VM group (n = 100) and the acupuncture group (n = 50), and treated for ten times as one therapeutic course. Changes of the contraction peak, the end-diastolic and average blood flow velocity of VBA before and after treatment in the two groups were observed and compared by TCD.
RESULTSVp, Vd, Vm of LVA, RVA and BA in the two groups after treatment were all lowered, showing significant difference, excepting Vp of VBA in the acupuncture group, when compared with before treatment (P< 0.05 or P <0.01). Comparison between the two groups after treatment showed significant difference in Vp and Vm of LVA, Vp, Vd and Vm of RVA, Vp and Vm of VBA respectively (P<0.05, P <0.01).
CONCLUSIONVM therapy in treating patients with CS-VAT shows therapeutic effect superior to VA therapy, which could significantly improve VBA blood flow.

OBJECTIVE:
To prepare a quality control sample for non-invasive prenatal screening (NIPS) and evaluate its quality and stability.
METHODS:
According to the biological characteristics of cell-free fetal DNA derived from the plasma of pregnant women, the simulated samples were prepared by mixing genomic DNA fragments derived from individuals with trisomy 21, trisomy 18 and trisomy 13 and background plasma. The samples were then compared with commercially made quality control products tested on various NIPS platforms and stored at -80℃, -20℃, 4℃, 24℃ and 37℃ for various periods of time.
RESULTS:
The simulated samples have attained the expected results and could be detected on various platforms and stored at -80℃and -20℃ for at least 30 days.
CONCLUSION
A simulated sample was successfully prepared and possessed good stability. It can be used as the quality control sample for NIPS.
