Objective To observe the effects of Zhuyunjiaonang on morphological change of the ovary, serous hormone and the expression of P450arom in PCO model rats. To explore its target and mechanism in treating PCO model rats. Methods Using INS and HCG to establish PCO model. The PCO rat models were devided into 4 groups randomly, which included control group, model group, Zhuyunjiaonang group and mefformin group. Zhuyunjiaonang group was given 3.0 g/(kg ? d) Zhuyunjiaonang, mefformin group was given 0.75 g/(kg ? d) metformin, control group and model group were given same volume distilled water 1 mL/100 g. The effects of Zhuyunjiaonang on ovaries and ovarial follicular development were observed by light microscope. The levels of serum gonadal hormone were detected by radioimmunoassay. The expression level of P450arom was detected with immtmohistochemical staining technique. Results Zhuyunjiaonang could increase the thickness of granular cell layer and decrease the thickness of theca cell layer, decrease the level of T and LH, and increase the level of FSH and E_2 in serum. Meanwhile the expression of P450arom in ovary were increased. Conclusion Zhuyunjiaonang could indirectly or directly affect the expression of the P450arom in ovary, it could regulate the endocrine function of PCO rat and promote the mature and ovulation of follicular.

Objective To compare and assess the antihypertentive efficacy and safety of barnidipine hydrochloride and felodipine in the elderly hypertentive patients. Methods 69 elderly patients(60-75 years old ) with mild or moderate essential hypertension were selected and randomly assigned to two groups, one was medicated with barnidipine (36 patients) and another (33 patients) with felodipine. Placeboes were given for 2 weeks, then the testees were administered barnidipine 10mg/d or felodipine 5mg/d for 2 weeks, followed by an increased administration of dose titration to barnidipine 15mg/d or felodipine 10mg/d for another 2 weeks in those patients with DBP≥90mmHg. Both groups were administered once daily. Results After 4 weeks administration no statistical difference was found on the total effectiveness between barnidipine and felodipine groups (100.0% vs 93.9%). Both SBP and DBP declined by 20.7?7.8mmHg and 17.6?4.5mmHg respectively in barnidipine group, and 20.2?9.6mmHg and 17.6?6.1mmHg respectively in felodipine group. The decline of blood pressure showed no significant difference between the two groups. The mild harmful respond occurred in 4 of 36 patients of barnidipine group (11.1%), and in 3 of 33 patients of felodipine group(9.1%).Conclusion The results suggested that barnidipine is effective and well tolerated in antihypertension of the old patients.

Objective To establish the mathematical model and perform experimental mensuration on effective slice width for 4-slice spiral CT. Methods First, assuming the spiral slice sensitivity profile (SSP) was Gauss distribution, a formula about effective slice width, defined as the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of SSP, was get. Then, using Philips Mx8000 4-slice spiral CT system and the same CT technique as those used for clinical CT, CTP 528 of Phantom Catphan 500 was scanned with parameters as follows: 120 kV, 150 mAs, 180 mm FOV, 512×512 Matrix, 180° linear interpolation, different pitch and 0.5 mm detector width. Finally, FWHM was got from the coronal multiplanar reconstruction image passing by the center of tungsten ball in CTP528 for each sequence. Results With pitch of 0.500, 0.625, 0.875, 1.000, 1.250, 1.500 and 1.750, the measured FWHM was 0.7, 0.7, 0.7, 0.8, 0.7, 0.7 and 0.7 mm, respectively. With detector width of 0.5, 1.0 and 5.0 mm, the measured FWHM was 0.7, 1.2, and 6.7 mm, respectively. All the measured effective slices were higher than those of theoretical values. Conclusion The relativity between effective slice width and detector width is direct proportion, while that between effective slice width and pitch is non-linear.

Objective To investigate the relationship among 18 F-fluorodexyglucose (FDG) PET, pattern of lipiodol retention CT and serum ?-fetoprotein(AFP) in evaluating the effect of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods TACE was performed in thirty-five patients with HCC. 18 F-FDG PET and lipiodol-CT examination were performed after TACE, and thus the patterns of lipiodol retention, and the tumor necrosis rates semi-quantitatively by 18 F-FDG PET were obtained with simultaneous calculation of the decrease percentage of serum AFP before and after TACE. Results The patterns of lipiodol retention were divided into four types; A. dense type (n=12), B. rarity type (n=13), C. scattering type (n=7) and D. empty type (n=3). The positive correlation between the tumor necrosis rate (7%~95%) and the decrease percentage of AFP(0~100%) were found (r=0.761 P

Objective To study the prenatal diagnosis and clinical significance of fetal hyperechogenic kidneys. Methods Thirty one cases with fetal hyperechogenic kidneys were prenatally diagnosed with ultrasound.Autopsy was conducted and histological examination of the kidney was performed when pregnancy was terminated.A close follow-up was given for cases continuing pregnancy.Umbilical cord blood was collected for fetal chromosome analysis after delivery.Results(1)6 fetuses were complicated with other organ abnormalities,3 fetuses had abnormal chromosome, and 2 cases had a family history.(2) 12 cases chose to terminate pregnancy,10 of whom were oligohydromnios.Causes for fetal hyperechogenic kidneys were infantile polycystic kidney disease(IPKD,10 cases),adult polycystic kidney disease (APKD,1 case),polycystic kidney dysplasia(PKD,1 case)after postmortem histological examination. (3)Nineteen cases continued pregnancy,2 neonates with oligohydramnios died during neonatal period, both of them were IPKD;3 cases that were IPKD,IPKD and KPD respectively died 3 months,8 months and 1 year after birth, respectively;one case presented with hypertension symptom 26 months after birth, which was diagnosed as IPKD.The other 13 cases had no clinical manifestation and a close following-up is being undertaken for them at present.Conclusions(1)Fetal hyperechogenic kidneys could be caused by IPKD, APKD,or PKD,and are sometimes a normal variant.(2)Aminotic fluid volume is a key factor for prognosis;a suggestion for termination would be given to cases with fetal hyperechogenic kidneys and oligohydromnios.(3)For cases with fetal hyperechogenic kidneys,a complete and careful ultrasonography should be given to both parents and fetus, and fetal chromosomal analysis is suggested prenatally.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2015;(5):813-815,862
Objective To probe the precision of the magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS)in assessing the fat content in the vertebral bone marrow and the changes at different vertebrae. Methods A total of 46 female volunteers were recruited in this study. After routine MRI examination, single voxel (SV)was chosen for the 1 H-MRS acquisition at L1 -L4 vertebral body.Thirty subjects were scanned twice to evaluate the precision of MRS.The fat fraction (FF%),unsaturation index (UI)and coefficients of variation (CV) were calculated by amplitude and area under the peak respectively. The changes of fat content in marrow at L1 -L4 vertebrae was further evaluated. Results The CV related to peak amplitude was 1.7% in quantification of vertebral FF%,while the CV related to peak area was 6.3%.In quantification of vertebral UI,the CV related to amplitude and area was 2.4% and 7.8% respectively. The FF% was ascended from L1 to L4,while UI of bone marrow declined.A significant correlation was observed between FF% and UI (r=-0.714,P <0.01).The correlation of FF% among L1 -L4 were also significantly observed (r =0.612 -0.923,P <0.01). Conclusion MRS at 3.0 T provides reliable measurement for marrow fat content with a good precision associated with amplitude. Meanwhile, there is a preferential increase in saturated lipids compared to unsaturated lipids from L1 to L4.There is a high correlation of FF%among L1-L4.MRS is a valuable tool for providing complementary information on osteoporosis research.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(7):1013-1018
To explore the anti-atherosclerotic mechanism of estrogen and especially observe the effect of estradiol on the content of cholesterol in J774a.1 mouse mononuclear/macrophage-derived foam cells which were incubated with oxidized low-density lipoproteins (ox-LDL). J774a.1 mouse mononuclear/macrophages were incubated with ox-LDL or with both ox-LDL and estradiol (1, 0.1 or 0.01 micromol x L(-1)). Oil red O staining was used to observe the formation of foam cells, and cholesterol oxidase fluorometric was used to determine the content of cellular cholesterol content. Western blotting and RTFQ-PCR were used to observe the expressions of scavenger receptor class B type I (SR-B I ) in J774a.1 foam cells. Compared with the control cells, J774a.1 mouse mononuclear/macrophage-derived foam cells showed significantly increased contents of total cholesterol and cholesterol ester (P < 0.001) and decreased SR-B I mRNA expression (P < 0.01). Estradiol treatment significantly lowered the contents of total cholesterol and cholesterol ester (P < 0.05), and increased SR-B I protein and mRNA expression (P < 0.01) in the foam cells in a dose-dependent manner. Estradiol can inhibit the formation of mononuclear/macrophage-derived foam cells by decreasing the contents of total cholesterol and cholesterol ester and up-regulating the expression of SR-B I in the foam cells.
