Objective This article analyzed the characteristics of the health service in medium cities and the impact on community health service.Methods Summary and statistical analysis of the outcomes from the Fourth National Health Service Survey by the category of metropolitans,sub-provincial cities and provincial capital cities,and non-provincial-capital cities.Results In the medium cities,the geographical accessibility is high against low economic and technology accessibility.These cities have lower 2-week morbiditv rate but high children morbidity rate.These cities also feature high self-rated health status among residents and high health risk factors prevalence at the sarne time.Conclusion Medium cities are recommended to further build their CHS system,enhance their ties with larger cities,so as to elevate their technical competence,for meeting such public health needs of the people in infectious disease control,health promotion and vulnerable population healthcare.

Objective To induce skin cancer in BALB/c mice using DMBA as initiator and TPA as tumor promot-er. Through optimizing the doses and frequencies of DMBA administration to establish a stable skin cancer model with less time and causing less skin damage. Methods Shaving the back of mice to expose a piece of skin around 2 cm × 2 cm. The mice were divided into a blank control group and four treatment groups randomly. These four groups were given 1, 2, 4, 7 times 100μg/100μL DMBA/acetone, respectively, in the first week, and twice 4μg/100μL TPA/acetone per week in the next 11 weeks. The body weight changes, time of tumor formation and number of tumors formed were recorded during the experiment. The mice were sacrificed at 12th week and samples of tumor tissue and adjacent normal skin tissue were taken for pathological examination using HE staining. Results Tumors were observed at the 7th week in the group with once DMBA administration in the first week and at the 4th week in the group with twice DMBA administration in the first week. Skin cancers were formed also in the group with 4?time DMBA administration in the first week, however, with signif?icantly more severe skin damages. The mice receiving DMBA everyday in the first week died at the 3th week. Conclusions The best induction protocol for skin cancer in BALB/c mice should be twice DMBA in the first week followed by twice TPA

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the genetic polymorphisms of 19 STR Loci in Shandong Han population in order to provide the genetic data for paternity testing. METHODS: The genotypes of 205 unrelated individuals in Shandong Han population were typed by Goldeneye 20A kit to get the allele frequencies and population genetic parameters of 19 STR loci. Four kits, Identifiler kit, SinoFiler kit, PowerPlex 16 kit, and Goldeneye 20A kit, were compared with each other and used in the analysis of a special paternity test case. RESULTS: The population genetic parameters of 19 STR loci in Shandong Han Population were obtained. The cumulative discrimination power (CDP) and cumulative probability of exclusion (CPE) ranked from high to low were Goldeneye 20A kit, SinoFiler kit, PowerPlex 16 kit and Identifiler kit, respectively. As duo case, the result of the real case showed that Identifiler kit had no excluding loci, and none of the SinoFiler kit, PowerPlex 16 kit or Goldeneye 20A kit could exclude fatherhood. CONCLUSION Compared with Identifiler kit, SinoFiler kit, and PowerPlex 16 kit, Goldeneye 20A kit shows the higher efficiency than the others, but is not completely satisfied for duo cases.

Objective To analyze the changes and clinical significance of live function in advanced non-small cell lung cancer after chemotherapy.Methods The data of 164 patients histopathologically confirmed as advanced nonsmall cell lung cancer with complete medical history data from January 2007 to September 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.All the patients received chemotherapy by docetaxel or gemcitabine plus nedaplatin,regular liver function hematological monitoring and liver color ultrasound examination,which revealed the changes of liver function and liver morphology.Results Docetaxel or gemcitabine plus nedaplatin could induce liver function indexes abnormality in patients with advanced nonsmall cell lung cancer.The main symptoms were the rise of ALT,AST with different extent (ALT:29 U/L vs 30 U/L,AST:54 U/L vs 39 U/L,P ＜ 0.05),which were not related with the sex,age,tumor pathologic types and the clinical stages (P ＞ 0.05).Patients received chemotherapy by gemcitabine were inclined to experience liver function indexes abnormality (P ＜ 0.05).Patients with hepatic metastases and hepatitis B surface antigen positive before chemotherapy were inclined to experience liver function indexes abnormality (P ＜ 0.05).The ALP,γ-GT,TBL,ALB levels after treatment were almost the same as those before treatment (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Taking docetaxel or gemcitabine plus nedaplatin could induce liver function indexes abnormality in patients with advanced nonsmall cell lung cancer.Patients treated by chemotherapy complicated with hepatic metastases,hepatitis B surface antigen positive and treatment by gemcitabine were inclined to experience liver function indexes abnormality,which is value to research.

Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of intrahepatic biliary cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma. Methods Eight patients with intrahepatic biliary cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma treated in our hospital were studied retrospectively. The clinical and pathological data were reviewed. Results Most of the patients had nonspecific symptoms and serum AFP level was normal. Uhrasonography and CT diagnosed correctly in 75% and 87.5% of all patients, respectively. All the 8 patients underwent resection and had no recurrence after operation except that 1 case of cystadenocarcinoma died of recurrence 3 years later. Conclusion The diagnosis of intrahepatic biliary cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma depends on radiography and pathological examination. Surgery is recommended to get satisfactory results.

Objective To explore the clinicopathological features, diagnosis and therapy for pancreatic mutinous noncystic adenocareinoma(MNAC). Methods Eleven MNAC cases treated in our hospital were studied retrospectively. The clinical and pathologic data were reviewed. Results Of the 11 patients, 6 were male and 5 were female. The age ranged from 47 to 76 years with average of 60. 5 years.The main complains included upper abdominal discomfort in 8 cases, abdominal mass in 1 case and jaundice in 2 cases. CA199 serum test was positive in all patients and 5-fold high above normal value in 6 cases. The preoperative radiography of MNAC was usually not specific. Tumors located in the head in 5 cases and in the body and tail of the pancreas in 6 cases. The diameter of the tumor was 4 - 11 cm with average of 6. 5 cm.All cases underwent operation, with radical resection in 2 cases. Liver or abdominal metastasis was found in 5 cases. Postoperative immunohistochemistry showed that MUC-1 was negative in all patients. MUC-2,PCNA and Ki-67 were positive in all patients. All 9 cases that were followed-up died within 5 -22 months,with an average survival time of 10 months. Conclusions The diagnosis of MNAC depends on pathology. Its prognosis is poor.

Objective To analyze the investigation data of the national schistosomiasis surveillance sites in 2015,so as to provide scientific evidences for schistosomiasis control,elimination and surveillance. Methods According to National Schisto-somiasis Surveillance Programme(version 2014),457 surveillance sites were selected,and the investigation data in residents, floating population,domestic animals and Oncomelania hupensis snails were collected and analyzed from four types of endemic counties. Results A total of 4468 seropositive cases were detected from 133350 residents,among which 4457 residents with seropositive results received the etiological tests,and 71 of them were identified with positive results. Most of them were fisher-men and farmers in the middle and old-aged group. The schistosomiasis infection rate was 0.05% in local population. Totally 977 seropositive cases were examined from 85047 migrant individuals,and 16 positive cases were found out from 966 individuals who took etiological tests,which showed the schistosomiasis infection rate was 0.02% in floating population. Imported cases were found among floating people in four provinces,namely Zhejiang,Hunan,Hubei and Anhui provinces. No acute schistoso-miasis cases were reported. A total of 13406 head of cattle received examinations and only 5 were determined as stool positives. The cattle infection rate was 0.04%. The snail survey covered an area of 22295.13 hm2 and snails were found in an area of 7426.63 hm2,including 3.47 hm2 newly detected area with snails. No schistosome-infected snails were found. Conclusions Based on the collected data from 457 national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of China,the Schistosoma japonicum infection rate is 0.05% in local population which maintains a stably descending trend. In floating population,there are imported schistosome-in-fected persons. Cattle are still a vulnerable species infected with schistosome. Although no infected snails are found,snails are widely distributed in endemic areas. Some provinces detect areas with snails for the first time or the reproduction of snails. The staff in endemic provinces should carry out the surveillance work according to National Schistosomiasis Surveillance Programme (version2014)to improve the surveillance system,and enhance the sensibility and effectiveness of surveillance work.

A 2,4 -dichlorophenol degrading Pseudomonas strain GI241-1 was isolated from a soil sample. The dienelactone hydrolase gene, designated as dcpD which encodes dienelactone hydrolase involved in transforming cis-2-chloro-dienelactone into 2-chloromaleylacetic acid, was cloned from this bacterium strain. The gene cloning strategy was to construct genomic library after location of its neighbouring gene by Southem blot and to screen the aim transformant by dot blotting. Sequencing results showed that length of dcpD is 702bp. The sequence of dcpD and the deduced amino acid are different from the relative sequences registered in the GenBank.

Objective To study the effect of early nutrition on the development of physique and small intestine inrats with intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR). Methods Eight normal pubs fed with normal protein diet (20 % )were used as normal controls. The IUGR pups were assigned into normal protein diet group (IC group), low-protein dietgroup (IL group) and high protein diet group (IH group). On the 1st, 21st and 28th day after birth respectively, theweight and length of small intestine (SI), the body weight and length, and the activities of disaccharidase weremeasured. Results The body weight and length, weight and length of SI in rats with IUGR at birth were allsignificantly lower than those in normal rats ( P ＜ 0.05). Body length, body weight, length and weight of SI in ILgroup were all lower than those in IC, IH and normal control groups in the first 4 weeks after birth. The physique andsmall intestine in IH group caught up growth quickly, the body weight in the 4th week reached the normal value. In thethird week, the lactase activity in IL and IH groups were higher than that in normal control group ( P ＜0.05). In the4th week, the sucrase activity in IL group was lower than that in normal control ( P ＜ 0.05).
