One hundred and thirty cases of simple obesity were treated by acupuncture plus auricular point sticking, after a course of treatments, 49 cases got marked effect, 73 cases got effect and 8 cases got no effect, the total effective rate was 93.8%, especially the patients with severe obesity got the best effect.

Objective To explore the prognostic factors of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.Methods 139 cases of advanced non-small cell lung cancer were analyzed in sex,age,clinical stage,pathology and therapylAll the cases were cytopathologically or histopathologically proved.Product limit method was used to calculate the survival rate,its significance was tested by Log-rank test,factors related to the prognosis were analyzed by the method of Cox regression analysis.Results The overall median survival time was 8 months,6-month survival rate was 59.9%,12-month survival rate was 35.8%,24-month survival rate was 14.3%.The 24-month survival rate was 46.4%in treatment with operatiom plus chemotherapy,32.2% in chemotherapy plus radiotherapy,9.5%in treatment with chemotherapy alone,3.0%in treatment with best supportive care(P＜0.05).Conclusion Different treatments are important factors affecting prognosis of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

Objective To find out evidences for the identification of Ajuga decumbens Thunb.(Jinchuangxiaocao) and Pogostemon cablin (Blanco.) Benth.(Guanghuoxiang) . Methods Fresh stems and leaves of the two species were collected and used as the samples. We used stereoscopy to observe and compare the macroscopic appearance of the original plants, and used light microscope to observe the stem cross-section, petiole cross-section, leaf epiderm and powder of the two species for microscopic identification. Results The results of macroscopic character identification showed that the petiole of Jinchuangxiaocao had narrow wing, while that of Guanghuoxiang had no narrow wing; the angles between leaf main vein and lateral vein of Jinchuangxiaocao were less than 45°, while the angles of Guanghuoxiang were more than 45°. In respect of microscopic identification, Jinchuangxiaocao had the glandular scales with multicellular head, and Guanghuoxiang had the glandular scales with one-celled head; the intercellular space and crystals were found in the cortex of Guanghuoxiang stems and mesophyll, while Jinchuangxiaocao has no such structures. Jinchuangxiaocao had diacytic and anomocytic stomata, and Guanghuoxiang only had diacytic stomata. Conclusion The appearance and microscopic differences can be used for the identification of Jinchuangxiaocao from Guanghuoxiang.

Objective To investigate the role of basic fibroblast growth factor（bFGF）on the vascularization of bone matrix gelatin（BMG） embedded vascular bundles in femoral anteriomedialis in the rabbits.Methods A longitudinal incision was done at the hyper-knee joint of femoral anteriomedialis in the Japan big ears white rabbit.Thirty six rabbits were divided into group A（n =12,arteria saphena and vena saphena were liberated and embeded to the groove of BMG soaked by 2 μg/ml bFGF0,group B（n =12,arteria saphena and vena saphena were liberated and embeded to the groove of BMG untreated）,and group C（n =12,the BMG untreated were directly implanted）.The rabbits were sacrificed at 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks after the surgery respectively by perfusing ink.After the implants were dislodged,transparent specimens were made and Masson stained for histological observations and quantitative analysis.Results After 12 weeks of operation,the neovascularization arranged in an ordered manner in group A,gradually trended to be orderly in group B,and were cluttered mainly on the edge of the implants in group C.The osteogenic and neovascularization areas of group A were the largest on each time point.Conclusion bFGF could promote the vascularization of BMG embedded vascular bundle.There was a positive correlation between osteogenesis and vascularization.

BACKGROUND:Genotype of Kunming mice was similar to human population,thus an establishment of embryonic stem cell line is beneficial for research of transgenic animal.However,the best time to collect embryo has been less reported yet.OBJECTIVE:To find the best time to collect embryos from Kunming mice.METHODS:The embryos were collected from mother mice of 2.5,3.5,and 4.5 pregnant days.Microscope was used to evaluate the growth condition of embryos,embryo attaching rate(A/C),inner cell mass(ICM)growing rate(I/C),embryonic stem cells (ESCs)clone growing rate(P1/C)and ESCs subclone growing rate(P2/C).The cells were then stained with alkaline phosphatase.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Most of the 2.5-pregnant-day embryos were 16-cell-phase embryos.The 3.5-pregnant-day embryos were morulas while the 4.5-pregnant-day embryos were blastulas.There were no significant differences in A/C,I/C,P1/C,P2/C between 2.5 and 3.5 pregnant days(P ＞ 0.05).The 4.5-pregnant-day indicators mentioned above were significantly greater than those two groups;therefore,4.5-pregnant-day embryos were the best source to culture,clone,isolate and passage ESCs.

Objective To assess the serum CA125 in literatures of ovarian neoplasms based on evidence-based medicine.Methods The relating reports published in the years of 1996—2003 were collected and evaluated according to the evidence-based medicine principles. Main outcomes include design methods,sample screening,establishment of control group,blind method,criteria of diagnostic trials.Results In the reports collected, gold standard was adopted in 62 reports and independent blind method was adopted in 23 reports, criteria of diagnostic trials such as sensitivity, specificity and likelihood ratio were incomplete and there was no descriptions okf potential bias controlling. As for the literatures sharing the same method ,their conclusion did not totally accord with each other.Conclusion There is no evidence to implicate that serum CA125 was considered an independent predictor of the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

Objective:To construct a monoclone cell line expressing M-HBsAg.Methods:Transfected SP2/0 with pRc/CMV-S 2S by Calcium Phosphate Method,selected the cells by G418,detected HBsAg by Dot-blot、ELISA and Western-blot hybridization.Results:By selection of G418,G418 resistent cells were obtained;tests of Western-blot hybridization and ELISA demonstrated their expression of aimed protein.Conclusion:Monoclone Cell Lines of SP2/0-S 2S were obtained.
