AIM:To establish a qualitative fingerprint analysis with capillary GC. METHODS:HP-INNOWAX column(30 m?0.53 mm,1.0 ?m),column temperature:90 ℃(15 min)4 ℃/min180 ℃(5 min)2 ℃/min200 ℃(3 min)10 ℃/min220 ℃(5 min),FID detector temperature:230 ℃. RESULTS:Compared with reference peak of Sec-butyl-cis/trans-1-propentyl disulfide,17 common peaks on fingerprints of the oil from ferula sinkiangensis K.M.Shen were indicated by the method with satisfied stability,precision and repeatability. CONCLUSION:There are good similarities among 10 batches of essential oil from Ferula sinkiangensis K.M.Shen,and this method is reliable,simple and provides a reference standard for the quality control of Ferula sinkiangensis K.M.Shen.

Objective To investigate the changes of histamine receptors in bladder before and after the treatment by sodium hyaluronate in rats of interstial cystitis (IC). Methods Twenty IC model rats were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 10 for each group.The bladders in experimental group were filled with sodium hyaluronate, while the rats in control group were executed at once. The bladders were dyed with HE staining, special staining and immunohistochemistry staining to count the number of mononuclear cells and mast cells and observe the changes of histamine receptors. Results In experimental group,the counts of mononuclear cells and mast cells were 12.20±2.48 and 2.90±0.87 respectively;the numbers of average optical of histamine receptor H1, H2, H3, H4 were 0.015±0.007, 0.006±0.001, 0.007±0.004, 0.061±0.026 , respectively. In control group, the counts of mononuclear cells and mast cells were 23.90±3.07 and 7.08±1.23;the numbers of average optical of histamine receptor H1, H2, H3, H4 were 0.055±0.033, 0.031±0.023, 0.033±0.017, 0.091±0.059, respectively. The differences of mononuclear cells and mast cells were significant between the 2 groups(P＜0.01). The differences of average optical of histamine receptor H1, H2, H3 between the 2 group were significant (P＜0.05), while the difference of histamine receptor H4 was not significant(P＞0.05). Conclusion Histamine receptor H1, H2, H3 take part in the development of IC, the antagons may be used for the treament of IC.

Objective To investigate expression of glutathione S-transferase(GST) mRNA in peripheral blood of the population in coal-burning fluorosis area and to evaluate the effect of comprehensive control intervention. Methods Fifty samples of peripheral blood from patients in the coal-buring fluorosis area in Bijie county of Guizhou province were selected as fluorasis group and 50 samples of peripheral blood from patients in area with comprehensive management were selected as intervention group, respectively. Fifty samples from non-endemic fluorosis area were selected as the control group. Total RNA from blood was extracted and purified by the Trizol- Phenol-Chloroform one-step method. Expression of GST mRNA was detected by using SYBR Green I real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. Results The data of GST mRNA in fluorosis group, intervention group and control group was 38.28±27.22,70.56±37.23 and 103.46 ± 46.62, respectively. There was a significant difference between the groups(F = 3.75, P < 0.05). Decreased expression of GST mRNA in fluorosis group and intervention group as compare to control was detected(all P < 0.05), and the expression of GST mRNA in intervention group was higher than that in fluorosis group(P < 0.05). Conclusion Coal-burning fluorosis possibly led to the decreased expression of GST mRNA in peripheral blood, and comprehensive control maybe prevent the decreased expression of GST in mRNA level.

To retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 42 patients at our department with bulbar myasthenia gravis.They underwent video-assisted thoracoscopic extended thymectomy (VATET) from May 2003 to August 2010.Another 42 patients treated with medications alone were selected as controls.Compared with the control group (4.32 ± 0.23),postoperative dysphagia scores improved significantly in patients undergoing VATET(9.21 ±0.41).And so did the dysphagia assessment classification (P ＜0.05).Thus VATET could effectively and definitely relieve dysphagia in patients with bulbar myasthenia gravis.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Nebivolol on patients with mild or moderate essential hypertension(EH) using different methods of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.Methods Forty-seven patients with mild or moderate EH were enrolled as our subjects after a 2-week administration of placebo.They were administrated Nebivolol (5 mg) once daily for 12 weeks.All the patients completed ambulatory blood pressure monitoring before and after taking Nebivolol for 12 weeks.The overall and individual methods were used to calculate the trough-to-peak ratio (T/P ratio) and smooth index (SI).Results (1) For all of 42 patients treated with Nebivolol (5 mg) for 12 weeks,the systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP) of the whole-day,daytime and nighttime after treatment were decreased compared to before treatment (the whole day:(144.1 ± 9.8),(124.4 ± 10.4) mmHg vs.(93.2 ± 6.3),(79.2 ± 7.2) mmHg;daytime:(148.9 ± 9.7),(128.3 ± 10.5) mmHg vs.(96.8 ±6.1),(82.2 ±7.5) mmHg;nighttime:(133.9 ± 11.9),(115.9 ± 12.0) mmHg vs.(85.7 ± 8.0),(72.5 ± 7.5) mmHg),and there was significant difference (t =8.06,8.74,8.00,8.82,5.75,and 6.57 respectively; P ＜ 0.01).T/P ratios of SBP/DBP calculated by overall method were 78.4％ (17.4/22.2) and 61.2％ (9.0/14.7),but it were (79.3 ±0.4) ％ and (58.5 ±0.5) ％ by individual calculation method.(2) Among 30 patients with better effect,the SBP,DBP of the whole-day,daytime and nighttime after treatment were decreased compared to before treatment (the whole day:(143.4 ± 9.1),(127.5 ±10.7) mmHgvs.(92.6 ±6.2),(81.6±7.6) mmHg;daytime:(147.8 ±9.1),(131.0 ±10.5)mmHg vs.(95.8 ± 6.4),(84.1 ± 7.5) mmHg; nighttime:(134.7 ± 11.6),(119.6 ± 13.2) mmHg vs.(86.2 ± 7.4),(75.2 ± 8.5) mmHg),and there was significant difference(t =11.18,12.77,11.14,12.85,7.37,and 8.74 respectively,P ＜0.01).T/P ratios of SBP/DBP were 78.9％ (18.3/23.2),75.3％ (11.6/15.4) and SIof SBP/DBP were 7.4(19.5/2.6),7.1 (14.2/2.0) calculated by overall method,but T/P ratios of SBP/DBPwere (78.4 ± 0.4) ％,(74.6 ± 0.4) ％ and SI were (1.35 ± 0.73),(1.34 ± 0.54) calculated by individualmethod.Conclusion Nebivolol (5 mg once daily) can significantly reduce ambulatory blood pressure.Overall calculation method is better than individual method in terms of assessing the time of durative action and smooth effect by trough peak ratio and smooth index.

Objective The purpose of this study was to analyze the alterations of T_1、T_2 lymphocyte subsets in the peripheral blood of patients with colorectal cancer. MethodsTwenty patients with primary colorectal cancer were enrolled into this study, T_1 and T_2 in the peripheral blood were evaluated by detecting the intracellular interferon-? and interleukin-4 production with 4-color flow cytometry. Objective To explore the complication and its cause and treatment of pace markers implantation in older patient.Methods Among 205 older patients aged 70 to 90 years,103 were male,the others were female.Of these patients,162 were implanted with single chamber pace marker,43 with dual chamber pace markers.Results 21 patients happened complication(10.2%),the common complications related to operation were blood effusion and hematoma formation in pocket 12 cases,lead dislodgement 4 cases and infection with or without pocket rapture 2 cases.Occurrence of blood effusion was related to aspirin administration,lead dislodgement and infection with or without pocket rapture were related to operation.Conclusion To pay attention to ample preparation,close operation and strict observation can decrease the complication rate when pace marker is implanted.The serious result will be avoided by timely and effective treatment.The older patient with pace markers implantation is safe.

Objective To investigate the changes of 4 histamine receptors (H1R, H2R, H2R and H4 R)in interstitial cystitis on animal experimental models. Methods Thirty female SD rats (250-300 g) were randomly divided into 2 groups as follows: 20 in experimental group and 10 in control group. The experimental group was filled with protamine sulfate+ potassium chloride to create interstitial cystitis model, the control group was sacrificed directly. At the end of the experiment, the bladders of all these SD rats were studied by the immunohistochemistry staining and the value of their mean absorbance (-A) was calculated by IPP4.5 image analysis software. The SPSS 11.5 was used to analyze the differences between the groups. Results Four kinds of histamine receptors mainly expressed in the bladder epithelium. In the experimental group, the (-A) of H1 R was 0. 054±0.031, the of H2R was 0.032±0.021, the (-A) of H3R was 0.047±0.033 and the (-A) of H4R was 0. 149±0. 191,respectively. In the control group, the A of H1R was 0. 017±0. 011, the (-A) of H2R was 0. 018±0. 015, the (-A) of H3R was 0. 014±0. 011, the (-A) of H4R was 0. 060±0.039, respectively. In contrast,the A of H1 R, H2 R and H3R in experimental group was increased significantly(P＜0.05); there was no significant change in (-A) of H4R expression(P＞0.05). Conclusions H1, H2 and H3 receptors in rat model interstitial cystitis bladder epithelium have increased and it indicates H1 R, H2R and H3R may be related to interstitial cystitis. H3 R may be a new treatment target of interstitial cystitis.
