Objective By analyzing the epidemiological characteristics and trends of brucellosis in Ji'nan City,to provide a scientific basis for further prevention and control of the disease.Methods Serum samples of suspected brucellosis patients were collected from every county (city,district) of Ji'nan City from 2008 to 2014,and these samples were screened by Rose-bengal plate agglutination test (RBPT).Then positive samples were confirmed by Standard tube agglutination test (SAT),and experimental data and results were analyzed by statistics.Results Totally 2713 serum samples of suspected brucellosis patients were tested,and 200 were positive by SAT.Temporal distribution:the serum antibody positive specimens were detected each month throughout the year,and the results showed clear seasonal prevalence by concentrating from March to September (82.07％,151/184).Population distribution:the serum antibody positive rate of males was higher than that of females,the ratio was 2.08:1.00,and the cases were found among 15 to 75 years old,while concentrated from 30 to 65 (67.00％,134/200).Spatial distribution:except Huaiyin District,positive samples were detected in all other 10 counties (cities,districts) of Ji'nan City,most of them (92.5％,185/200) in Shanghe,Zhangqiu,Changqing,Shizhong and Licheng counties (cities,districts).Conclusions Brucellosis epidemic in Ji'nan is serious,and cases have occurred mostly in spring,summer and autumn.It is recommended that health propaganda and education should be strengthened in order to enhance selfprotection awareness of the exposed population,and then improve the physical examination for early discovery,early reporting and early treatment.At the same time,it is important to cooperate with the Department of Livestock to prevent and control brucellosis.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect,safety,and value of bronchofibroscopeguided bronchoalveolar lavage and topical antibiotics in the treatment of pediatric patients with severe pneumonia.Methods A total of 60 patients with severe pneumonia was randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with conventional anti-infection therapy,while patients in the treatment group were treated with bronchofibroscope-guided bronchoalveolar lavage and topical antibiotics on the basis of conventional therapy.The sputum positive rate,clinical effect,hospital stays,treatment costs,and adverse reactions were compared to analyze its value.Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 93.3％,which was significantly higher than that (60.0％) in the control group (P ＜0.01).The sputum positive rate of treatment group was 80.0％,which was significantly higher than that (43.3％) in the control group (P ＜0.01).The hospital stays and the treatment costs of the treatment group were both significantly less than those in control group (P ＜0.01 orP ＜0.05).No serious complications were found in patients of the treatment group.Conclusions Bronchofibroscope-guided bronchoalveolar lavage and topical antibiotics in the treatment of pediatric patients with severe pneumonia show exactly clinical effects and significant improvement in dyspnea,which shortens the hospital stays,reduces the treatment costs,and has no seriously adverse reactions.Therefore,it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.

Objective To compare the therapeutic effect of combined fascia sheath suspension and frontal muscle flap suspension in the treatment of congenital severe congenital ptosis.Methods 46 cases (58 eyes) with congenital severe upper eyelid prolapse who were treated from March 2015 to March 2016 in Eye Hospital of Hebei Province were selected.The patients were divided into two groups:combined fascial sheath suspension group and frontalis muscle flap suspension.Comparisons of postoperative patients with eyelid height,eyelid radian,corneal exposure with eyes closed,eyelid activity,complication of the situation were carried out.And patient satisfaction survey was conducted.Results The effective rate of combined fascial sheath suspension group was 93.10％,the complication rate was 6.9％,and the patient satisfaction rate was 91.22±0.37,significantly better than the frontal muscle flap suspension group of patients (75.86 ％,24.14 ％ and 75.05 ± 0.28,respectively).The time of closure of the eyelid was shortened,the complications were less,and the eyelid had better activity.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusions Combined fascia sheath for congenital severe upper eyelid droop is significant,with fewer complications and a higher rate of satisfaction,which is worth clinical promotion.

Objective To dynamically observe the changes of the plasma superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity and malondialde-hyde(MDA) content of rabbits with hemorrhagic shock in high latitude .Methods 28 rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups :0 .9% NaCl group ,7 .5% NaCl group ,Voluven(6% HES 130/0 .4) group and control group .The plasma SOD activity and MDA content were measured before shock .At 30 minutes of shock and 30 minutes later of volumetric resuscitation .Then the changes of MAP were observed .Results There were no static difference among 4 groups in the levels of SOD and MDA before shock ;at 30 minutes of shock ,the SOD activity was reduced signicantly and the MDA content was increased in each group (P<0 .01) .Afer fluid infusion there were no obvious change in the plasma levels of SOD and MDA compared with those of shock in 0 .9% NaCl group and in 7 .5% NaCl group(P>0 .05) ,whereas in Voluven group ,compared with those in 0 .9% NaCl and 7 .5% NaCl group the SOD activity was elevated signicantly and the MDA content was decreased (P<0 .01) .Conclusion Voluven can be used in scan-venging oxygen free redicals by recovering the plasma SOD activity in rabbits with hemorrhagic shock in high latitude .

BACKGROUND:Autologous hard palate mucosa has been validated to be a substitute of the tarsal conjunctival. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the treatment outcomes of autologous hard palate mucosa applied in the eyelid reconstruction. METHODS:180 patients (180 eyes) with eyelid defects aged 10-63 years old were recruited, including 122 males and 58 females, and subjected to the transplantation of autologous hard palate mucosa. In the same time, flaps were designed and transferred into the defected eyelid soft tissues. All patients were followed up for over 3 months to observe the treatment outcomes. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Three months after surgery, viscous secretions were found in the implanted region and conjunctival sac, which were relieved and eliminated by usage of antibiotic drops. All implanted hard palate mucosa survived within 1 year, neither infections nor falling off occurred, and blood vessels growth into the implant-tissue conjugation that inosculated with the host vessels presenting no rejection. The implants revealed different degrees of shrink in 132 patients, but the eye function was normal. During the hospitalization, some uncomfortable feeling such as eye pain had been relieved, and the wound showed no infections and healed well. During the follow-up, there were eight patients with slight lower eyelid ectropion and three with hypophasis. The length or height difference of both eyelids was within 2 mm, except those who lost eye bal s. These results suggest that autologous hard palate mucosa achieve satisfactory outcomes in the eyelid reconstruction and possesses good histocompatibility.

Objective To investigate the clinicopathologic characteristics,therapy and prognostic factors of small cell carcinoma of the cervix.Methods Clinical and pathological data of eight patients were analyzed retrospectively.Results Eight patients all presented with symptoms of abnormal vaginal bleeding or postcoital spotting.One patient had stage Ⅰ b1 disease,2 had stage Ⅰ b2 disease.2 had stage Ⅱ b disease and 3 had stage Ⅲ b disease.Histopathologic findings showed the small tumor cells had scant cytoplasm,round nuclei,absence of nucleoli,and finely dispersed chromatin.Immunohistochemical findings were positive in 7 cases for neuron-specific enolase.Three patients with stage Ⅰ b disease and 1patient with stage Ⅲb disease underwent radical hysterectomy and postoperative chemotherapy.with or without radiotherapy,and the survival period was 64,22,14 and 6 months respectively.Two patients with stage Ⅱ b disease and 2 with stage Ⅲ b disease underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy,and the survival period was 25,9,10 and 5 months respectively.Conclusions Immunohistochemical analysis using several kinds of neuroendocrine markers is helpful in establishing the correct diagnosis in addition to focusing on characteristic histopathological features.It is necessary to use comprehensive treatment including surgery,chemotherapy and radiotherapy for patients with small cell carcinoma of the cervix.Chemotherapy may play an important role in the treatment.

Objective To analyze the false-positive results of Treponema pallidum antibody caused by 3 different assay in comparison with Treponema pallidum hemagglutination assay (TPHA).Methods Research group included 3957 clinically asymptomatic syphilis patients,and control group was 344 outpatients with sex-transmitted diseases (STD).The serum samples from the patients who were TPHA-positive were tested in parallel by enzymeimmunoassay (EIA) and syphilis toluidine red untreated serum test (TRUST).Western blot (WB) was performed as confirmatory test.Results In the clinically asymptomatic patients,60 were TPHA-positive.Among them 57 were confirmed by western blot assay,and 1 was false-positive and 2 were borderline in WB.Of the 60 TPHA-positive patients,53 were positive in EIA and 23 were positive in TRUST.In STD patients 40 were TPHA,WB and EIA-positive but 32 were TRUST-positive.Conclusions The results of TPHA and EIA were consistent for diagnosis of syphilis patients who may suffer from previous or latent infection.

Objective To develop a field psychological emergency rescue chest to improve mental health service during disaster relief.Methods The instruments and medicine involved in for mental health were determined based on service orientation,function design and expert survey,and the psychological emergency rescue chest was developed based on optimization of the external and internal structures of field Ⅳ-type chest.Results The chest developed was composed of office instruments,psychological devices,logistics instruments and first-aid medicine for mental health.conclusion The chest gains advantages in design,structure,size,transport,utilization,equipped devices and function integration,and thus is worthy promoting for field mental health service during disaster relief.
