2.Structural and Characteristics of Exopolysaccharide Produced by Alcaligenes sp.NX-3
Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
The structure and characteristics of the soluble exopolysaccharide(PS-238) produced by Alcaligenes sp.NX-3 were studied. The analytic sample was prepared by ethanol precipitation then proteins were removed by the Sevag method. The components of polysaccharide were identified by TLC、 GC and chemical method after acid hydrolysis as: glucose, mannose, rhamnose and glucuronic acid.By means of IR and periodate oxidation,it showed that the polysaccharide was mainly consisting of(1→3)and(1→4) glucosidic linkages. The relation between viscosity and shear rate、concentration、temperature、pH and salts was investigated. The results showed that the solution of PS-238 is a typical pseudoplastic liquid, having high viscosity at low concentrations. The viscosity of 1%PS-238 water solution could reach 3300cp at 25℃.It has the excellent stability towards pH2~13,also has outstanding property of viscosity retention even at temperatures up to 150℃.Some kinds of salts were cooperated with PS-238 as a thickening agent.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;38(5):278-281,后插6
Objective To explore the molecular targets and mechanisms that could influence the sensitivity of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) to chemotherapy,to provide important references for the chemotherapy based on gene detection. Methods The gene expression dataset GSE43502 was downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus in National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).Gene expression data preprocessing was conducted by R Programming. The differentially expressed genes in the TNBC patients that relapsed after chemotherapy compared with the non-relapsed ones were obtained.Besides, the Database for Annotation Visualization and Integrated analysis (DAVID) was used for functional analysis of those genes. The microRNA (miRNA) that might regulate the differentially expressed genes was obtained from the starBase database.Furthermore,Cytoscape was used for the construction of miRNA-gene regulation network. Results Three hundred and twelve differentially expressed genes were obtained. Some biological process related to cell membrane, metal ion homeostasis and pathways involved in immune and inflammatory were found to be enriched in those genes.Furthermore,171 miRNA that might regulate the differentially expressed genes were obtained and 553 miRNA-gene regulation pairs were formed. Conclusions hsa-miR-30d-5p,SIX4,etc.might influence the sensitivity of TNBC to chemotherapy through cell structure or immune system.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2013;28(12):938-940
Objective To study the influence of laparoscopic gastric surgery on the gut barrier function (GBF).Methods There were 64 gastric cancer patients undergoing respectively laparoscopic radical procedures (32 cases) and open gastric surgery (32 cases).Blood was drawn on day one before surgery, day 1,day 3 and day 7 after the surgery for the measurement of plasma D-lacate and plasma diamine oxidase activity by using ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Results There was no statistical difference among demographic, clinicopathological characterastics between the two groups (P > 0.05).The difference on the operative time, blood loss and the time starting to take food after the surgery was significant between the two groups,P < 0.05.The differences of plasma D-lacate level and the diamine oxidase (DAO) on perioperatively respective all time points were not significant between the two groups,P > 0.05.Conclusion Laparoscopic radical gastrectomy is comparable to open procedures in causing damage to patient's gut barrier functions.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(6):462-464
The malignant tumor of bone and soft tissue is conventional rays(X,γrays)resistant. The heavy ion rays 12C+ have following characteristics: high linear energy transfer, Bragg peak, small scattering, high biological effect, lethal damage to tumor cell, and double-strand break to the DNA. Therefore, heavy ion rays Call allow tumor target area obtain high radiation doses while surrounding normal tissues get best protection Recent progress of basic and clinical research on heavy ion treating malignant tumor of bone and soft tissue is discussed.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2011;34(2):82-85
Objective The Hilbert- Huang transformation (HHT) method was introduced to process the bio-impedance gastric motility signals from subjects. Methods Nonlinear and non-stationary original gastric motility series were decomposed into a number of intrinsic mode function (1MF) components by the empirical mode decomposition method (EMD).Hilbert transformation was carried out then and instantaneous frequency was extracted effectively.Gastric motility signal among 0.03-0.06 Hz was reconstructed from the IMF.Results The results suggested that HHT was a new and applicable time series analysis method based on mode decomposition and could extract impedance signal and remove the disturbances such as blood flow and breathing. Conclusion The new adaptive mode decomposition-based signal processing method provides a new method to investigate clinical gastric motility information.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility, safety and outcome of laparoscopic total mesorectal excision with sphincter preservation in the treatment of low rectal cancer. Methods From April 2004 to April 2007,laparoscopic total mesorectal excision with sphincter preservation for low rectal carcinoma was performed in 25 cases. The intraoperative risk.recovery,short-term and oncological outcomes of these patients were compared with 25 cases of conventional Dixon's operation. The controls, matched for age, sex, mass margin distance from the anus,Dukes stage, were selected from conventional Dixon's operations performed at the same period as laparoscopic group.T test and Chi-square test were used. Results Laparoscopic procedure was successful in 24 cases while one was converted to Bacon operation. The mean operation time(197±36)min in laparoscopic group was significantly longer than those(172±51)min in open group(t=2.12,P=0.04).The mean operative blood loss was(157±105)ml in laparoscopic group and(304±237)ml in open group(t=-2.95,P=0.01).No significant differences were detected between two groups in specimen length and number of lymph nodes excised. The bowel function was restored earlier in laparoseopic group than that in open group. The overall morbidity rates were 16%and 28%,and the local recurrence rates were 8%and 4%in the two groups respectively. Conclusion Laparoscopic total mesorectal excision is a feasible, safe, minimally invasive technique for rectal cancer.which provides better short-term outcomes and similar oncological outcomes compared with the traditional open procedure.
