In traditional medicine all illness ultimately results from ignorance (ma rig)
which creates the three poisons of the mind: ignorance, attachment and
aversion. The three poisons of mind disorder also three principles of
function (Hii (wind or air) Shar (flame), Badgan (earth and water). That
three principles of function and also three mind poisons of Mahayana’s (Big
Raft) view of Buddhism belong to the one ignorance is such an interesting

Ish-Danzanvanjil /1854-1907/ was a great scientist, author, poet,
famous doctor and enlightener of the 19th Century). Coral Tassel,
one of the famous creations, written by Ish-Danzanvanjil in the
field of medical science and however there is not any complex
analysis of the work in its content today. A complete research and
determination of content and significance of the work has
theoretical and practical importance. In order to do this research
we aim to make comparative analysis on content and structure of
the prescriptions that were specified in Coral Tassel and used a
xylograph 33 pages original version of Juru Do Sil that was written
by Ish-Danzanvanjil in Tibetan language in 1868 as research
material. The research was conducted by methods of analyze,
conclude, review, inspection and research method of original
source. There were totally specified 250 prescriptions in the work
and 131 of them are named and 110 of them have no name. One
specification of the prescriptions is that there were written
prescriptions of 54 medicines besides the comparing works and
additionally 9 prescriptions in it. Ish-Danzanvanjil named and
evaluated the importance of 48 prescriptions as below: 1. This is a
handbook for helping all people. 2. It has no doubt to use. 3. My
heart precious. 4. I can confirm this is holy mineral water. 5. This
is skilled. 6. I saw it helped people to recover. 7. This is my
handbook. 8. I saw it helped people. 9. There is other content
more than it. 10. I saw it myself. 11. This is a true method of
recovery. 12. I have not other medicine more than it in my mind.
13. This is a diamond that can cure disease. 14. It is helpful. 15. A
wonderful custom. We can conclude that the above-mentioned
prescriptions were used by Ish-Danzanvanjil for treating diseases
and confirmed by his experience. This is approximately 20% of all
the prescriptions that were specified in the work and we can see
that Ish-Danzanvanjil wrote this creation based on his treatment
experience of many years. During the analysis of the
prescriptions, indicated in the work there were 25 prescriptions
which are used with additional ingredients and the most of them
were 8 prescriptions that were added to Chun-5. This specification
which one prescription can be used by adding another
prescription is different than other works. We have compared total
131 prescriptions and ingredients that were named and specified
in Coral Tassel with another works such as “Four Bases of
Medical Science”, “Four Minerals”, written by Ishbaljir, one of the
intelligent medical scientists of Mongolia and “Lkhantav”, written
by DesridSanjaajamts, one of the Tibetan scientists of the 18th
Century and the result was that there are 7 prescriptions,
geminated in the works. These compared prescriptions were
written in “Four Minerals” for 38 times and in “Lkhantav” for 27
times. This confirms that Ish-Danzanvanjil read “Four Minerals”
much more than other books and quoted from the book.
