1."Thinking about the Innovation of TCM Based on the Theory of""Wind of History""-Talking about the Inheritance and Innovation of TCM"
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2013;(12):1377-1381
[Objective]The relationship of inheritance and innovation is one of most important problems of TCM.Wind of historyis a historical theory pro-posed by Liu Xianxin. We use the theory to analyze the inheritance and innovation in the history of TCM, so that we can identify the relationship of inheri-tance and innovation of TCM under current background. [Methods]Based onWind of historytheory, we try to analyze classic innovated case in the history of TCM.After that, we analyze the current relationship and controversy of inheritance and innovation of TCM. [Results]We find that al innovation comes from the interaction of inheritance and the Wind of history. Different innovation comes from the interaction of different problems and different wind. [Conclusions]We need not make innovation as the purpose or requirements imposed on TCM. If we have better inheritance, innovation is just there when we confront new problem.

4.The Influences of Immune Suspression by Oral Administration of Type Ⅱ Collagen on Rat Rheumatic Osteoarthritis and Traumatic Osteoarthritis
Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 1982;0(01):-
Purpose: To study the influences of immune suspression by oral administration of type Ⅱ collagen on the pathogenesis of collagen induced arthritis(CIA) and traumatic oseoarthritis(OA) in rats; Methods: Rat knee traumatic osteoarthritis model made by excision of medial collateral ligament and medial meniscetomy and CIA model were applied for the observation of the changes on hisological and histochemical staining and the inhibition of T cells after oral administration of type Ⅱ collagen. Results: In OA, although the T cells were suspressed by oral administration of type Ⅱ collagen, however, the the pathogenesis was not hindered comparing with RA. It indicated that for OA, machanical factor is more important than the immunological factor, oral administration of type Ⅱ collagen has little effect on decreasing the speed of development of OA. It is not adequate to take the remedy of oral administation of type Ⅱ collagen for the treatment of OA.

6.Clinical presentation and diagnosis criterion of pediatric hypertension
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(13):968-971
There is a trackphenomenon in the development of hypertension and pediatric hypertension has an important predictive value for adult hypertension. However pediatric hypertension is not typical and normal blood pressure is associated with age,sex and height. The blood pressure level, clinical presentation and complication rates of secondary pediatric hypertension are higher than primary pediatric hypertension. So secondary pediatric hypertension could get timely treatment compared to primary pediatric hypertension. This paper focus on the clinical presentation and diagnosis criterion of pediatric hypertension and provide a reference for the pediatrician.
7.The influence of dichloroacetate combined with cisplatin on the apoptosis of colorectal carcinoma cells HCT116
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2015;30(2):138-141
Objective To explore the effects of dichloroacetate (DCA) combined with cisplatin on the apoptosis of HCT116 and possible mechanisms. Methods The inhibitory effects of DCA and cisplatin alone or in combination on colorectal carcinoma cell line HCT116 were examined by MTT and Hoechst 33342 staining, the mitochondrial membrane potential changes were measured by Rodanmine123 staining under fluorescent microscope. The expression of bcl-2 was checked by qPCR.The activity of caspase-3 was assayed. Results DCA or cisplatin alone could inhibit the growth of HCT116 in a time and dose dependent manner.Compared with single drug treatment, there was significantly synergistic effect after treatment of DCA combined with cisplatin for 48 hours.Compared with the single drug treatment, the nuclear morphological changes such as chromatin condensation and fragmentation were more severe, and the mitochondrial transmembrane potential declines were markedly apparent for DCA + cisplatin group. The expression of bcl-2 gene in combination group was inhibited (P < 0.05),and the activity of caspase-3 significantly increased (P < 0.01).Conclusions DCA could inhibit the proliferation and induce the apoptosis of HCT116 cells in a time and dose dependent manner. The combination use of DCA and cisplatin has a synergistic effect on the biological action of HCT116.This may be attributed to lowering of mitochondrial transmembrane potential and the suppressed expression of bcl-2 gene.
8.Dickkopf-1 silencing inhibits invasion and epithelial-mesenchymal transition in gastric carcinoma cells by down-regulating β-catenin
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2017;33(8):1428-1435
AIM: To explore the expression of Dickkopf-1 (DKK1) in human gastric carcinoma cells, and the influences of DKK1 gene silencing on cell invasion.METHODS: The levels of DKK1 in the human gastric mucosa cell line GES-1 and gastric carcinoma cell lines MKN-45 and SGC-7901 were detected by real-time PCR and Western blot.DKK1 gene was silenced by RNA interference, which was verified by real-time PCR, Western blot and ELISA.The cell invasion ability was determined by Transwell assay, and the cell proliferation was inhibited by mitomycin C.The levels of E-cadherin, N-cadherin, vimentin and β-catenin were determined by real-time PCR and Western blot.RESULTS: The expression of DKK1 was significantly higher in MKN-45 cells and SGC-7901 cells than that in GES-1 cells, indicating that DKK1 expression was obviously increased in gastric carcinoma cells. After successful silencing of DKK1 gene in the MKN-45 cells and SGC-7901 cells, the cell invasion ability was markedly decreased in a time-dependent pattern with increased expression of E-cadherin and decreased expression of N-cadherin and vimentin, indicating that DKK1 silencing dramatically inhibited gastric carcinoma cell invasion and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).The introduction of exogenous recombinant DKK1 (rDKK1) demonstrated the promoting effect of DKK1 on gastric carcinoma cell invasion and EMT.In addition, the inhibitory effects of DKK1 silencing on gastric carcinoma cell invasion and EMT were fulfilled by down-regulating β-catenin.CONCLUSION: The expression of DKK1 is significantly increased in human gastric carcinoma cells.Silencing of DKK1 markedly inhibits gastric carcinoma cell invasion and EMT by down-regulating β-catenin.
9.Effects of dexmedetomidine on the perioperative stress in patients undergoing uvulopalatopharyngoplasty
The Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology 2017;33(8):738-741
Objective To observe the effects of dexmedetomidine on the perioperative stress in patients undergoing uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP).Methods Sixty patients scheduled for uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP), all males, aged 18-65 years, of ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ, were selected randomly. Then the patients were divided into dexmedetomidine group (group D) and control group (group C), 30 patients in each group. The patients of group D were administered 1.0 μg/kg bolus dose of dexmedetomidine over 10 min before tracheal intubation, followed by 0.5 μg·kg-1·h-1 infusion for 12 hours in ICU after surgery. And the patients in group C were given normal saline instead as in group D.The levels of MAP, HR, PaO2, PaCO2, norepinephrine (NE), epinephrine (E), cortisol (Cor), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were recorded at time points of entering operating room (T0), tracheal intubation (T1), 30 min after operation (T2), upon entering ICU (T3), and extubation (T4).Results HR of group D was significantly slower than that of group C during T1-T4 (P<0.05).MAP of group D was lower than that of group C during T1-T4 (P<0.05).The levels of NE, E, Cor, IL-6, TNF-α of group D were significantly lower than that of group C during T1-T4(P<0.05).Compared with group C , the incidence of cough reflex during extubation was lower in group D significantly (P<0.05).Conclusion Intravenous infusion of dexmedetomidine can suppress perioperative stress effectively and stabilize hemodynamics for the patients undergoing UPPP without prolonging the recovering time, extubation time and the duration in ICU.
10.Abnormal glycometabolism in tumor cells
Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(12):883-885
The abnormal glucose metabolism of tumor cells is associated with a variety of mechanisms.Hypoxia inducible factor (HIF) is able to activate the glycolytic enzymes, which is conducive to getting energy through glycolysis. The dysfunction or the depletion in numbers of mitochondria can inhibit the oxidative phosphorylation pathway of glucose to some extent. The activation of oncogenes and the inactivation of tumor suppressor genes are also involved in the regulation of mitochondrial respiratory chain and glycolytic enzymes, thus affecting the process of glucose metabolism.Compared with normal cells, the synthesis of oxidative phosphorylation enzymes is inhibited in cancer cells. In addition, the abnormal glucose metabolism plays an important role in the growth, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells.
