Objective To investigate the effect of different composed combination of EGCG and cisplatin on human colon adenocarcinoma cell line SW620 and the related mechanisms. Methods SW620 cells at exponential phase were treated with cisplatin(5 mmol.L-1)and EGCG(0, 25, 50 and 100 mmol.L-1).Seventy hours after the cultivation, cell proliferation was detected with MTT;the percentage of apoptotic cells was determined by flow cytometry;expression levels of JAK2, p-JAK2, p-STAT3, STAT3, Bax, Bcl-2, cleavage-PARP, and cleavage-caspase3 were detected by Western blotting. Results The SW620 cell proliferation rate was(95±5)%,(67±5)%,(42±5)%(22±4)% and the apoptotic rat was 5%, 15%, 35%, 57%in the 0, 25,50, 100 mmol.L-1 EGCG groups, respectively.Moreover, EGCG up-regulated the expression of Bax, cleavage-PARP and cleavage-caspase3(P<0.05)and down-regulated the expression of p-JAK2, p-STAT3 and Bcl-2(P<0.05)in a dose-dependent manner, but had no influence on the expression of JAK2 and STAT3(P>0.05). Conclusion EGCG can promote cisplatin-induced apoptosis and proliferation inhibition of human colon adenocarcinoma cell lines of SW620 by suppressing JAK2/STAT3 gignaling pathway.

This paper introduces the surgeon backpack and medical corpsman backpack which are newly developed for PLA.The twokinds of backpacks being waterproof,water can't penetrate intothem when they are in the rain or floating on water.The basic performance experiments,ergonomics tests and army tryout are performed.The results show that the backpacks are designed reasonably and easy touse.The burthen on the whole backpacks is distributed in the equipment uniformly due toits structure.The physical energy consumption of the person carrying the backpacks decreases due tothe same reason.The medical equipments in the backpacks can accomplish the first aid operations such as binding up,stanching,acesodyne,fastness,ventilation,infection prevention and anti-shock.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Yukuiqing (YKQ) on the expression of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in cultured human renal mesangial cells (HRMC) incubated with AGEs. Methods:The HRMCs were incubated with AGEs (200 ?g/mL) and 1.25% YKQ which was prepared by Chinese herbal medicine serum pharmacological approach for 0,8,16,24,48 and 72h or different concentrations (0.313%,0.625% and 1.25%) of YKQ for 48h,respectively,which were incubated with DMEM and rat serum (RS) as the control. BACKGROUND: With further understanding of deep venous thrombosis(DVT)following total hip replacement,reduction and prevention of DVT has become hot topic in clinical studies.The reports of DVT formation factors remain controversial due to small samples,little statistical significance,confusion of basic experimental and clinical results and lacks of science.OBJECTIVE: To explore the causes and factors for the early DVT following total hip replacement and summarize measures to prevent and treat early DVT to reduce incidence of complications.METHODS: A total of 1780 cases of primary total hip replacement operation were analyzed retrospectively.The statistical indexes included sex,age,body mass,other system disease,previous hip joint operation,anesthesia,operative time,prosthetic fixation,blood transfusion,postoperative functional exercise,antithrombotics,and complication.Standardized database was built and analyzed by SPSS(version 13).Regression analysis was performed using Binary Logistic Regression.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Of 1780 cases,136 had DVT.Age,other system diseases,anesthesia,prosthetic fixation,blood transfusion,postoperative functional exercise and antithrombotics were correlated with early DVT(P < 0.05).Old age,hypertension or diabetes,general anesthesia,fixation of bone cement,whole blood transfusion were the risk factors for early DVT following total hip replacement,while postoperative functional exercise and antithrombotics were the protective factors for DVT.The incidence rate of early complications can be reduced by the methods such as dealing with perioperative treatment carefully,effectively controlling the chronic diseases,efficient evaluation before surgery,precise manipulation,and the postoperative prophylactic treatment and nursing.

Objective To explore the effect of video-based teaching of Lamaze method on delivery among primiparae.Methods One hundred and twenty pregnant women were randomly assigned to the intervention group and the control group with 60 in each.The intervention group received additional train-ing by using the video-based teaching of Lamaze method besides routine antepartum education,while the control group received only routine antepartum education.The cesarean section rate,labor course and neonatal asphyxia were compared between the two groups.Results The rate of natural delivery in the in-tervention group was significantly lower,and the rate of cesarean section caused by social factors decreased,which were all better than those in the control group.Neonatal asphyxia showed no difference between the two groups. Conclusions The video-based teaching of Lamaze method can promote natural delivery,shorten Labor course and worthy of wide application in pregnancy school.

The prevalence of diabetes mellitus and its relative risk factors in adolescents were investigated in Hanjiang district, Yangzhou. A total of 2 153 adolescents aged from 16 to 18 years old from 7 high schools were enrolled. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus and impaired fasting glucose was 6.13% and 16.12%, respectively. The independent risk factors are obesity or overweight.

ObjectiveTo study the relevant pathogenic factors, Thromboxane B2 (TXB2), oxidized low density lipoprotein (OxLDL), lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)), and homocysteine (Hcy), in patients with cerebral infarction and the correlation among them. Methods205 patients and 40 health persons (the control) were measured with the plasma TXB2, 6-keto-prostaglandin F1α (PGF1α) and TXB2/6-keto-PGF1α (T/6-K), OxLDL, Lp(a), Hcy within 24 h. Results and ConclusionThe levels of plasma TXB2, T/6-K，OxLDL, Lp(a), and Hcy significantly increased compared with the controls (P<0.01). OxLDL was correlated with Lp(a); TXB2 was correlated with T/6-K and Hcy; T/6-K was correlated with OxLDL, Lp（a）.

Objective To explore the application values of effect on the expression of growth associated protein-43 (GAP-43) and myelin basic protein(MBP) by electrical stimulation in different sites of spinal cord injured rats after the human umbilical cord blood stem cells transplantation. Methods In this study the subjects adopted are clean grade rats, which were performed with Allen's method by NYU blow device, resulting in SCI models. 192 rats successfully modeled were divided into groups according to the random table. Group A received electric stimulation in the scalp surface projection area of motor area: Group A1 received electric stimulation and transplantation of umbilical cord blood stem cell, while Group A2 only received electric stimulation; Group B received local electric stimulation at damaged site: Group B1 received electric stimulation and transplantation of umbilical cord blood stem cell, while Group B2 only received electric stimulation; Group C received electric stimulation in the scalp surface projection area of motor area and local electric stimulation at damaged site: Group C1 received electric stimulation and transplantation of umbilical cord blood stem cell, while Group C2 only received electric stimulation; Group D are just the SCI models: Group D1 received transplantation of umbilical cord blood stem cell without electric stimulation, while Group D2 neither received cell transplantation nor electric stimulation. The sacrifice time of rats was the 1st week, 2nd week, 3rd week, 4th week, 8th week, and 12th week after operation respectively. The distribution of the remained or regenerative neurons at damaged areas by corticospinal tract anterograde tracer with Biotinylated dextran amine (BDA), and we also detected the content changes of GAP-43, MBP and the MAB1281 specific expression of the human nucleus of human umbilical cord blood stem cells. Results 1). NYU is a blow device for Allen's rat model of SCI, which could quantify the crash potential energy, and gain a stable and repeated model with high successful rate. 2). At each time site in this study, the factors that benefit for the neurofunction restoration after electric stimulation in the microenvironment into which the stem cells have been transplanted are GAP-43 and MBP, and they are all positive; the effects of the combination of head acupuncture with body acupuncture are much better than single head acupuncture or body acupuncture. 3). At each time site in this study, the factors that benefit for the neurofunction restoration after injury are GAP-43 and MBP, and the effects of them are all positive, which do not depend on whether the stem cell transplantation has been done. Conclusion 1). After the stem cell transplantation have been done, the changes of the microenvironment develops in the direction of benefiting for restoring neurofunction, which means that stem cell transplantation can promote the restoration of neurofunction and the stem cell transplantation is successful in this study. 2). Electric stimulation is significantly positive for the factors (GAP-43, MBP) which benefit for restoring neurofunction in the microenvironment after stem cell transplantation, the effects of the combination of head acupuncture with body acupuncture is better than single head acupuncture or body acupuncture. The significantly positive effects of the electric stimulation on microenvironment after injuries are independent, which do not depend on whether the stem cell transplantation has been done. Electric stimulation and stem cell transplantation are significantly synergistic at the microenvironment.

Objective To analyze the correlation between neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR) in peripheral blood and the therapeutic effect and prognosis of patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma treated with tyrosine-kinase inhibitors.Methods Retrospective analysis was utilized to measure the clinical pathological characteristics and follow-up data of 40 cases with advanced lung adenocarcinoma definitely diagnosed by pathology.Correlation analysis was performed by Spearman test,and comparison of the sample rate was measured by the chi square test.Survival analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier method,Log-rank test was used to compare patients survival difference among different groups.COX regression model was utilized to analyze the prognostic factors of patients with lung cancer.Results Through the ROC curve,the optimal cut-off points of NLR and PLR were calculated to be 3.74 and 205.1 respectively.In NLR<3.74 group,objective response rate(ORR),the median progression-free survival(PFS) and the median overall survival(OS) were 86.9%(20/23),9.02 months and 12.37 months respectively.In NLR ≥3.74 group,ORR,the median PFS and the median OS was ORR were 35.2%(6/17),3.15 months and 5.12 months respectively.Compared with NLR ≥ 3.74 group,NLR<3.74 group had a higher ORR(P=0.036),PFS(P=0.011) and OS(P=0.021),the difference was statistically significant.In PLR<205.1 group,ORR,the median PFS and the median OS was ORR were 85.7%(18/21),9.67 months and 14.35 months respectively.In PLR ≥ 205.1 group,ORR,the median PFS and the median OS was ORR were 42.1%(8/19),3.21 months and 9.25 months respectively.Compared with group PLR ≥ 205.1,PLR<205.1 group had a higher ORR(P=0.045) and PFS(P=0.018),the difference was statistically significant.COX multivariate analysis showed that NLR was an independent prognostic factor for PFS(RR=1.091,95%CI:1.004-1.185,P=0.039) and OS(RR=0.986,95%CI:0.932-1.148,P=0.021).PLR was an independent prognostic indicator of PFS(RR=1.100,95%CI:0.996-1.005,P=0.024).Conclusion NLR and PLR may be independent prognostic factors in patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma.
