1.Statins-associated myopathy (analysis of 5 cases)
Journal of Clinical Neurology 1995;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the clinical changes, alterations of electromyography(EMG) and serum-correlated enzyme in statins-associated myopathy. Methods The clinical trait, alterations of EMG and creatases were analyzed in 5 patients with statins-associated myopathy. Results The average age of 5 patients was 60 years old. They took statins from 2 weeks to 2 years and 2 cases of them also took other medicines.4 patiens felt general pain or pain of inferior extremities.3 patients felt limb hypodynamia and 2 patients had mild muscle weakness.3 patients had muscle haphalgesia. The values of creatine kinase in all the cases were increased to different degree.EMG examination was performed in 2 patients. The result of 1 case was normal and the other case was myogenic change. The symptoms of myopathy were nearly recoverd after withdrawal for 2~3 weeks. Conclusions The statins-associated myopathy is not rare in clinic.Old patients or the patients with other foundational diseases have more chance to suffer this disease. But the prognosis is good after in time withdrawal of statins.
2.Effects of isoflurane preconditioning plus mild hypothermia on ischemia-reperfusion injury to isolated rat hearts
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2010;30(5):623-626
Objective To investigate the protective effects of isoflurane preconditioning plus mild hypothermia on isolated rat hearts against ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury. Methods Fifty male SD rats weighing 250-300 g were randomly divided into 5 groups ( n = 10 each): group Ⅰ control (group C); group Ⅱ I/R; group Ⅲ isoflurane preconditioning (group P); group Ⅳ mild hypothermia (group M) and group Ⅴ isoflurane preconditioning + mild hypothermia (group PM). The animals were anesthetized with intraperitoneal pentobarbital 40 mg/kg. The hearts were immediately removed and perfused with Krebs-Hensleit (K-H) solution aerated with 95% O2 and 5% CO2 at 10 kPa via aorta at 37℃ in a Langendorff apparatus. The hearts were made globally ischemic for 30 min followed by 60 min reperfusion in group Ⅱ-Ⅴ. In group P and PM the hearts were perfused with K-H solution saturated with 1.0% isoflurane for 15 min followed by 15 min washout before ischemia. In group M and PM the hearts were made ischemic at 31 ℃ and perfused at 37℃. LVEDP, LVSP, dp/dtmax,dp/dtmm and HR were measured after equilibration (baseline), immediately before ischemia, and at 30 and 60 min reperfusion. The infarct size and cytochrome C level in cytoplasm and mitochondria of myocytes were measured.Motochondrial ultrastructure was examined using electron microscope. Results Cardiac function was significantly better, the infarct size significantly smaller, the cytochrome C level in cytoplasm significantly lower, while the cytochrome C level in mitochondria of myocytes significantly higher in group Ⅲ-Ⅴ than in group Ⅱ and in group Ⅴ than in group Ⅲ. The cytochrome C level in cytoplasm was significantly lower, while the cytochrome C level in mitochondria of myocytes significantly higher in group Ⅴ than in group Ⅳ. Less damage to mitochondria was observed in group PM than in group I/R, P and M. Conclusion Isoflurane preconditioning combined with mild hypothermia provides better protection against myocardial I/R injury by attenuating the release of cytochrome C from mitochrondria.
4.Asessment of the impacts of malocclusion on the childrens oral health related quality of life
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2017;33(4):500-502
Objective:To study the impacts of malocclusion on the oral health-related quality of life(OHRQoL) of children. Methods:The study sample comprised 118 children seeking orthodontic treatment. Each participant of the children and parents was assessed by the orthodontic treatment need and OHRQoL using the index of orthodontic treatment need and Michigan-OHRQoL.Results:The objective impacts of the teeth to parents and children were consistent;parents evaluated higher than the children themselves in the subjective impacts of their teeth. The impacts were more influential on the children whose parents with higher income and the parents with higher education. Conclusion:Malocclusion affects the oral health related quality of life evaluated by both the children and their parents.

The paper introduced the practice of family doctor′s contracted service in Zhenjiang,Jiangsu province over the past six years.By exploring the tiered family doctor′s contracted services, namely 3+X teamwork responsible for household health, health insurance contracting with chronic disease patients, and personalized contracts, the city highlights the cornerstone role of primary care in the Healthy Zhenjiang 2015 Campaign. The campaign aims at providing fair, accessible, systematic and uninterrupted health services.Outcomes of the campaign have proved that the 3+X teamwork model helps building acquaintances relationship with residents by means of contracting, hence motivating both the sector and individuals in the health promotion and building a healthy Zhenjiang.
