OBJECTIVE To discuss the occupational hazard factors and protection measures of Central Supply Unit.METHODS The occupational hazard factors in the Central Supply Unit were analyzed and some suggestion on the occupational protections to decrease occupational risk was done.RESULTS It is necessary to give some special training about the occupational safety,reinforce the precaution of occupational hazard with regard to biology,physics,chemistry and motor function to establish some protection and countermeasures.CONCLUSIONS The pertinent occupational protection strategy according to the actual hazard factors is more efficient and more benefit for high quality management of Central Supply Unit which will enhance the standardization,quality and working efficiency,and ensure the work safety and quality.

Objective To study the effect and safety of controlled-release dinoprostone on the induced labor of late pregnancy . Methods 60 cases of late pregnancy puerpera were treated in our hospital from February 2014 to September 2015, and divided into the control group and the experimental group with reference to the stochastic indicator method, 30 cases in each group. The control group were given induced labor by oxytocin, and the experimental group were given induced labor by controlled-release dinoprostone, Changes of Bishop score, effects of promoting cervical mature, induced labor situation, and adverse reaction were compared between two groups. Results After medication, the cervical Bishop score of the group (8.35±0.93) points were significantly higher than (6.64±0.72) of the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate 96.67％(29/30) of promoting cervical mature in the experimental group was significantly higher than 80.00％ (24/30) of the control group (P<0.05). Medicine to clinical time (14.89±1.57)h and total labor time (6.94±1.52) h of the experimental group were significantly better than (21.48±2.35) h and (9.30±1.31) h of the control group (P<0.05). The rate of delivery by vagina of the experimental group 83.33％ (25/30) was significantly higher than 60.00％ (18/30) of the control group (P<0.05). There was no different on adverse reaction rate between two groups. Conclusion There was good effects of Controlled-release dinoprostone on the induced labor of later pregnancy, with high rate of delivery by vagina and better safety.

Objective To apply fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and magnetic activated cell sorting (MACS) in sorting natural killer (NK) cells from human peripheral blood. The efficiency of these two methods were compared so that the basic conditions for the further study on the lower proportion of peripheral blood cells could be created. Methods Twenty cases of normal peripheral blood and 3 cases of post-hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (post-HSCT) were collected and NK cell were sorted by FACS and MACS. Results Before sorting the normal peripheral blood, the proportion of the NK cell in the leukocyte was (12.86±3.62) %, the purity of NK cell was up to (96.15±2.03) % and the recovery was (95.08±2.16) %after sorting by FACS, the purity was up to (93.35±3.61) % and the recovery was (94.11±3.01) % by MACS.And before sorting the post-HSCT peripheral blood, the proportion of the NK cell in the leukocyte was (11.01±2.08) %, the purity of NK cell was up to (96.22±2.16) % and the recovery was (95.27±1.18) % after sorting by FACS. The purity was up to (90.98±1.94) % and the recovery was (94.54±3.52) % by MACS. Thereis difference in purity of NK cell (t = 5.925, P ＜0.05), while no difference in rate of recovery between 2methods (t = 0.789, P ＞0.05). Conclusion FACS is more efficient, rapidly and easily than MACS in sorting NK cell, especially for post-HSCT cases.

Objective:To understand the current situation of human resources in the hemodialysis centers of different levels of hospitals in Beijing, and to provide reference data for themedical institutions at all levels to adjust the related human resources programs.Methods:Based on the self-designed questionnaire, the basic situation of 123 hemodialysis centers and the allocation of human resources of doctors, nurses and engineers in medical institutions of Beijing were investigated and analyzed.Results:Each nurse in hemodialysis center was responsible for (4.98± 0.74) hemodialysis patients at the same time in each treatment shift. The specialized nurses accounted for 23.32% of the total registered nurses. The ratio of engineers to dialysis machines was 1∶25.76. The proportion of doctors, nurses and engineers with intermediate professional titles or above was 82.47%, 33.08% and 29.81% respectively. The proportion of doctors with graduate education or above was 51.13%. The proportion of nurses and engineers with bachelor degree or above was 56.12% and 51.56% respectively. The differences in the professional titles and the highest academic qualifications of the employees (doctors, nurses and engineers) between tertiary hospitals and non-tertiary hospitals were statistically significant ( P < 0.05). Conclusion:The number of personnel in Beijing hemodialysis centers is basically in a similar proportion, but there are some differences between the hemodialysis centers of tertiary hospitals and those of non-tertiary hospitals in terms of age composition, working years, professional titles and educational background. It is necessary to optimize the allocation of human resources in hemodialysis centers of different levels of hospitals, further strengthen the training of professional talents and the cooperation of multidisciplinary teams, to promote the sustainable development of medical service quality.

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the most common and serious diabetic complications, which is the main cause of vision loss in adults. The specific vascular and neuropathology mechanism of DR is not clear. It has been demonstrated that Inflammatory reaction might be take effects in the development and progression of DR. Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), as an important chemokine in the inflammatory response process, promotes chemotactic and activating factors, destroys the blood-retinal barrier, causes retinal vascular disease, and activates microglia, which is related to the severity of the disease. With further research on MCP-1, it is possible to use chemokines and their receptors as target cells to control or slow down the progression of DR by reducing or inhibiting the production of MCP-1 in diabetic patients in the early stages of the disease. This study can provide new ideas and new methods about preventing and treating DR.

BACKGROUND:Apolipoprotein E is one of the important plasma apolipoproteins with polymorphism and involved in lipid metabolism and cholesterol balance modulation, playing also a role in the normal growth and repair of the nervous system.OBJECTIVE: To analyze apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism in patients with vascular dementia (VaD) in comparison with patients with cerebral infarction (CI) patients and healthy controls, so as to elicit the relationship between apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism and VaD.DESIGN: Case-control study.SETTING: Department of Neurology, General Hospital of Jinan Military Area Command of Chinese PLA.PARTICIPANTS: The participants were recruited from the inpatients and outpatients with cerebrovascular diseases and healthy subjects for routine physical examination in the General Hospital of Jinan Military Area Command of Chinese PLA between August 2001 and October 2003, including 35 cases of VaD, 36 CI cases and 40 healthy controls.METHODS: Four milliliters of venous blood was collected from the elbow vein form all participants after fasting for 12 hours for detection of apolipoprotein E genotype using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). Blood lipids and apolipoprotein contents were also examined.of triglyceride, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), as well as apolipoprotein A and aoplipoprotein B.RESULTS: Data of 35 VaD 36 CI patients and 40 healthy controls were all VaD group and CI group had higher ε4 allele frequency were higher (22.86% and 22.22% vs 7.5%, respectively, P ＜ 0.05) but lower ε3 allele frequency (70% and 69.45% vs 86.25%, respectively, P ＜ 0.05); the frequencies of all alleles were basically comparable between VaD and CI groups er in E ε4 allele carriers [(5.85±L03), (4.73±0.29), (4.96±0.87) mmol/L, respectively] than in E ε2 [(3.91±0.87), (3.12±0.65), (3.06±0.33) mmol/L] and ε3 [(1.34±0.21), (1.00±0.28), (0.94±0.32) g/L] allele carriers in VaD group (P ＜ 0.05).CONCLUSION: Apolipoprotein E gene polymorphism is closely associated with the onset of VaD, for which ε4 allele might be a risk factor with similar impact in CI.
