1.Remarks on the sporulation of bacillus subtilis
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2003;13(6):97-99
The sporulation of Bacillus subtilis varied depending on the difference between the strains the culture duration and the medium conditions. Edward medium was observed as proper for the sporulation. 48 hours is proper duration for B subtilis Du and ATCC6633, 72 hours for B subtilis NT

The Medical Journal of Malaysia 2004;59 Suppl B():27-28
Linear polymers have been commonly used as dental composite. However the aim of this work is to use hyperbranched polymer in an attempt to produce dental composite. The reason is because the dendritic molecules have shown low viscosity at higher molecular weight compared to the linear counterparts. Therefore, this work attempts to substitute the linear polymer with as much of hyperbranched polymer in the dental composite that would pass the required ISO 4049:1998(E) "Dentistry - Resin-based filling material". Several formulations of dental composites were used, i.e. combinations of linear-linear and linear-hyperbranched polymers for comparison. Following this, physical and mechanical characterisation were conducted based on the ISO standards such as water sorption and water solubility. Other characterisation such as polymerisation shrinkage and Vickers hardness were also evaluated. It was found that different types of resins give different physical and mechanical properties. The maximum achievable hyperbranched polymer, which passes the required ISO standard, that can be incorporated in the linear polymer to form dental composite is 43% wt.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2016;36(3):311-313
The current clinical efficacy evaluation system and evaluation methods of acupuncture have several limitations, and the application status is not optimistic. According to long-term observation, minimum clinically important difference (MCID) is consistent with the characteristics of clinical acupuncture, and has objective quanti- tative standard and wide applicability. Incorporating MCID into acupuncture clinical efficacy evaluation of tradition- al Chinese medicine can truly reflect the clinical effect of acupuncture and improve the disadvantages and shortcom- ings of acupuncture clinical evaluation, which could provide certain reference for building clinical efficacy evaluation system featured with TCM.

6.Feasibility analysis on the discipline of acupuncture-moxibustion and Tuina to be the top-grade discipline.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2012;32(10):865-870
By reviewing the historical evolution of the major catalogue adjustment of the discipline of acupuncture-moxibustion and Tuina for the graduate students, the current situation of the development of the discipline of acupuncture-moxibustion and Tuina is analyzed deeply in this paper. Based on the basic requirements of the setup and the adjustment of the top-grade discipline in the Discipline Catalogue Setup and Administrative Measures for the Academic Degree Award and Personnel Training (Academic Degree [2009] No. 10 Document) issued by the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education, with the strictly analysis, the author proposed that the discipline of acupuncture-moxibustion and Tuina should be set up to be the top-grade discipline. The author stated that the discipline of acupuncture-moxibustion and Tuina possessed the explicit study object and had many assignable second-grade disciplines. It could be acknowledged extensively in the academic field in terms of the setup of the top-grade discipline. The author expounded adequately the necessity of the stable and urgent requirements for the talents of the discipline of acupuncture-moxibustion and Tuina in the society, which provided the reference evidences for the adjustments of the discipline and major catalogue in the future.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2019;43(4):300-302
The information-based management of medical device standards is of great significance for promoting the development of the medical device standardization. Here we analyzed the important role of the information-based management of medical device standards in the delicacy management of the whole process of establishing and modifying medical device standards, introduced its present situation and upgrade of information-based management system of medical device standards, and put forward work ideas and suggestions for it.

9.Science of Acupuncture and Moxibustion should include standards related to acupuncture and moxibustion.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2016;36(3):315-318
The development of Science of Acupuncture and Moxibustion should be in accord with the trend of standardization and internationalization of the science of acupuncture and moxibustion. Based on the arrangement of chapters and sections in the textbook, 29 national standards, 6 standards or guidelines made by World Health Or- ganization(WHO) and 1 standard out of International Standardization Organization (ISO) are classified and intro- duced. It is suggested that the above contents should be considered as the evidence when the textbook is reedited. Also, it is proposed that humanization should be supplemented and the newest research findings should be traced.
