1.Effect of needling “Chang Qiang Point” on the febrifugal and analysis its mechanism after damaging lumbar spinal cord of febrile rabbits
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(02):-
In order to observe the febrifugal response of needling "Chang Qiang Point", and analyse its mechanism lumbar spinal cord of rabbits were damaged in the expermental study. The experimental findings were as follows: 1. It was found that cAMP content in csf was striking increased, when leukocytic pyrogen fever of rabbits was significant. During needling "Chang Qiang Point" of febrile rabbits, however, febrile response was markedly inhibited(at 60 min~?T℃ was 0.23?0.07 and TRI4 0.61?0.03). There was significant difference(P0.05). 3. After damaging lumbar spinal cord of rabbits, there were certain change of rectal temperature and the febrile response, but it had no effect on cAMP content in csf. The authors infered that the impulses from "Chang Qiang Point" transmiled Via spinal cord might be closely associated with reflex mechanism and the change of cAMP content might play an important role in the mechanism of febrifugal effect during needling "Chang Qiang Point" in febrile rabbits.

Objective To study effect of octreotide combined with ulinastatin on serum lipase, CRP and clinical efficacy in patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods 60 cases with acute pancreatitis were selected and divided into 2 groups.30 cases in the control group were treated with ulinastatin.30 cases in the experiment group were treated on the base of the control group by octreotide.Clinical effects, lipase and CRP were compared after 1 weeks treatment. Results Compared with the control group after treatment, the serum lipase, CRP level was lower in the experiment group (P<0.05), and the clinical total effective rate was significantly higher in the experiment group than in the control group ( P<0.05 ) . Conclusion Octreotide combined with ulinastatin has good clinical curative effect on acute pancreatitis. It is speculated that the mechanism may be related to the decreasing of serum lipase and CRP level in patients.

Objective Finding characteristic of senile colon diverticula in 70 cases senile colon diverticula diagnosed by colonoscope through comparing and summarizing. Methods From Jan 1997 to Dec 2001, 70 cases older than 60 years old senile colon diverticula diagnosed by colonoscope in endoscopy department of PLA general hospital. Male 54 cases ,female 16 cases .Age from 60 to 84 years old, average age 68.70?5.39. Results ①With age increased, detectable rate of colon diverticula and multiple colon diverticula rised; ②Detectable rate in male higher than female; ③Whether the single or multiple diverticula ,all predilection site is in the right colon, rate of the right to the left is 2.8∶1(42∶15), and the single diverticula is more obvious. Conclusions ①Occurrence of diverticula have relation to age; ②Incidence in the right colon of senile is lower than of young people; ③The left colon diverticula and bilateral colon diverticula in senile is higher than in young people.

Objective: To study stress distribution and displacement by different distract directioos on mandibular corpus with finite element method. Methods:A three-dimensional finite element model of mandibular distraction osteogenesis was established.Von Mises stress as well as the displac ement of gnathion and gonion under different loads were measured. Result s:The stress and displacement were positively related with distract forc e. Von Mises stress primarily accumulated in distracted areas and were higher un der bilateral distraction parallel to the occlusial plane. Gnathion and gonion w ere positively displaced on X and Z axes and negatively displaced on Y axis. Distraction parallel to the mandibular body induced positive displaceme nt of mandible on X and Y axes and negative on Z axis. Concl usion:Transversal displacement to the opposite side is greater during un ilateral distraction, while displacement on the saggittal plane is greater durin g bilateral distraction.

Objectives To determine the predictive effect of the transvaginal ultrasonographic cervical measurement in induction of labor among the nulliparous. Methods This prospective observational study recruited women with singleton gestation scheduled for induction of labor at ≥37 weeks. All the pregnancy women were nulliparous. Transvaginal ultrasonographic cervical measurement was performed and Bishop score was detemined, each by operators masked to the other measurement. Data were collected on parity, gestational age, mode of delivery, induction agent, induction onset of labor interval, Bishop score and cervical measurement. Results A total 121 women were included. A stepwise regression model identified cervical length was the best linear predictor of induction to onset of labor interval. ( r=0.67, P
7.The characteristics and treating strategy on the micro-environment of solid tumor
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(01):-
The occurrence and development of solid tumor is a multi-factor,multi-step and multi-gene interactive process. The generation of micro vasculature of solid tumor,as well as the interaction between tumor and micro-environment,decides the tumor's biological characteristics of growth, recurrence, invasion and metastasis.Reasonable application of anti-angiogenesis therapy enables the normalization of tumor vascular system to enhance the efficiency of chemotherapy and radiation treatment and prolong survival time in patients.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Objective: For preparing the reference material of alkaline phosphatase(ALP), the purification and properties of ALP from porcine kidney were studied. Methods: The ALP purification procedure included isolation microvillus of porcine kidney cortices by solubilization the membrance-binding enzymes with 1-butanol, precipitation with ammonium sulfate, chromatography on DEAE-Sephacel,ConA-Sepharose,Sephadex G-200 and a immuno-affinity column of anti-GGT antibodies. Results: The purified enzyme had a specific activity of 402 kU/g protein at 37℃and was almost free of contaminating enzymes. The apparent Michaelis constants was 1.35 mmol/L, and the optimum pH was 10.40. Conclusion: The kinetic properties of the preparation were very close to those of the enzyme present in the human serum, The product was suitable as enzyme preparation for producing the enzyme reference material.

Objective To study the expression and cellular localization of STAT3 and SOCS-3 in the motor neurons of normal rat spinal cord. Methods Immunocytochemistry and morphometry methods were used in the present study. Results STAT3 immunocytochemical staining was mainly distributed in the cytoplasm of the motor neurons of the ventral horns, SOCS-3 immunoreactive products were extensively distributed in the neurons of the ventral and dorsal horns, glia and fibers of the spinal cord. In the ventral horn, SOCS-3 immunoreactivity was found in the nuclei and/or cytoplasm of the motor neurons. Conclusions STAT3 and SOCS-3 are extensively distributed in the normal adult rat spinal cord and SOCS-3 is existence in the forms of nuclear or cytoplasmic protein.
