Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;29(10):1193-1196
Objective: To establish a stress ulcer model by seawater immersion and restriction in rats, and to investigate the mechanism of preconditioning on stress ulcer and the effect of different stressing periods on the ulcer. Methods: A total of 60 male Wistar rats were equally divided into 6 groups, namely, the normal control group (Group A), direct stress group(Group B), precondition group I (Group C), precondition group II (Group S), precondition group III (Group E), and ranitidine group (Group F). Precondition peroids of C,D,E groups were 0.5 h/d, 1 h/d, and 1 h/d, respectively, for 5 days. Stress time in E group was 10 h,and in B,C,D,and F groups were 8 h. Radioimmunoassay was used to determine the sets levels of endothelin (ET) and 6-dk-dPGF1α in rats. Ulcer index was calculated by Guth method; the ulcer lesion tissues were collected for further pathological examination. Results: The sera ET levels in group C, D and F were lower than those in group B(P<0.01,P< 0.05,and P<0.01, respectively). The sera 6-dk-dPGF1α levels in group C, D and F were significantly higher than those in group B(P<0.01,P<0.05,and P<0.01, respectively). The ulcer indices in group C, D and F were significantly lower than those in group B (P<0.01,P<0.05,and P<0.01, respectively). The pathological results were improved in group C, D, and F compared with those in group B. Conclusion: Preconditioning can effectively reduce the rat stress ulcer, but long-time stressing may offset the protective effect of precondition.

Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective To explore the relationship between nuclear factor ?B (NF ?B) and the occurrence, metastasis, and treatment of colon cancer. Methods The literature on the structure and the property of molecular biology of NF ?B, the relationship between NF ?B and apopotosis, malignant tumor and colon cancer were reviewed. Results NF ?B had action of antiapopotosis. The occurrence of malignant tumor had close relation with the oncogene by NF ?B, the metastasis of malignant tumor was that cell of cancer escaped the killing and supervising of immunity by NF ?B. NF ?B affected the occurrence and metastasis of colon cancer by regulating c myc, Cox2, ICAM 1.Conclusion NF ?B has important action in the occurrence and metastasis of colon cancer. It will become a new target of treatment.
3.Trifoil peptide and gastrointestinal ulcer
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2000;0(11):-
ObjectiveTo introduce the effect of trifoil peptides on the protection and treatment of gastrointestinal ulcer(GIU). MethodsWe reviewed literatures about trifoil peptide in its structure, distribution, physiologic effect and mechanism, and its relation with GIU. Results Trifoil peptides formed a layer of mucus glue by combining with glycoprotein ,and improved the defense ability of the gastrointestinal(GI) mucosa .Trifoil peptides repaired the GI mucosa by abjusting the movement of mucosal cells. Trifoil peptides also had the effect of antiproliferation and antiapopotosis. There was an ulcer-associated cell lineage (UACL) around GIU. In GIU, trifoil peptides unusually expressed new cells coming from UACL moved to the surface of ulcer, and repaired the ulcer. UACL can express three trifoil peptides.Used before and after the experiment, trifoil peptides have the protective and therapeutic effect on the experiment gastroenteric ulcer. ConclusionsTrifoil peptides may offer a new method to prevent and treat GIU.

5.Extraction Process of Zushima Gel Cream
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(8):73-75
Objective To optimize the extraction process of Zushima Gel Cream. Methods Setting the content of daphnetin as an investigating index, and the amount of solvent, soak time and the extraction time as investigating factors, the orthogonal experiment was used to optimize the extraction process. Results The best extraction process was as follows:adding 30 mL water to degreasing Zushima Gel Cream;soaking for half an hour;extracting one time for two hours. The average content of daphnetin was 9.83 mg/g.Conclusion The extraction process is stable, reliable, and energy-saving. The study provided experimental evidence for the preparation process of Zushima Gel Cream.

28 patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome caused by 2009 H1N1 influenza were mechanically ventilated for 1 hour in the supine, lateral, semi-supine, lateral prone, and prone position respectively. Changes of heart rate, respiratory parameters and arterial partial pressure of oxygen ( PaO2 )were measured. There were no significant differences ( P > 0. 05 ) of heart rate and mean arterial pressure among these postures. Lateral prone ( P < 0. 05 ) and prone posture ( P < 0. 01 ) , however, can both significantly improve tidal volume, mean airway pressure, PaO2, static lung compliance and oxygenation index. We concluded that mechanical ventilation delivered in the prone position can remarkably improve oxygenation in patients with H1N1 influenza-associated acute lung injury.

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
An internal amplification control, which could be co-amplified with the invA target gene of Salmonella in the PCR system, was constructed in order to indicate possible PCR inhibitors derived from food samples. Specificity of this PCR system was tested with 9 Salmonella strains and 15 non-Salmonella strains, and the results showed that there was a 374 bp amplicon resulted from all Salmonella strains, while only a 513 bp IAC amplicon appeared after the amplification for all non-Salmonella strains. The detection sensitivity of this PCR system was 12.8 fg/?L for purified target DNA, and the detection limit for artificially inoculated milks was 8 cfu /25g if they were enriched for 8h in buffered peptone water. Salmonella in 80 samples of seriously contaminated milks was detected by the PCR method developed in this study, and the experiments demonstrated that it could successfully eliminate false-negative results.

Objective To investigate the effect of cyclooxygenase-2(cox-2)on prostaglandin I2(PGI2)/thromboxane A2(TXA2)system in ischemia reperfusion(I/R)injury to small bowel in rat. Methods Forty-eight male SD rats were randomly divided into three groups:control group(n=8),I/R group(n=20)and intervention group(n=20).Small intestine I/R model was established with the animals of I/R group:after anesthesia, rats were split along the middle abdominal incision, the mesenteric artery was then bluntly separated and clipped with a blood vessel forceps at its root for 45 minutes to block the blood flow, then releasing the forceps for reperfusion.Animals of intervention group were lavaged with Nimeshulide 1h before operation, the remaining steps were the same as did in I/R group. The samples of blood and intestinal tissue were collected at 3,6,12 and 24 hours after operation. The content of plasma D-lactate was detected by ultraviolet spectrophotometric method.Radioimmunoassay was used to detect 6-keto-PGF1?(the stable metabolite of PGI2,reflected the level of PGI2)and thromboxane B2(TXB2,stable metabolite of TXA2,reflected the level of TXA2)in serum and tissues of small bowel. The expression of cox-2 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR.Results Compared with the control group, the levels of plasma D-lactate,cox-2,6-keto-PGF1? and TXB2 were significantly increased in I/R group, with more obvious increase of TXB2,and the value of 6-keto-PGF1?/TXB2 decreased significantly(P
